  My computer has crashed, thought it was the hd but I managed to slave hd on another computer. I prefer just to buy a new larger hd anyway, but would like to slave of my old one.

  In my view, that the windows op sys is damaged on the old hd.

  Of course, my computer came not with xp discs. So I don't have those. How can I do to get the copy of replacement of XP to install on the new hd.  I have another copy of windows, but it is portable gateway to my computer and wouldn't be legal on the model of HP.

  Is it possible to pull the info on my player enslaved while he is in another computer as a slave.

  Mechanically, I can do anything on my computer, but the software is another story.

  If the cd entry door is a regular XP cd (as they are generally), you can use on the 750n and use your license key from the sticker on your pc to activate.

  It is a disc of 7200 RPM of 500 gigabytes for under $ 50. It is almost as fast as any hard drive mechanical regular, you can buy. I suspect it's bigger than the original. You may spend more to get a 750 gig or a 1 to, but it looks like you don't need large capacity. This one is 7 mm (ultraslim) but will always be adapted to your caddy. SATA connectors and mounting holes are in the same place as your original drive. I believe your original drive has a plastic on the SATA connections connector and you must reuse to connect the drive to the motherboard.

  having been informed by HP suport, that there is no compatibility and none is available for a reader of sd card on my model # p7 - 1436 s that came with win 8 but was down ranked at point of purchase for win 7 pro 64-bit.  computer works CAD - CAM systems and must be in the format win 7, but there seems to be no pilot cross on the sd card reader.  CPU sees the card but do not charge card information or even show it in the icon drop-down computer showing what is in the processor.

  SD card works perfectly in another cpu, so the problem is in mine.

  I understand that you are having problems for your card reader to work in Windows 7. The card reader part number 644491-001 is used in more than 200 computers of HP Desktop running the Windows 7 operating system and more. I don't see not all pilots on all systems so I'm assuming it uses the default Windows drivers. As it does not appear on your system is running Windows 7, I will assume that it is related to a Windows 7 problem that a drive letter is not assigned to external storage devices.  I provided you with some steps to try to solve this problem for your below:

  Step 1. Click Start

  Step 2. Click on Control Panel

  Step 3. Click on Administrative Tools

  Step 4. Click on computer management

  Step 5. Click on disk management

  If he has not seen here, go to 'Action' in the menu bar, click on "Scan drives" and it should come

  If it does not have a drive letter assigned? If this isn't the case, follow the instructions below:

  Step 1. Right click on the removable drive

I'm going to the HD format and install a fresh and activated win version. 7 ultimate. My question is: although I found most, if not all the necessary drivers listed in the "Download drivers" section, I want to know for sure if there is a conflict with the drivers in the new operating system?   I have a dv6700 (dv6810us) and run W7 x 64 on it very well.

  The only thing I can't confirm works is the microphone and webcam.  My dv6700 does not have a webcam and I have never tested the microphone.

  Most of the Vista drivers will work on W7.

• Cannot install the driver for Pavilion-dv6-Wireless-Network-Adapter-Drivers

  So I just install a new copy of Win7 Ultimate 64-bit version and I'm having the hardest time for an installation driver for the wireless network card.

  I was download the map and try to install at least 5/6 times but it will not yet appear in my device manager, or I am able to turn on the radio/satellite icon in my keyboard to turn on the wireless adapter.
