My Bookmark menus started zoom

This morning, I downloaded an update for Adobe, which may or may not be relevant.

I use Windows 7 and 18 of Firefox. I had a bookmarks bar at the top of my browser window which I use, but today it suddenly started to magnifying glass and/or of the tabs displayed by the slider show the reflection of the page. I'm totally stumped

Hello moneypenny2k, please try to disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > General and see if that makes a difference...

    Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

    You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

    I am having trouble with your question. Usually, when you save a bookmark to the bookmarks toolbar, it has title icon and too long. The title can be abbreviated into nothing.

    Try this. Open the palette to customize via the 3 - bar button and right down at the bottom under the control of Mode "icons and text" are selected.

  • Why my dropdown lists (ESP. Bookmarks) are all "wobbly" when I try to use

    When I try to use (for example) the list of bookmarks, the type, size, etc. of the bookmark files start suddenly change - is very small, very large etc. Then, when I can finally click on a folder bookmark names go in the same way and when I can get them to appear in normal font only some of them actually appear in the list of "subsidiary". What happens here?

    I use Windows 7.

    Could this be a result of malware interfering with the program?

    There is probably a problem with your installation of Firefox. The details of your system seems very slight. You can start by giving us the troubleshooting information in the installation of Firefox that has problems. It is an essential step in troubleshooting.

    • Click on the Firefox button in the top left, then click on the help menu and select troubleshooting information in the submenu. If you do not have a Firefox button, click Help on the top menu and select troubleshooting information in the menu.

    Now, should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

    • At the top of the page, you should see a button that says "copy the text to the Clipboard. Until it clicks.
    • Now, go back to your post on the forum and click inside the box to answer. Press Ctrl + V to paste all of the information that you copied in the post on the forum.
  • How can I remove long lists of old bookmarks?

    For more than a year now, I created my favorite html files in Firefox since my main PC and then copied them into my portable version of Firefox. I thought that would just add rewrite the old favorites, but I see now, it's just for the old bookmarks. I tried to remove the old favorites one at a time, but that takes forever and it won't delete of large collections of bookmarks in the old bookmark menus.

        How do I delete most or all of my old bookmarks (now hundreds) on my laptop, so I can add the new bookmarks from my main PC?

    Many users will have hundreds or thousands of bookmarks. Note the Firefox bookmarks library may use nested folders.

    If you import the bookmarks HTML they get added at the end of your bookmarks, possibly in a folder. You can mark some multiple bookmarks or even folders and delete or copy. You may find more just put the old bookmarks in a folder where you need it. If you remove most of them may be, it is easier-just select the desired bookmarks by using Ctrl + left click and copy to a folder and then delete the rest. Note Ctrl + A to select all bookmarks in a pane, including those scrolls off the screen. Just a warning, sometimes firefox can be quite slow with large spots on the bookmarks.

    You will find may be wise to make backups of type the.json while you work with your bookmarks so that you can go back if something goes wrong. Restorations of type care note .json crash your existing bookmarks. (type .json have more features: tags, keywords and a folder structure)

    Note it is also possible to automatically synchronize bookmarks between devices.

  • Add the new entry name of folder of bookmarks does not

    (There's a reason I'm fool the previous thread on this subject, as well as my response to this: I couldn't find a way to add FireFox 10.0.2 to the tags of the thread.) If the thread tags may be edited/added, I wouldn't highlight problems with FireFox 10.0.2 by launching this new thread.)
    RE add new bookmarks folder, can not enter the name of the new folder:

    I am now having this problem with FireFox 10.0.2, 11/03/2012

    When I click on add a folder, a new folder appears in the tree view and the folder name field is highlighted for the entry. But when I start to type characters in the field, I can only type 1 or 2 characters at the most seized stops accept input. I then go to the bookmarks menu, locate the new folder, right-click it, click Properties and complete the registration of the name of the folder.

    At worst, the folder name field will cease to accept entry as soon as I type the first tank, in which case the name of the folder will remain as "new folder." I find the new folder in the bookmarks menu to change the name, as described above.

    It is very annoying because it adds a number of additional steps just to add a new folder in the bookmarks menu. Add the new folder through the "Show all bookmarks" and navigate through the folder hierarchy are an alternative workaround, but that records all the steps.

    Any ideas or solutions?

    Hi John99,
    It has worked well in Mode without failure. Thanks for the suggestion!

    I'm going offline a bit to understand what add-on, plugin, etc., could be causing it. In the meantime, I have marked your suggestion to use Mode safe as useful so that anyone else coming here could get the clue.

    I should probably drop another line in the thread for the guy who in (or has been) using FireFox 7...

    I'll post my results if I can understand it.

    UPDATE:

    I went after any add-on which had nothing to do with bookmarks.

    It was the first add-on I tried, SortPlaces 1.9.1 that automatically sorts bookmarks in various ways according to the parameters. When I disabled it, the problem disappeared.

    I re-enabled it and checked the options to see if I could understand why she was stop to add the new folder. In the 'Options' tab, there is a time limit for how long interval SortPlaces will wait before you sort a bookmark changed or added. It was set to 3 seconds.

    It is not long enough for old men by typing the new name of folder. I put it in 10 seconds. Then, I created a new folder of bookmarks and start typing a name long nonsense, while I looked at the clock. After that 10 seconds it stopped accepting the entrance, right on the mark. What this hidden for me earlier, it was that when he stops to accept input, you don't see the new folder to place in the position of sorting on the menu add a folder. You will see that if you expand the folder later. It's probably why I didn't connect the two.

    Anyway, problem solved. I'm leaving the delay to 10 seconds. If I ever need to be longer, I'll just increase it.

    Thanks again for the suggestion of Mode safe and enjoy the next season of mud.

    OK, I loaded Firefox 3.6.9. I have a click right and removed the three buttons on the bar 'start '. Now I have a white bar wasting screen space. How can I remove it?

    Bar from the top (colored with Firefox icon) = the title bar

    2nd bar (File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, help) = the Menu bar

    3 bar (front/back, reload, home, etc., URL bar, search bar) = the Navigation bar

    4 bar (most visited, recently updated bookmark, Get Started and other) = Bookmarks Toolbar

    Follow these instructions and see if this bar disappears:

    To hide the toolbar bookmarks in the Firefox menu, click view, click to uncheck bookmarks toolbar.

  • GoTo PDF named destination link with the current zoom level

    Hello

    I created the PDF file of 3B2 software with a lot of links and bookmarks, links with documents created with the bookmark named destination names.

    When I click the link to navigate the document with, it will be the location of the bookmark goto and zoom level will be changed to "ADJUST to WIDTH" but I want to go through the document with the current zoom level from the link where I clicked.

    For this process, I tried a method which is javascript in link action.

    Using the properties of the links of

    Action-> Add Action-> Action of selection (running Javascript)

    Script

    main()

    main() function

    {

    Zoom var = this.zoom;

    This.gotonameddest ("BK1");

    This.zoom = zoom;

    }

    By this method, I get what I'm looking for, but I'm having a problem.

    First I'll goto who book a page marked with and after that only it fits its current zoom level, so when I go to previous view it will be zoom goback "ADJUST to WIDTH" level, if this method does not.

    And also I am not able to change all the links in my PDF document by manually.

    So please advice me which is just way to browse the document with the link current zoom level where I clicked.

    Note:

    The output PDF document will contain 100 number of links, so I want to update all the links with my requirement by automation.

    Is there a way to manage this process by Acrobat SDK with c#, .NET

  • 9 meadow, zoom on a clip?

    IM as a video and I want to make the video start zoomed in and she progresses, to zoom out. I know the zoom on the effect, but it's still the same for the entire clip (no movement). I already have a top transition, so I can't use the zoom transition. are there other methods to do the PrE 9?

    Of course! It is called motion path keyframing.

    I'll devote a chapter in my book to it, step by step. But you can also learn how do by downloading the PDF free "basic Keyframing' of http://Muvipix.com.

    Just go type 'base keyframing' in the area of product search on the homepage to find.

  • Extract Pages by Sub bookmarks for number of Pages

    I have a script that will check the document to the bookmark page.

    I need to modify the script to retrieve the number of pages of bookmark for nEnd.

    nEnd will be the LAST void / bookmark to start which is the first bookmark.

    Script as follows:

    If (this.bookmarkRoot.children! = null)

    {

    for (var i = 0; i < this.bookmarkRoot.children.length; i ++)
    for (var j = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i].children.length - 1; j > = 0; j-)
    {

    var bm = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .execute ();
    BMS var = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] [j] .children .execute (); \ this part does not work for nEnd
    var bmname = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .name;

    this.extractPages ({nStart:bm + this.pageNum ++ nEnd:bms + this.pageNum ++, cPath: "/ C/Temp /" + bmname + ".pdf" "});

    }

    }

    Any help will be most appreciated, thank you.

    OK, you must collect the page numbers that bookmarks stand separately, if you look at the last bookmark under, then you don't need the inner loop

    How about this.

    for (var i = 0; i)< this.bookmarkroot.children.length;="">

    {

    this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .execute ();

    var start = this.pageNum;

    var nEnd = start;

    If (this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] .children)

    {/ / Only look for the end if there are bookmarks}

    var nLastSub = this.bookmarkRoot.children [i].children.length - 1;

    this.bookmarkRoot.children [i] [nLastSub] .children .execute ();

    nEnd = this.pageNum;

    }

    this.extractPages ({nStart:nStart, nEnd:nEnd,...});})

    }
