  Hi all

  Please let me know how can I call the Muse javascript function (written using the object > option Insert HTML code) by a click of a button.

  This button has been designed and coded using CC animate and its OEM file has been imported in MUSE.

  Basically, I'm looking for a solution communicate between MUSE and OEM, and vice versa.

  There is no adequate way to do file OAM control over site of muse. In fact, even a simple button OAM is a html document independent, which has a head, body and its own scripts and html code. OAM - is a site within your site are located in an iframe. This format is used for banners and animations for beauty, but not for the features. If you need the functionality, you must export your animation in html and javascript, disassemble the part code and integrate the muse - something on your mind, in the body. And of course, you have to understand with in the code. But even for a experienced, coders this approach would be absurd. It is easier to make a simple button in cssto integrate this a whopper for the site, which would create a disproportionate burden

• Problem with Menus in MUSE and Composition Widget

  I seem to have some sort of problem in script when my site MUSE publishing.

  I created a blank publication in MUSE to AutoPlay widget. It autoplays fine in preview mode, MUSE and in the preview in browser mode. But now that I published it online, it is not auto-jouer. In fact, even when manually click you on the slider it won't move the frames to the next. I have 8 put frameworks in place and the images are all published on my server in the pictures folder.

  I create horizontal menus and the last two have submenus. They come down and discover very well when hovered on, in the two preview modes in MUSE just fine, and after I export my HTML and my browser shows the preview of the site before online publication, as does the cursor.

  But then...

  I publish the html code in DreamWeaver and ftp to my server from there and the cursor of the composition and function of drop-down menus. I have published several other sites of the MUSE in this way so I consider that I don't know how to post them this way.

  In preview of MUSE modes the first frame of the composition appears with a trigger of color yellow because the active state is set to yellow, and then it starts just to auto play from there. But not in my browsers when published. I tried several different browsers and on a Mac and PC, and it is not auto-jouer anywhere.

  My settings in MUSE for composition are:

  Position: stacked

  See setting targets: bearing

  Hide targets: no

  Transition: discoloration

  Transition speed: 1.5

  AutoPlay: 4

  After: 3

  Play once: not clicked

  Others... not important.

  I recreated these elements and re-uploaded the whole site from scratch again and again and cleared caches and cookies and refreshed, and I don't think it's my browsers that are the problem.

  I checked my folders on the server and all the folders and their content is on my server that MUSE is published in HTML format. I noticed that there are no images little pre-loader download MUSE in my pictures folder. Not sure if the submenus drop down need those too? But that should not prevent the operation of the slide show manually in any case I think!

  Regarding the scripts themselves, 11 scripts were exported from MUSE and I checked and 11 are on my server.

  I also thought maybe it was a layers deliver. But this should not stop the cursor to go into action automatically, either on the layer above or not. That could make unclickable, but do not stop it working. If it was a matter of layers too, so you should not work properly in the preview in browser mode, which these two questions very well work in. And, my menu is on the top layer, so this does not explain it is a malfunction.

  Well ~ I did a test and uploaded my site through Business Catalyst online then everything worked fine there. So, I ended up calling support MUSE.

  Support suggestion was: rather than use DreamWeaver to upload my site via FTP, I use the option just download on my server using the ' Upload FTP host"under the"File"menu."

  This fixed everything! All menus are going very well now, and my cursor to MUSE on my test page works too. Even if I have a current third-party cursor on my home page.

  She said that it seemed for some reason any DW became not all files that it needed to make my site work properly. Then maybe a new bug? Who knows?

  In any case, my site and all of its components work perfectly now ~ yay! Hope this helps someone else!

  You can export the site Muse as a code html, but wordpress is a very different system and IMO is not compatible.

• Adobe slow Muse and refuses to listen to extracts

  I advise you to check following:

  • Please check if you get the same problem with the new files as well?
    • If the problem is with the files existing only then change it the local folder location and then check if it works.
  • You use the latest version of Muse? You can check it since Adobe Muse > Muse cc. latest version of Muse is CC 2015 1.2.44. If you don't have the latest version then update.
  • If Muse is up to date, try resetting the preferences of Muse.
    • Go as a result of location (before trying the following steps please stop Muse)
      • ~/Library/preferences
    • Rename the following file by adding _old to the end of their
      • com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.1
      • AdobeMuse
  • If the steps above do not help then try uninstalling and reinstalling Muse.

  Let me know if the problem persists.

  Update of the muse do not delete (.muse) Web site files, I guess somehow open recent list does not appear.

  I'm sure if you go to the place where your files are saved, you will be able to find them. In case you don't remember not the location and then search for the file with the extension .muse, search in windows Explorer (for windows) or the Finder, Spot (for MAC)

  Double click on the file will open in Muse.

  If you are publishing to Business Catalyst, go to file > properties of the Site in Muse. The 'Advanced' Panel will turn off IBE. We will address this problem in an update.

• Terrible problems of conversion of the site to meet the new version of Muse (and other important observations)

  Dear all

  I was very pleased with the new version of sensitive Muse.

  I had downloaded the pre-release version and tested it and presented my comments as a good obedient of Muse Web site designer, after all, we must all contribute to get the best system that actually works.

  Is the day of release and I've updated Muse via my desktop CC application.

  I watched videos Adobe make reference to liberation, that everything online and even read through the excellent series of video training sensitive to themes of Muse.

  Only some of my clients gave me their business with the understanding that I would like to convert their sites Adaptive desktop, Tablet and phone versions to fully responsive as soon as the new version is out.

  A customer has a big launch very soon which also requires the contents of the site changes so I decided to tackle this site first.

  I made a copy of the site and opened it and it converted or whatever Muse only when you open an existing site in the new face.

  I changed all the settings, site, properties etc etc in the offline version of the page.

  Then, I have worked to make the Master suited page.

  It is then that my nightmare began.

  Nothing seemed to work as described and the biggest problem was the clamp that was so slow, late, dried, etc., it was almost unusable.

  In any case, after 18 hours, the page master has been made and when you preview in the development tools Google Chrome seemed reasonable enough.

  Why 18 hours you might ask, well partly because of the clamp problem mentioned previously, but the entire system is extremely inefficient in the way it works with so many questions to consider whether to apply or not apply to each object and a constant in Google Chrome preview as you could not trust what has been is displayed on the screen of Muse.

  Next challenge was to convert the content of the home page. It wasn't a page complex and only consists of 6 pieces - pictures, text and a button on the State.

  I have applied all the settings and slide the clamp to slightly reduce the width of the browser, that when I had to move showed major problems on the page immediately:

  • Huge empty spaces appeared
  • The objects did not adapted as it should and that I had seen in so many videos - so, for example, if a block of text was next to an image they immediately went massively out of alignment when you drag the clip
  • The finished status button on the margins of the page
  • Etc etc.

  In any case, after 6 hours of tearing my hair that I give up and contacted Adobe.

  They began a session remotely and said I had everything set correctly and that Muse wasn't as the developers had planned.

  Finally, they said by e-mail on the .muse file, which I did, and of course I'm sitting here with a looming deadline and still no answer on how to solve the problems, which no doubt all my other existing sites will not have when I come to convert.

  Other problems discovered during my tests to date are:

  • Right click for very slow service
  • Slow to open library (more despite being told you can download several items from the library when you try to load too, a lot (by Muse) everything freezes Muse and you force a fence via the Task Manager)
  • Adjusting the position of the breakpoint by right clicking on the breakpoint window very slow, late development and jerks (IE just like the clip)

  In addition, I was absolutely horrified to see that there were other issues, especially since many objects react at all:

  • Image do not respond in the envelope
  • Compositions of
  • Slideshows
  • Forms
  • Google maps has only reactive width no height as well
  • Google Map inserted via insert HTML while I updated sensitive width, there is not (I guess the code must be added to make all insert sensitive html and some guidance on what could be this code would be useful Adobe, including a video on the subject feature Muse is so limited you must add a large number of html).
  • YouTube has only reactive width no height so completely useless
  • No effect of scrolling on Muse reactive
  • In addition, virtually all 3rd party widgets Muse themes et al. do not work with response as they say they are waiting for Adobe to undertake the necessary work on base first. So any site that uses widgets cannot be converted (and almost all do so because of the lack of functionality of Muse)

  This Muse is not really sensitive and it is useless to creation or conversion of sites until it is.

  Also, I was extremely disappointed to see that despite me and a lot of other designers asking some features via the Forums Muse he had not been included. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Draw ellipses (& circles) and polygons that you can in InDesign in forms or frames of image
  • Site search function
  • Images do not clearly appear in the Muse until preview
  • No password protection function
  • Form always using reCAPTCHA 1 not 2
  • No installation on the forms file upload
  • Slideshow of legends still not discoloration with images
  • No idea if all the SEO issues as I cannot finish a site and scan

  What a disappointment is complete.

  So, for me, sorry Adobe not usable as a form builder free site responsive until much more work has been done, hopefully very soon.

• I updated a page in Muse and realized that it was an older version of my web site. Can I export the site, edit the pages downloaded and opened upward in the Muse?

  I'm so frustrated! Whenever there is an update in Muse and I opened my site it converts it back up.  Tells me to save it as something else, etc... When I finally opened my website to work on it I have updated a page.  Then, after all, I noticed it was not the last one, I worked on because the homepage and other pages are all wrong. Rather than redo everything that I exported the site, put on a page I've finally updated and is there a way to recover Muse? Also, I'm moving a lot.  My site is in my creative cloud folder, so I can go from one computer to the other.  I also have a lot of 'conflict' with the site on my laptop and desktop.  How to spend it?  I think I might have to 'disconnect' each time of computers also is always true?  Thanks for anyone who can help out me.

  So that the file be sure you want to synchronize to creative cloud and down to your other computers/devices, you must close the file in Muse. If the file is opened in two different copies of Muse, you'll end up with warnings of 'conflict' of creative clouds and the file duplicates in your Cloud Files .muse creation folder. A single .muse file cannot be updated simultaneously by two different copies of Muse.

  Is there a formatting issue that I don't see? It seems to me that once it downloads on BC, things are converted and will not be converted. It is vital that I can make changes to both the browser and the master file without interruption of the site as a whole and without having to redo work hours which is done via the browser in the editor.

  I spoke with business catalyst support and we have determined that the problem was not with the software but with the process. I just change each page through the site manager and not through the edit tab that was causing my whole question. I appreciate all your help!

  If you say 'no' to recovery, all changes made since the last Save will be lost.

  The error appearing on the launch, during recovery, says something so bad when you are already working with Muse and rather than saving a problem in your Muse .muse file set up an error message and stop.

  If you do not already revived and selected 'no' to recovery, we are able to recover manually you are unsaved work and fix the problem in the unsaved changes that is causing the error.

  Please send us the .muse file and the folder "Recovery" at "~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0/Local Store" at [email protected] as well as a link to this topic for the context.
