  I see that you are having some problems, install the new graphics card. I did some research and discovered that the new graphics card requires a slot PCI Express 3.0, but the motherboard of your computer has only slots PCI Express 1.0. I've included the specifications for both below. It shows under the expansion for the motherboard slot, PCI Express x 16 and PCI Express x 1 which means that it is only 1.0. Unfortunately, this card is not compatible with your computer.

• New PNY Geforce GTX 780 does not leave my PC boot?

  Alrighty! So this is the second time around I upgraded my PC. My base model was a Pavilion p7 - 1127c (Canadian English). Before recently, I was running on a gtx 570 and a new diet to wear. Everything worked perfectly without any problems, and I decided to upgrade again. This time I pushed my RAM up to 16 gigs, got a new power supply 700W and the above gtx 780.

  However, I became frustrated, since, while the gtx is in my computer, I can't start after the HP splash screen, and I have the function keys, it brings me to the POST screen tell me about my features of the computer.  Sometimes lower right, it will add text telling me what I COULD have opened if the computer was not listening on. For example, if I hold f10 I think, it will say "boot menu" in the background, but nothing else changes and no windows open upward.

  I tried reseting the CMOS to remove the battery, flipping the switch, unplug, hold down the power button for 20 seconds, all in different combinations.

  I tried to take out the HARD drive and commissioning, without change.

  I tried to Exchange around the RAM and booting with only 1 location used and others.

  I tried to uninstall the graphics drivers and THEN start with the set 780.

  I tried updating my BIOS to the latest version with the HP site provides me with.

  I don't know what more can be done, and without the 780, all new parts that I got are completely meaningless.

  I don't need a psu of 700W to run a 570.

  (I also want to point out that the computer works perfectly again once the 780 is not installed).

  The 780 stills lights upward when it is powered.

  I'd appreciate any help I can get! Thank you

  After Effects uses your CPU and RAM mostly, not the GPU.

  You only need NVIDIA CUDA for one function: acceleration of 3D compositions plotted in the Department. Your most recent Maxwell NVIDIA GPU does not contain the necessary OptiX library for this function so ever, it won't work to accelerate traced to the radius of the 3D compositions. I'm sorry.

  The After Effects team no longer works on this feature, and suggests to use Cinema 4 d Lite (supplied) for your work in 3D instead. There are also some great third-party options to add 3D elements in After Effects as Invigorator Pro compositions and video Copilot 3D element.

  I put my workstation to level and consider buying a good quality graphics card which will be support smooth 1080 p videos Editing and some after effects rendering.

  I chose GTX 780 it but unfortunately in the list of compatibility provided by Adobe, only GTX 780 is supported. So if GTX 780 it is used, can I use the Mercury playback engine and take full advantage of the graphics card?

  Is also my correct selection? I was at first confused selection between Nvidia Quadro K4200 and GTX 780 Ti. I'm not going to use Maya or 3D Max. We use only Premiere Pro, After Effects, and sometimes Da Vinci resolve.

  It will be detected and it will work, but most of the time it will be inactive, because the rest of the system cannot feed fast enough with data to use its ability.  It is simply a waste of money with nothing to show for it performance wise. See Page Tweakers - balanced systems

  I recently updated my computer to accomondate my move to Adobe CC on PC:

  • 8.1 Windows 64-bit
  • Latest Nvidia drivers
  • Intel i7 4930 K @ 4.5 GHz
  • 2 Ti x 780 SLI GTX
  • 32 GB of RAM DDR3 2400 MHz
  • 2 x SSD Vertex 2 60 GB @ raid0

  When I went clips using mercury playback engine software only and Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA), the program features exactly the same thing and it takes the same time to do the rendering.

  Export a sequence of 6 minutes takes well over 2 hours to render - which of course is not normal.

  Is there a setting I'm missing?

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  I already changed the support.txt file for my Ti 780 to be supported by first pro cs5 but when rendered im a sequence GPU usage never exceeds 10%.

  Is this normal? I expect type of usage to 100% to make it together and to render times be greatly diminished?

  If this is not normal so what can I do about it?

  That power seems too low, but the PC came with a GTX 745 (OEM) that uses the same power that the GTX 750ti, yet when I check the specs on the site of GeForce, it says power to minimum power supply must be 300 w (for both 745 oem and 750 ti)...  So, I'm confused.

  My husband bought a HP PC, because I work for HP.  The Geforce GTX550ti card worked perfectly on the P6769 UK PC running Windows 7; He bought the new card GTX 970 but couldn't make it work with Windows 7, so decided to put the old card back in and install Windows 10 to see if that would solve the problem, which was not.   The NVIDIA GTX 970 will not work on your PC. Video in graphics card BIOS and the BIOS is your PC are not compatible.

  I suggest that you are looking for an old graphics like the NVIDIA GTX 660. I've used both the TI 550 and 660 and the 660 is a far superior graphics card.

  I am in the final stages of construction of a PC workstation for creation, still and video image. I have two GTX 780 GPU and they will be installed in/on an ASUS X 99 Deluxe Motherboard. Can someone tell if it is possible to efficiently run two such GPU under first or AE? I guess that for purposes of exposure with the connected monitors and the other for the treatment only?

  If possible, is there software owners out there that would allow me to create this configuration?

  I guess that the SLI would be useless.

  I'm running CS6 on a Windows machine, and it does not appear that Premiere Pro using my GTX 780 during playback or record.  When I go into "Project Settings", the rendering option is grayed out.  Is it really possible that PP does not support this gpu?  Or have I missed some crucial parameter?
