Music from my music library of windows can be added to my iPod classic

Just before I give up and get the CD out, please can someone tell me if it is possible to add music to my library of windows media player on my iPod classic?

ITunes Windows version (but not the Mac version) can convert WMA files to AAC format, as they are imported into your iTunes library.  Use you the file-> add to library command in the iTunes menu bar.  Songs must be unprotected (no); If you imported the origin of music CD, they shouldn't have any DRM.

12 iTunes for Windows: importing music and video already on your computer

Once they are in your iTunes (AAC format), these songs are like all the other songs in your iTunes library, and you can sync them to your iPod.

NOTE: The Conversion can reduce the sound quality (compared to a direct import in iTunes from the CD of original music).  The degree of reduction of the sound quality depends on the setting of the flow rate (Kbps) previous used for the music CD bit for WMA encoding process.

  • WMP 12 - music library on Windows Media Player questions

I see that many of them in the forum:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-pictures/how-do-i-stop-WMP-from-destroying-my-music-library/d4767d6b-BCFA-4AD0-b1ae-fe76a683cb4b

What is a good alternative to WMP for storage (cutting) and burning music (I like .wav or without loss, so what I have is as close as possible to what digital original CD quality). I use my PC as a failsafe to lose to say a fire all my CD do flow, but sometimes like to burn a CD for my taste with what's on WMP. And as for copy and paste my own choice of album art for a single copy of a song, or choose a different piece of album art for a CD, e.g. WMP also uses a generic image of "Blind Faith" from the album; I googled for the image of the 'Blind Faith' CD image gold OLA.

Bottom line is WMP either wants to stick his choice on what I choose, or finally the library seems to get corrupted. If I disable (uncheck) organize > Options > Library tab option: "Retrieve additional information for the Internet", WMP "sulking" and told me when I want to copy a CD again in the library (these are my own words, since I don't have a picture of the exact wording): «Can not help you get info for this rip of the CD to the library...» » !

It's as if WMP is said ' use what I want to see you, or your on your own boyfriend! "and then still too wants to write what he thinks I need. And the pop-up to the right click of "Find album Info" is about as useful for nothing - it's exactly, but cumbersome to change each song with info from the CD booklet.

You think after 20 years, there would be a way to do what the user wants to see, and then WMP could fill in the missing data.

Is there a free music, or even better cost store and burn the software product, which can take what I already have in my system Windows 7 WMP music folder, convert it with my album art to its library and give me more flexibility to store my music with the songs and album art I want, as well as all formats of music on there (or most popular as at least .wav .flac etc..)? At about 140 GB of music without loss on a disk as backup.

I'm old school and do not listen to music. I want my CD, with all the booklet (metadata not online) to manually but in a player, or make a CD to play with songs from my choice - what we used to call personal compilations on cassettes, cale-TI-in-your-hand - I heard laughter :) But there came a time records were all we had - and still my choice to use a physical product - not the cloud.

    Thank you, Grandpa

    Hi Jim...

I've read other reports here on the library constantly updated and also implement several entries, despite all the settings it seems to be correct. A poster has found that his update has disappeared when he took the photo library of wmp... I suspect that many library corruptions occur because not many people use wmp directly to view or manage their photos, so that the stuff gets moved around or changed in the library of the Explorer resulting in links to library wmp being broken.

Any questions on another multimedia player - another poster has been gratifying, and you seem to be happy about how to navigate between the rocks of the tp software so it might be worth - various links here...

Depending on how you have the music, another look review creates a new user account for your high quality music files. That's what I did. I keep all my music on an external hard drive hq to avoid cluttering up my internal HD..., and the music library links directly to that - not videos - no pictures other than a folder for album art. With wav files, we're pretty much stuck with the work that goes in when a cd is ripped, so I prefer to use wma lossless (my ageing ears cannot spot the difference!) allows me to control the metadata.

If I think of anything else I've seen on this topic, I'll post an update... A soon R.

  • Transfer pictures from email to library on Windows 8

you are trying to transfer photos from the email do not see a toolbar

Click (or touch) the setting of the picture, then choose "Save" and select your library of photos as the place you want to save it to.

If you are accustomed to using a different e-mail program, feel free to continue to use it on Windows 8.  For example, Microsoft makes even the Windows Essentials package that has the program Live Mail, which works fine on the desktop with a mouse.

  • moving from my document / library in windows 7?

does anyone know how to move the my documents / folders in library to another drive / partition from the rest of the operating system? for example with my installation of xp, I had xp on the c: drive and themselves e: drive my documents on a completely different HARD disk.

    phenom101

PS why didn't microsoft made easy as if it were in xp (I ran out of vista) where you clicked just the icon my documents on the desktop and moved to the location of the folder on the partition/drive nine.

    This should do it:

    1. create a new Documents folder on the disc/partition desired.
    2. move all the existing documents in the folder.
    3. Add the new folder to the document library.
    4. (optional) remove the old folder of the document library.

To add or remove a folder of the document library:

    1. click on start, type libraries in the search box and press ENTER.
2 right click on the document library, and then click Properties.

  • Music library ITunes stored on PC Windows XP

Description of the problem: I have my ITunes (12.3.3.17) music that is stored on a network of PC running Windows XP, I have a laptop running Windows 10 also on the network.

As my PC Windows XP does not recognize my IPOD Classic 160 gb I installed ITunes 12.3.3.17 on the cell phone of 10 windows, Run up ITunes on laptop computer attach the IPOD (the IPOD is recognized) and I can see all the Playlists and music on XP but cannot transfer iPod

The image above, this is what I see on Windows 10 laptop so as far as I understand that the network works fine, it's just that I can't transfer my music.

Can someone help please I've spent hours on it, it was simple in version 11

The latest version of iTunes that runs on Windows XP is iTunes 12.1.3.6.

It seems, from your screenshot, you access a shared library home. This can be used for playback but not as a source of media to copy on a device.

  • How can I turn on iCloud library music on my iPod Classic 180 GB

I have an iPod Classic 180 GB which I only use in the car.

When I try to transfer the Playlist of 'Music Apple' I get the following message

I can't find an option on my iPod Classic to turn on iCloud music library.

    If someone can advise?

I suspect that the answer will be that the iPod Classic doesn't support Apple's music

I'll be disappointed if I can't do it. Pay £15 a month for music from Apple, but not being is not able to use my iPod Classic in the car with her will suck...

Well, it's more fundamental than that... iPod classic doesn't have an Internet connection, so there is no way to access your music to iCloud library.  And it does not support downloads of music by Apple (song subscribed files you can download Music from Apple), because it can not verify your subscription (no Internet connection) as required by the content producers.  only iPod that can play songs music from Apple's iPod touch, because it is an iOS with Internet, like the iPhone and the iPad device.

  • After Update 9.2, I can't find the setting of music library to iCloud.

After Update 9.2 that I can't find the setting to turn on iCloud music library, besides I can't position to turn on the Apple music either.

If I went blind or where these settings removed?  I don't know why they would have been removed but I did look through everything in settings and can not find them. It drives me crazy. It existed before the update. I want to just turn it on so I can access my music to iCloud.

Does anyone know where the setting is?  Yes, I rebooted several times already.

  • Sync music Apple iPod Classic

Can I sync the songs from Apple's music that I put on my PC on my iPod Classic?

N ° downloads of Apple's music are written songs, not owned songs.  The device playing them requires an Internet connection to check the status of your subscription.  The only iPod with a (Wi - Fi) Internet connection is iPod touch.

  • Apple and iPod Classic music please help

    Hello

I have an iPod classic which I use for a number of speakers, I am owner and you use in my car.

I am able to download music from Apple's music in my iTunes and then sync with my iPod Classic? This will allow me to use Apple music with my iPod Classic?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Songs downloaded from the Apple music streaming service subscription have DRM (copy protection) which prevents loading on iPod (except iPod touch).  The computer or device must have an Internet connection to check your subscription music from Apple.
