Muse do not open, no error shown

My copy of Muse worked ok until the end of the day yesterday (17th), but when I went to start it today, nothing. It would not start and no error. I had a look in Event Viewer and saw an alert it. I contacted Adobe Support and after it troubleshooting with them for an hour and have logged on to my PC, we thought that we had fixed it.

Event Viewer listed a .dll file and I asked that if we should delete this. Support said the first attempt at creating a local user who had administrator rights and try this, that's what I did. It worked. I have connected the new profile and ran Muse. OK it came in fine. So then I went back to my main profile and brilliant, tried it worked. Pat on the back and a job well done.

After that support had gone I went and restarted my computer, just to clear things. Not a good idea as today Muse does not work yet. It works well under the local profile, but not my main. I thought that maybe it was connected to have connected the two accounts, opening and closing Muse under the local profile or running under the local profile. All made no difference.   I've added the Event Viewer log information below:

The only thing I can think is that we had a guy in the sort on our network and the profiles of the past few days and I wonder if it is linked to. Maybe a permission problem?

If the new user profile solves problems, so the maximum chances are matter of permission on the main user account.

Try to reset all the permissions and access to the main account, then check out.

    I just replaced my 9.5 Raw camera with Camera Raw 9.4, from this page:

    PS. along the way, I installed Camera Raw 8.3 (manual drag-and - déposer), in response to advice on a pretty old thread, and that worked as well.

    Please try after the sequence of steps to make it work.

    1. uninstall any version of AIR on your computer using the Adobe AIR * remove Adobe AIR

    2 uninstall Muse to your machine using cleaning tool CC use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    3 uninstall the applications Manager Adobe as well use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    4. install AIR runtime 19.0 https://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archived-air-sdk-version.html

    5. install the applications Manager Adobe Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Adobe Creative Cloud free trial

    5. once the MAO is installed then install muse and launch it.

  • Muse is not opening in Windows 10

    The last two days, Muse has not opened in Windows 10. Anyone else having issues?

    First thing I suggest you try is to reset the preferences of Muse and then try to run.

    To reset the preferences, go to the following location

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming

    Rename com.adobe. "AdobeMuseCC.2015.0" "com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2015.0_old" and rename "AdobeMuse" to "AdobeMuse_old"

    Now launch Muse and check if it crashes.

    If the problem persists Muse uninstall with creative Application of cloud (make sure you click 'Yes remove preferences' in the uninstall process) and reinstall it again.

    To uninstall the application go to the applications tab in CP App > hover over the application in the list > click the gear icon and select uninstall

    Hi - I have a problem, for some reason any does not open Adobe Muse - all that I get, it's the beginning of screen (see picture) then an error message asked I download a new version of the Application Manager (which I have repeatedly) but no effect?

    I deleted the folder OOBE - no effect, I've deleted and reinstalled Muse - no effect. The only change in the system since the running program is I downloaded CC Illustrator and Photoshop CC and installed Alien Skin exposure 7 and Intego Virus Barrier 10.8.5?

    I of course Web sites, that I need to work for any help with this problem would be welcome...

    Have you tried it on a new user account (user Admin).

    Sometimes this question can come because of the corruption of file/folder.

  • Windows 7 Audio Recorder program does not open. Error "Bad device ID or any recording device found...» ».

    Original title: can't get any audio recorder downloaded to work on my windows machine 7

    Recently bought a windows 7 and had my friend machine install windows 7 in there.  I tried to download several audio recorders in my machine, but continue to receive error messages when I open these programs indicating that the bad device ID nor no found recording device.  When I go to control panel-registration there is a microphone and an in-line icon, but nothing else.  It won't let me set up anything he comes.  I'm missing or overlooked something here?  Or do I need to install a sound card to make my downloaded recorders work?  Had an XP machine for 7 years which just crashed and burned two months back and am not true well educated in Windows 7 again!  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    Yes, you will need to install the audio drivers for any device you have.

    Re-post with the brand, the name and the exact model of your machine number. If he is the one who made starting from different parts, give sound card or card parent info.

    In case others encounter this problem:

    One of the files needs Muse to write to become read-only. To fix on a mac:

    In the finder, select go-> go to folder and enter "~ / Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.3/" (without the quotes, including the tilde). Once there, click on the file-> information, which shows the information dialog box. Bottom is a section titled "Sharing & Permissions" - click on the turn-down to display the section. It must be a table of users and privileges, so make sure that your username is listed. If it does not appear, make sure that the privileges are set to "read & write". If it is not listed, click on the small button "+" and add your user. Then set privileges to 'Read and write' as above. Once that is done, take the same steps on the "Local Store" folder that is located in the AdobeMuseCC2014.3 folder.

    Under Windows, paste "%appdata%/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.3/Local Store" in a window of the Explorer.  Right-click and select Properties. In the Properties window, make sure that the 'Read only' box is not checked. Then, go to the Security tab, make sure that your profile is in the "group or user names" section and that when your username is highlighted that the 'total control' is checked in the lower window. Do the same for the folder "Local Store" here as well.

    Once these permissions are set, this problem should be solved.

    I am a CC subscriber, I use Dreamweaver and Photoshop every day and open them without problem. I used Muse repeatedly, but not within the past few weeks.

    When I tried to open Muse this morning, I received this message:

    There is no other option except to try again (which gives the same dialog box), or to quit smoking.

    To the best of my knowledge, my subscription of the CC is up-to-date. All the other programs installed in CC open without problem. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Burchie, your files have not disappeared. The list is that the Welcome screen is simply that of files recently opened. The list has been taken when AdobeMuse of application preferences file has been deleted, but the .muse files are still on your computer (probably in the Documents folder). If you go to file > open, you should be able to find them.

    I've been using lightroom 4 during some time without problem now it used to open and 0xc0000078 error message appears. I reinstalled to rebbooted etc. I have installed version 3 and it worked when I upgraded the version 3 to 3.6 I've had the same problem.
