Muse - Chrome - minimum height.

Hey!

Recently, I published my Web site (at www.emilseres.com) and are having problems with the combination of Chrome and the minimum height of the site. In Safari and Firefox, it looks great. However, in Chrome it's basically endless scrolling. Deleting this in the code, the site seems normal (inspecting in Chrome - however, can't find the code in my css/index).

Everyone recognizes the problem and have a solution?

Kind regards

Emil Seres

I checked the site in browsers, specifically in Chrome and I don't see the problem. I believe that you have already solved the problem.

Thank you

The reason why I need to this size, it's that I'm trying to print a photo on the bottom half of the book which is actually 5.5 wide and 8.5 high. Hello.

The minimum supported size is 3.5 inches wide by 5 inches high.  If the height is specified as something more smaller than 5 inches it will not print to avoid paper jams or feeding problems in case the book is actually less than 5 inches high.

    Hello

is it possible to do?              regedit?

    Thank you

    Hi Lio,

Unfortunately, you will not be able to change the minimum height of the taskbar. You can increase the size but not reduce it beyond the size that it is defined. Try changing the screen resolution. If you increase the screen resolution, the size will be reduced.

It will be useful. If you have additional questions on the computer, please ask your question about Windows and we will be happy to help you.

  • Minimum height and width does not work in the responsive project

I'm working on a responsive project in Captivate 9, breakpoint Office, for one of the items minimum height 50px and Minimum width to 50px.

In points out of office and Tablet, she gets no smaller than 50px. However, breaking Mobile, point it turns into 32px Min-Height and Min-Width 4.0px.

The 32px Min-Height and Min-Width 4.0px take a coral color in the breakpoint Mobile.

Why don't the 50px which was update to stop Office remain the same on all breakpoints?

What is the purpose? A 50 x 50 pixel png? I just create a project that is sensitive with a png of 200 x 200, placed in the desktop view and then set the size of the object and the height to 50 pixels. When I pass between breakpoints, the size remains the same. The size and position properties are all a light purple color on each breakpoint, which I guess means that these attributes are inherited from the Office discovers.

If the boxes under "Height" and "Width" have transformed a coral-colored, I guess that means that these attributes have been changed for this breakpoint.

And you obviously already know. I guess that I'm just trying to say that he expected to run, as it does for me!

You are able to adjust these modified figures go back to your desired size? The same thing happens if you create, say, a dynamic square object in the view of the Office? Have you tried right clicking on the object in the desktop view and selecting "Apply position properties from all points of view"?

I created my site with a minimum height of 500 px. I have added content to the homepage which exceeds the value of minimum height of 500px.  I added not yet any content to any other pages.  Therefore, in Design view empty pages only have a height of 500px: (they behave as expected as shown below)

However, when I Preview or publish the site, empty pages take on the height of the homepage even if they don't contain any content:

  • minimum height for subforms flowed

    Hello

I have a subform that has a list of lines of the table inside the subform. These rows in the table have the 'hidden' presence and the presence becomes 'visible', based on a selection of radio in the area. Initially, when the form is loaded, these rows in the table are all hidden by default until users are added by changing the settings of the radio box. The subform that holds these rows in the table has a border and the content is "cast". When the content is cast and when all the rows of the table are hidden, the height of the subform is too small and the outline of the box does not look nice. is it possible for me to add a minimum height for this subform flowed? Is this possible?

I tried to add the following to the layout event javascript code: loan of the subform, but it does not work:

    this.minH = "1.8in";

I understand min-height can be added to the textfields, but I don't understand why I can't add a minimum height to a subform flowed. Is there another way to do this? I put the javascript above for another event in order to make it work? Help, please...

I think minW and minH are inherited attributes are available to all containers, even if not all of them are being implemented. A subform flowed reserves only enough space for visible content, so if there is no content to draw, there is no space available. The only space reserved outside the content available is for the framework (i.e. borders/margins/etc) so that you can make when you hide the lines is to check if the subform has nothing left in it. If this isn't the case, then increase the margins up or down to increase the visible frame.

        Subform1.margin.bottomInset = "1.8in";

You can define it at the time when you show something. Otherwise, you can place a subform of spacer (positioned) within the subform flowed to book space and hide if necessary.

  • I can't set the minimum height for a subform flowed

I have a subform, sfQ, which contains four elements, tfInitials, cbQ, tfTypeCheck (hidden) and the tfQ1. tfQ1 is a text field that allows multiple lines. The four begin with a height of in.3125. When I put the subform to cast, the elements are moved to 'of top-down and the height of the a.9375 subform changes (as I expect). When I change the subform to the 'Western text', height of the subform is unafraid to return to in.3125. I expect to shrink down, given that the subform has no need to be so great when the lines are executed from left to right.

If I select the subform and go to the page layout palette, and then type in the height I want, he returns to en.9375.

If I click and drag the area of resizing in design mode, it develops to its larger size.

If I remove everything except a field and replace the subform flowed, he was always a.9375!

If I go to the event of the subform docReady and adjust the height with this.h = '.3125in'; the subform will not grow when the tfQ1 text field receives a value of type long (two or more lines).

Ideas on them get around this?

    I thought about it...

I added a line to the docReady event, so now I have:

    This.h = ".3125in";

    this.maxH = "9" in

  • Minimum line height

    Any body know:

What units of measurement areas of line and the height in the properties toolbar works in? I put a line height of 99, but the ruler line to be a little more 40pixels, no idea why this discrepancy?

Also, I could reduce the height of 99 to 1 if I wanted, but the line on screen never reduced to less than 19 or 20 pixels in height (according to the rule), this is also true when displayed in a browser. Any thoughts why this could be would also be greatly appreciated.

    more information:

IF you really want to force a table cell to have a minimum height, use either a gif "spacer" (as
Murray suggested), which is a transparent image that you place in one of the cells of a row, and
force the line to the height that you give to the image.
    In general:

    a text

The gif of 250 height force the line to be at least 250 px high.

Another way to achieve the same thing would be to place a div (rather than an image) in the cell, and
set the height of the div with css:

Because (something surprising), while the height of the table and cells is ignored, the height divs is NOT.
Note that the div must contain something (where the).

  • Muse moving around objects when published or previewed

This has been driving me crazy. I've seen a lot of posts on this topic, but without real answers here! I also spent hours in a chat room with a specialist of the Muse who had virtually nothing to say to help me with this problem. Muse continues to loose my pages when I publish them. Boxes to move, spacing gets screwed up. I can't take more. I sent support Muse twice but no response. I have messaged also a REP here, also unanswered.

Here are some screenshots to show you what is happening:

I guess that this response did not help?

Zak Williamson 3 days there are

It seems that you solved the problem? Or is there a layout problem that I do not notice?

The most common cause of differences in page layout is the differences in text layout engines and fonts between browsers and versions of browsers and devices.

The exact height of text frames are drawn in Muse design compared to the height of the actual text in the frame is important. Exactly how (and if) the objects overlap or one containing entirely in Muse design is important. Finally, how items are grouped in Muse Design effects view how the HTML is generated and can be a tool to control how your pages respond to differences in presentation between the browsers and devices.

Given your specific Visual design, some recommendations will reduce the probability of change:

    (1) be sure text frames are drawn larger than the text they contain, so that no dotted line appears in the text blocks (which is an indicator of the minimum height for the text block set). If a line of minimum height appears, then if the text is slightly shorter when placed in the browser which will result in the block of text shrink in height and below things moving upward and/or things that contain also shrink in height.

    (2) grouping use to create horizontal bands to your image buttons. Grouping in this way causes fluctuations in height or the position of the objects entirely above the band grouped to move all of the Strip facing upwards or downwards. Without such grouping that muse is biased towards the creation of columns such as something above to change the height only impact the position of the elements of (approximately) directly below.

    (3) be sure that header text frames do not overlap your buttons. If they do, they can move either vertically when no content above moves or they may change position without also changing the elements below them.

None of these answers is really specific to the Muse. When you work on the web text is online and how it sets out will vary from a browser. The structure of the generated (or hand coded) HTML needs to be informed as to how you want things to react when these changes occur. Muse does its best to automatically do the right thing, but cannot in all situations and not done as well as the information contained in the provided schema. If there is overlap involuntary or minimum text frame heights game, the layout is more likely to not respond as expected/desired when occur variations of page layout.

  • How to get the Social/Vimeo widget for the width and height of the scale?

I'm trying to get the Social/Vimeo widget proportion nationwide. For the moment, he played only in width but no height.

Once it hits a specific breakpoint that is fine, but once you go beyond this breakpoint it does not keep the correct proportion and so on and so forth.

I have 'Sensitive' width ' Resize' option, but ideally it should be 'sensitive width and height' but it is grayed out.

    Is there a solution?

Drag the Central background of the video object up so the framework encompassing is very short and release. (While you do this the width of the object should not change, just the height.) Once you release Muse will take your browser redraw the video. It will then be abruptly to the proportions of the video (and probably push other things you will need to then back manually to the desired gap distance).

What you did by dragging the shorter height and releasing was to set the minimum height for this object is very low. You should see a horizontal dotted line in the color of edges of framework that specifies the minimum height, you just put. Now that the video shrinks in width (and proportionately is shortened) the bounding box around it also will shorten (down to the minimum that you just put) and the following will be moving upwards to maintain the same distance from the gap of the video.

    Hello

I'm looking for a certain type of functionality within the Muse.
I had originally thought I could achieve this effect with an accordion but am a having no chance.

I want to have a page that is on a minimum height, but when the user triggers the content on the page, when that content grows, it will be of the page, the footer and all.

Does anyone know how I can go to achieve this kind of effect?

    Thank you

    M

    Hey M,

Unfortunately, this is the footer post-its where appeared the problem - the page will not push the footer down when the accordion expands. If you are willing to participate with the footer, this can be easily achieved with the Accordion widget. I'd also check places like Muse - Themes.com - Adobe Muse Templates | Widgets of Muse and Blog to see if there is a 3rd party widget that has this feature.
