• Audio waveform disappears from the Source monitor after opening another audio clip

  I use Premiere Pro CC 2015 on an iMac (late 2014) of new 27-inch Retina 5 k with 8 GB of RAM.

  I've got 5 takes of the same voice that I'm editing into a simple video "How-to" recorded at the screen. I'm pass between the clamps and picking at the take, that I prefer and move it into the timeline.

  Problem is, once I open an audio file and then pass away from him to another audio file in the monitor Source Panel, the waveforms on this clip will not appear when I open it in the Source monitor. See waveforms is a unique case, unless I restart Premiere Pro. I can still hear everything and I still see the playhead moving across a green screen, but the waveforms are gone. It works fine the first time I open the clip.

  I waited about 10-15 minutes to see if it's just to take a second to reload the waveforms, but none of the clips appear in their new waveforms unless I restart the first. I tried to open a video and then come back to an audio clip. I have actually managed to do come back simply by moving the source monitor Panel in its own window separate from the table of mixing, effects, etc. but it happened again the next time I went to another audio clip and no amount of monitor source is fluttering it don't come back.

  Is there something that I am missing? I can still change course by listening to each piece of the voice-over begins, but without seeing it, it's a real pain.

  I think that this has been fixed with the latest update. No more problems!

  I'm editing files wav for a project in the current version of first CC.  The first time I open the file of the audio waveform appears as usual in the Panel Source, but when I return to him (after the opening of a different audio file), all I see is a blank screen (blue), where the waveform must be.   Yes, it is a known problem that we address in a future update. In the meantime, you can get the waveforms to return for a music video responsible notably for the scaling of the zoom just below bar of the time scale. Annoying, Yes, but again once we will have this work in an update.

  In CS6 on a Mac, my source monitor shows 2 channels for my audio, but when I click on and drag the audio only button in the timeline, it takes only one of 2 audio tracks. Why is this? I can drag again to get a second track, but why didn't he brings them both at the same time?

  You can tell looking at the speaker icons in the header of the track.  You will see one of the mono tracks and two for stereo tracks.

  You can also tell by looking at the waveform.  Mono, will show stereo will show two.

  argggh. Ok. I have (I thought) followed merged help from peter grainge on something simple webhelp merged, but I'm a devil of a time to produce the desired result and update the files published to show what is merged (e.g., child projects).

I use lowercase file names when I generate, and even though I specified in each, for example, c:\fruits\testPublish\mergedProjects\apples and c:\fruits\testPublish\mergedProjects\oranges, the result publication shows that the details of the child server go to the directory root (c:\fruits\testPublish).

  I was trying in error to build and publish the subprojects in the master, even if their records were not actually in the project (component). Apparently, I was literally reading directions to stone who has not expressly stated I want to build and publish for each individual subproject. Accordingly, I continued to get the master to generate and disseminate within itself.

• Derives from audio desynchronization in PE10 (h264 sources)

  I have problems with some h.264 footage recorded with an internal PCI card from Hauppauge Colossus 720 p: when I export the final movie, more time (2 min +) clips can go to shift upward in 1-2 seconds, depending on the length of the clip. It's also in the recently bought first Elements 10. Yes, I know H264 is not the best format of edition, but I have little choice because of the quality of image and the handling of large files.

  The project format that I use is AVCHD 720 p and there is no red band above the clips (except when using effects of course) so I think that the captured material is in its "native" format

  This is the best real: when previewing of the said sequence in PE10 (space key), everything is beautiful and perfectly synchronized. The problem only occurs when you export. So far I have tried:

  * export in various formats (WMV, QT, etc.)

  * addition of Cup every 10-20 seconds in the offending clips

  * time them stretched to 99.9% or 100.1%

  * unrelated audio and video titles and moved these different

  * forced a fixed framerate on the videos from the source - which helps in some situations

  * used different bitrates and formats (fixed and variable bitrates) in capture software

  What I have not tried, but I would have preferred is not:

  * export WMV/QT to the highest setting from capture software and modify this (loss of quality and the intermediate images)

  * divide the. File h264 TS in its video and Audio components (intermediate files and disk space problems)

  As far as I KNOW, this problem happened not in PE9.

  All comments and suggestions are warmly welcomed!

  This comment about high framerate hit an agreement - try searching the knowledge base.

  The only other suggestion I can make is to:

  • unlink the audio / video
  • Audio export
  • convert audio to 48 kHz 16-bit PCM .wav (the free Audacity can do this)
  • remove the original sound of chronology
  • Add audio PCM of chronology.

  Several steps, but it really takes very little time to do.

Please check if it is moved or eliminated.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Here are some details about my computing environment and this project which can be useful.  PC under XP Pro SP3 and is updated, I have a NAS 3TO where I store my videos and pictures as well as all my documents. The directories of film, photo and doc on this NAS are all drives mapped to my computer.   The project shows as 39 minutes long and consists of some .avi videos that I took with a Vado HD and lots of photos that I added narration to in Premiere pro.  Everything seems to work well when I start exporting. I can see the source and the output in the export Premiere Pro window, then when I press start the queue in Encoder CS4, the process fails and the yellow sign appears in the status column. By clicking on this sign performance opens the text messages I pasted in above. What I find particularly odd is that the error message trying to read a source file that is a temporary file on the C drive, rather than in the job file for this project, which is located on the D drive, a second HD to my computer where the Adobe Premiere 4.0 works directory is in the My Documents folder.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            I have put a lot of time and effort into this project and I'm very happy with it, I just need to get it online.  I'm very grateful for any help you can give me.  Thank you.

  Click on the heading of column titled DATE. This indicates that the primary sort column. Click on DATE again to reverse the order.

• Having trouble getting my phone to allow installing applications from 'unknown source '.

  I downloaded CompanionLink software to allow me to sync my new BackFlip with MS Outlook. The CL site told me how to change the security settings to allow this download must be installed on my phone. However, the screens on the phone are not exactly as described on the website of CompanionLink. It says I have to say on the phone to allow installation of applications from "Unknown Sources", but I can't find where to change this security setting. If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful.

  Also, if anyone has better suggestions for synchronization of Contacts, lists of tasks, calendar and Notes of MS Outlook to Backflip, I understand that too.

• How can I use notifications to send data from different sources for the same chart?

  I use the model of 'Continuous measurement and logging' project comes with LV 2013.

  It is extremenly helpful in understanding the messaging between the acquisition, graphic and loops of newspaper. (Thank you NEITHER!)

  I ran into a snag though.

  I want to change so that my graphic loop receives notifications of data from two sources of acquisition by the declarant.

  I have trouble getting the data from the two sources to display on one graph.

  I've isolated the problem in the attached vi.

  Here's what happens:

  1. I create 2 parallel loops data and send the data to a third parallel loop with the notifiers.

  2. the third loop receives data from one of the loops because one of the authors of just receiving notifications is to expire instead of receive data.

  Can anyone suggest how can I fix?

  Here's my modification of your VI. I put notes on the block diagram to explain the changes. He uses a queue for data transfer to avoid data loss. It uses a notifier to stop loops. All local variables and value property nodes have been eliminated.

  The way loops are arrested probably let some data in the queue. No more of one or two iterations of each of the loops of data acquisition. If you need ensure that all data has been displayed (or recorded in a real application), then you must stop acquiring loop first and read the queue until you know it's empty and both other loops stopped. Then stop the render loop and release the queue and the notifier.

  using Movie Maker 2.1?

  If you drag the playback indicator (vertical line with square
  at the top... Rest the pointer on the square and drag)...
  the music should start playuing.

  Unlike the video track... you can click left/make dragging clips
  the audio left and right. And you can change the
  duration of a single photo on the timeline manually. Move
  your pointer autour in border of an element until you see a
  double red arrow. Now drag the double red arrow... you'll
  display a ToolTip that shows the evolution of life.
