  It's pretty lame to say that one can use JPEG instead.  Apart from the technical arguments about issues like the trend, it takes up to the user to select the file format that they need for their own purposes.  General-purpose image processing tools should support as many formats as possible and there is no technical excuse for failing to support a non-owner format that is widely used.   Arguing that there are alternatives, it's like telling a painter 'orange' is not necessary since you can use red or white blend Brown, or as a set of professional without Phillips head screwdrivers.

  If you want the arguments for the use of the PNG in the first place, I suggest searching for "Why use the PNG format.

• Problems with my sound doesn't play not even though the settings say that the audio does not work properly

  recently I went on vacation... sound computer works very well before I left. Came back, and now the sound does not work.  I checked all the settings and it says everything is working. I've done some research and there was only one window to come when I rebooted that says a file with the extension dll is not found.  So I restored by computer back to before I left on vacation, but still no sound.  No pop up with the dll is not found though.  I went in the "maintenance" section and found it seems to be a few questions audio below is the scheme which is the filler.   Thank you very much!   At your suggestion, I've selected out, burn to disc, DVD.  A window shows requiring Save have *.wmv.  OK, reluctantly saves.  Automatically opens first.  Preview has no audio.

  Instead of burning to disc, I chose Edit in first.  The preview has the video and audio.  Engraving option asked under wmv.  BUT by selecting the tab burn, then disc, dvd, part took place smoothly and dvd resulting contains actually the audio and the video.  Yes!

  She should not be incompatible and hard, but I could never have succeeded without help.

  I have AVCHD clips in a project. When I bring an element in the timeline, the audio track is not there. Audio does not appear in the monitor Source, either. I am able to play the clips on the outside of the first and audio is fine. When I right click on a file to view its properties, it lists no audio. I brought the same clips in first on another computer and the audio seems in good condition. I compared the settings on both computers and everything is the same. Pretty amazing things

  Clear all the cache preferences including these media:

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache

  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache files

  Rename folder that image is and try again.

  Make sure that the card is copied to the hard drive first.

  But im getting a huge problem here, my video works but my audio does not work I can not hear audio at all... I tried to import the audio into mp3, mp4 and wav format but no solution I am facing the same problem. But outside the CS4 audio exhibit very fine, I even used many device to test audio everywhere as the audio works fine... and my hardware (Sound) system are up-to-date.

  That AE can do for you, it's literally a RAM Preview. You can just use space because only you will get a preview of the video. A preview rather RAM to hear the audio. In the Preview Panel, there is a checkbox indicating "to present" check that so that when you do a RAM preview it would start the wherever is your current-time indicator. Just so place a second or two before are to be synchronized.

  First of all, make sure that the Windows audio service is running on the computer.

  a. open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.
  b. double-click on Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  c. right click on Windows Audio serviceand then click Properties.
  d. under the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
  e. also make sure that the service is started

  Method 2:

  If there is still no sound after you enable the Windows audio service, then check out the link below and run the troubleshooter and check if it works.

• Audio is not synchronized with the video in Encore

  When I try to create a Blu - ray disc in Encore, with files mp4 that were imported in the timeline, the audio is not synchronized with the video.  These same files are fine when I import them and create a DVD with still.  I tried to convert the files with Adobe Encoder, but that does not work.  I tried their conversion to "high quality, even as attributes Original 720 x 480.  Mp4 files are which have been digitised in iMovie VHS tapes.  These files to play correctly in all other circumstances.  Does anyone know the settings I need to set to make these files to play properly when you try to import them in again to ensure their conservation in Blu - ray?  I have over 300 converted videos and I will not be able to detach the audio from the video and try to slide things around them to match for each video.  I guess that there must be a simpler solution.

  We don't know what audio specifications are in mp4. Still prefer active already demuxed import (m4v and wav or a3c). Otherwise, he must separate the flow before Remultiplexage in the m2ts file.
