• Dictionary widget no longer works

  The Dictionary widget no longer works after upgrade to "Sierra". It is extremely annoying, since I am a professional translator and use this widget all the time. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?

  Ran into the same issue. It seems that Sierra is not any dictionaries installed. Start the Dictionary application and download the dictionaries that it provides. Once completed restart your machine or simply kill the process dashboard. The Dictionary widget will be fully functional.

• Third party contact form widget no longer works with the update - PHP errors

  PHP seems to be even more screwed up with the last update/upgrade to Muse.  The previous update has started producing the following error message when I transferred my site via FTP:

  'Impossible 1 WARNING - connection to a PHP file. Failed to check if the web server supports PHP required by forms of the Muse. Remember the domain name entered in the dialog FTP download is correct. »

  However, everything worked, and by participating in some queries here, it seemed like a curiosity about something serious (stuff still worked but an error message popped up for no discernable reason)

  Since the last update, however, widgets that I have two different companies for the purpose of emailing me through the Web site, send messages, etc., are no longer works and the following message appears to hit 'submit '.

  "PHP script form is missing from web server or PHP is not properly configured on your web hosting provider. Check if the form PHP script has been downloaded correctly, contact your host about the configuration of PHP. »

• Reducible, text box widget no longer works in accordion panels.

  The foldable Muse themes text box widget does more work in accordion panels in the latest version of Muse.

  I have a site to build from last year that is published and the foldable boxes 'read more' work very well.

  I update this site and the collapsible text boxes do not work.  The customer isn't happy and I am looking at hours of unpaid work to rebuild or copy the new text and assets in the former code.

  I need another solution for the Muse collapsible text boxes.

  Seems that the folks at instagram changed their API Developer June 1, 2016 and now the Qooqee Instagram widget does not work. Qooqee does not appear to offer their Instagram widget, even if the Adobe forums yet all lead me.

  I suggest you contact the widget developers to ensure that their widget is compatible with the latest version of Muse.

• Browser homepage no longer works in firefox. It works in internet explore. What could be the problem?

  When I connect start page in firefox and type "gmail" it gives me just a blank page. But startpage works in internet explore. What could be the problem.

  You click on the first link to open it in a new tab. All very well.
  You click on a second link and get a blank page.

  Please post the search link that the page starts by themselves.

• widgets, apps not working not not in muse

  I have the latest version of Muse.  I have an account with Muse-themes.  I love their product; However, with the help of a widget is often hit and Miss.  It seems that Muse has a mind of its own.  Sometimes, I add a widget (i.e. MP3 player) and it works just great.  Then I wen to edit the widget and I get that symbol of warning of hell.  The widget no longer works. I remove it and re add it and nope, not working.  I even have one until the MAC restarts and the Muse, delete the widget library, download it again, install it, create a site empty and no it doesn't work anymore.  Don't understand the guy from Muse-theme or another.  Their support is in email and I get standardized answers which is something that I've tried.   I have other issues with muse as well.  I saw the site in a local browser, but after I publish it online there all the children questions such as dynamic boxes does not have 100% width, touch scrolling causes the site in a cell or a tablet to start to behave erratically, such as zooming out of control etc.  Design, fashion, if I click on an adjustment as kerning and press the small arrow at top or down values and I hold for more than 3 seconds, Muse seems to block the click and the custom drop until the maxs app on or crashes.  The same goes for click hold and drag the top or bottom of the screen.  If I hold it for more than 3 seconds, you are finished.  Wait until the application stops on its own, or crashes.  I also had many unexpected demand to close the errors.

  This is a new iMac 27 i7 Intell, 32 GB of ram and 2 GB of video. HHD of fusion.

  I did install a lot but the come along applications and adobe products.

  Any help is welcome at all seriously.  I spend time generating valuable revenue, fixing things that should work and cannot load my customers for my time. Argh!

  I understand that you are getting the error documents. Library-ms' no longer works, when you try to access the files in the file Explorer.

  You can try the following method and check if that helps resolve the issue.

  Method 1: delete the document library.

  a. press the Windows key + E from the start screen.

  b. click on document library.

  c. Select Remove.

  d. click on Yes when it asks confirmation.

  Note: deleting of a library does not delete the contents of the included folders. However, you need to add or include your folders manually, if necessary.

  Method 2: you can follow the procedure to restore libraries.

  a. press the Windows key + E.

  b. right-click on the library.

  c. click on restore default library.

  Try the keyboard on another Mac or PC. If it still fails, you know the keyboard is broken. You can also try the keyboard when it is started in recovery as a basic test mode. That will tell you if the keyboard works well when a single copy of the operating system is running without all your installed applications.

  Select the option to browse the web to try the keyboard in Safari in recovery mode.

  If the device is 2010, you should seek to buy a new device, otherwise if it is new & still in warranty, return it to the store or the manufacturer.

• Script no longer works when I remove beep

  I am trying to create a script that will get the number of words in a Pages document, and then save in a Numbers spreadsheet. I am a novice coder and until about 6 hours ago, I got this script, I had never even heard of Applescript. But with trial and error, I came up with this script to display the number of words in my document:

  beep

  say application 'Pages '.

  (I posted only myCount to make sure it works, ultimately, it will not display). This script was working fine so I started on the part that would put the number of words in the worksheet. I have made good progress on this front, I noticed a really annoying problem with the above code. When I was working on this part I put a bunch of beeps at different points that I would like to know when the code stopped working. I deleted most of them, once I knew that the code worked and I was ready to move on to the next part. But when I tried to delete one of the beeps (the only one left in the code that I put in this post), the script no longer works. I get this error in script, emphasizing "word count":

  Pages has been an error: failed to get document 1. Invalid index.

  It did not make sense to me so I checked over and over again to make sure that I had not deleted anything else, but it was just the beep. When I put the beep back in at exactly the same place the script developed, when I pulled it again I got the error. Even with my extremely limited experience I am sure that something is wrong and my coding script should not to beep to run. I looked through the internet to see if anyone else has had this problem and found nothing, so I started to browse all the posts here the applescript, and I saw someone ask if error a poster that's happened on the compiling or running. I know type of compilation of what means but I do not know how it is applied to the script editor. I guess this is what happens when I press on save and the light purple text gets formatted with 'say' in "BOLD", "application" in Blue italic and so on. I don't get the error, then, it happens when I run. Sometimes when I run the script with the beep I always get the message, so I think that there could be something wrong with the way I count the words (if you know it please report it), happened only 5% of the time that I run with beep. And it happens 100% of the time when beeping is not there.

  Here are the things I've tried (none of them worked):

  -copy and paste the code without the beep in a new document from the script editor

  -Retype the code without the beep in a new document from the script editor (I got the same error but when I added in the beep it worked)

  -restart script editor and pages

  -restarting my laptop

  -Commenting on the beep

  -replacement of tone with screen of dialogue ("Hello world!")     the dialog box display worked, but after I clicked OK in the dialog box the script stopped running, and I got the same error

  -remove the beep and but leaving empty line

  -remove the beep and the empty line

  -change slightly the other parts of the code as a substitute "document before closing" by "quit".

  a lot of these I didn't work, I was just desperate. I also didn't expect the success of my script a beep. I feel like script editor knows I'm brand new to this and so he's trying to trick me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if you know other ways I could improve this code, I'm all ears. Thank you!

  Also I just got this new laptop as a week ago, so I don't think that this problem is related to my software is obsolete.

  When I tried cela it is line 3 that caused the problem; It should read

• Bookmark no longer works.

• Shortcut keyboard 'Mark as unread' in the Mail no longer works and performs a completely different action instead.

  I get a lot of spam and incongruous emails, most of which don't deserve to be read. I ususally just select all and press "cmd + shift + U" to mark all read or not read. Suddenly, I noticed that this shortcut no longer works for me and even though it is a very minor problem, it is kind of annoying and I'd love to fix it.

  Basically, when I press "cmd + shift + u" now, he is not mark as read – instead it brings up a finder window with the option "open" files (the same window that appears when you click the paper clip in a new email to browse attachments), and I have no idea why!

  In Mail the shortcut should be the same, it is said it is the same shortcut in the drop-down menu, and I have not changed anything. I don't know what the finder window that appears is for, if I actually use it to open a file and then disappears from the window but nothing of actually opens or is happening. What's weird, is that when you use the shortcut to "mark as unread" and the finder window appears, it actually becomes the selected window - mail is still selected. And, therefore, this means that if you continue to press the shortcut to "mark as unread", it will be permanently open these "File Explorer" finder windows... which I've never seen elsewhere.

  Anyone who has a solution?

  

  So much worse... After weeks of being confused, that just now, I realize what the problem was.

  I installed the Puush application to quickly download screen shots and files... and guess what it was shortened by default for the "upload file"...

  Problem solved.
