My clock is always a houre in advance.

I seem to have a problem with my clock, it's always one hour ahead.  I have reset the clock and it works for about three days that goes back to ancient times.  It has always been like that since I was the computer. Any info is always appreciated.   Should I be contact Dell for this problem?

Exactly one hour? No, you don't need to contact Dell; There are
nothing wrong with your computer. You're just ready for the wrong time

the task bar, choose "Adjust date/time", then choose "edit time".

How can I fix the clock, I live hour Central U.S., but in order to have the time just on the computer I use PST U.S.? Suppose I know basically nothing to the computer, so a simple solution. HA.

Click on the date and time the notification (lower-right) area, and then select 'change settings of date and time... '. ». On the Date and time window that opens go to the time tab, click "Edit settings", then click on "update now". Make sure that the option "Synchronize with an internet time server" is active. If you get an error message select another server in the list and click 'update now' once again

Additionally, make sure that you have installed all Windows updates. Open Control Panel, go to system and security > Windows Update and click "find updates". Install updates if they are available, and restart your PC.

  • my pc clock keep time in hours and minutes. The box is checked to address the DST. What else could be?

I have windows xp.  My clock keeps losing time in minutes.  I continue to challenge and continues to waste time.  I know that this is not because of the DST.  I have the box checked to change daylight saving time.  I've updated.  Nothing works.

There are a few solutions in the thread above, most saying that your battery needs to be replaced.

  • How do you do the clock and always visible date in windows 8?

    Hello

On operating systems earlier, the date and the clock would be in the lower right.  The new windows 8 only, not to the date and the clock displayed for a bit.  I have to have the date and clock show at all times when I'm on the computer.  Weather in websites or otherwise.  I searched some topics and doesn't seem to be a solution.

I must have, if this isn't an option, then someone at Microsoft windows needs to understand this.

    Thank you.

    Hi Carmen,.

Unfortunately, that option is not possible because it is designed in this way.

  • Pavillion dv 5: sink clock

I upgraded my OS from vista to windows 7

I get a constant problem with the clock not being is not sincronized after laptop ristart

I changed the primari battery (CR2032) and clean the seat of it but when I turn off and ristart the clock is always up to date

How can I solve the problem?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hello

    Try the following.

    Shut down the laptop.

Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery lithium-ion main books ( not the CR2032 ).  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Tap away at the esc you key start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Select the option in the Bios ( f10 ).

You should see that the first field highlighted is the time value - set this to the correct time by using f5 and f6 (f5 will reduce the number & f6 it will increase).  When it is correct, press ENTER to highlight the Minute field and again, use f5 & f6 to set the correct minutes.

When finished, press the arrow down to select the first Date field.  This should be for the month, so using f5 & f6 to enter the correct value.

Press Enter to highlight the field day and this, and then press ENTER to highlight the year field and then set this.

If you are happy with the settings of Date and time, press f10 and press ENTER to save the settings and exit the bios.

Let windows load completely.  If the Date and time correct does not appear, go to the control panel and set the Date and time correct here.

Restart computer and check if this has fixed the problem.

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Spinning clock problem

Here, I had a problem relates to a spinning clock that always appears when I lock the keyboard.

When I bought the first of all, it was not.

I thought that may be due to some applications that I installed, but I have not installed these heavy applications. My 9700 memory is always around 88 mb. and I uninstalled for some of them.

I just did a battery pull, but still it does not get rid of the spinning clock

  • Why the clock on my calendar seems to be working at the time of the West Coast, while my ThunderBird is defined and works well at the time of the coast is?

    Ladies and gentlemen:

I recently started using Calendar add-on to Thunderbird. My test event entered okay. But, my invite showed up on my colleague's PC with meeting time 3 hours late. That is, my meeting time is 11:00 Eastern time. But, he got the time as 14:00 which was 11:00 West coast time. I checked my "Calendar" tab view. There is a tell-tale sign that a red horizontal line that appears to follow my PC's real time clock but lagging 3 hours behind. So far, I could not find how to synchronize them.

My PC was used on the West coast for several years before I brought it to the East coast a few months ago. Since then, my Thunderbird appears to run fine with the clock setting changed to the East coast time zone. Could there be any kind of memory somewhere that took my numerical 11:00, but recorded it by tagging as a West coast time zone entry?

    Abe (2015-10-11 11:54)

Make sure that you do not have the correct time zone set lightning (calendar).

In the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button > Options > Options > calendar > general tab > zone
