my computer takes forever to load

original title: loading

my computer takes forever to load, it did not have it an hour ago. And a message pops up saying something about the script to stop work or something like that. Just started this about 45 minutes ago. What can I do to fix this? I have to reset if the manufacturer or what? Help, please

Hello

try a restore of the system before this happened

http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

If necessary do in safe mode

Windows Vista

Using the F8 method:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
  3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
  4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
  5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
  6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

________________________________________________________________

If you ever have to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

    Hello!

Since yesterday, I have this problem: when I open computer, the green bar at the top starts to load, there are magnifiers on computer, libraries and Favorites in the left pane and nothing appears in the main pane of Solution Explorer. If I manually navigate to any folder by typing the address, it takes me to this folder, but there is no icons for the files or folders. Although, they open as expected, may be renamed etc., but right click on explore crashes. The desktop icons, menu start and see the control panel correctly.

No recent program has been installed. Before this problem occurred I accessed a suspicious Web page (from a USB key), but...

I scanned with Malwarebytes, Spybot, ESET, ran ChkDsk, sfc/scannow.

They have all found nothing except the sfc found 2 corrupt files that could not be repaired.

Important the fact is that in Safe Mode, I have the same problem!

Correction, I had a virus, but it wasn't the problem.

I reinstalled windows and all programs, one by one and that the problem was back, but now I now why! The problem occurred after installing Acronis True Image 2013, because I have disabled its services to run automatically. It seems that Acronis is not like that... and he wants to force me unnecessary services running, most of the time. After you have enabled services, the problem disappeared. :) Good to know!

I have 3 year, acer aspire 3100 it seems to be well but the videos take forever to load and just flash player keeps crashing. What can I do to fix this?

Part of the problem is that your PC is a laptop 3 year old. I suggest get some RAM better and uninstall programs that take up a lot of space. If you use a bulky antivirus, try using MSE.

Second, try to visit the macromedia flash management page and delete the cache of the pages by pressing 'delete all sites '.
You can also try to re - install all the plugins.

  • Computer crashes constantly and now videos take forever to load and play.

When I look at where they come from, my computer hangs like a madman and half the time, I just videos, case is not giving up the video.  My computer freezes constantly, and yet everything is updated and functioning.  I could be reading a news article and all of a sudden the whole system goes black and white and then after about 30 seconds the computer turns off.  I cleaned it with canned air and everything recommended.  Can I go back to Windows 8 and abandon 8.1?  I need assistance with these issues and in other words please.  Why this keep happening?  What are the viable alternatives are there for all these problems?  Nothing started happening until my computer updated automatically with 8.1 and now has been a year of nightmares constantly.  Help, please.

    Helpless and needs fixing

I'm no expert, but I think that there is a problem with the Windows updates for 8.1 and HP desktop computers, dragged my mouse, its has been staticy with snoring and crackling and video would freeze intermittently. What finally fixed my machine was a complete restoration and blocking the windows updates. Now my machine is perfect except for the fact that the heartbeat sounds terrible. The beats are working fine now, they sound just terrible.

  • Tecra S1: It takes forever to load Desktop

    Hello!

We use a couple of Tecra S1 laptop computers with Win XP Pro SP2 in a domain of Win2k3 server.

Whenever stop us them in the field and later light them all being * not * connected to the domain, we always connect with our domain logon data. In this case, it takes about 2-3 minutes for Win XP to load the desktop (icons, taskbar, etc.). The background image is displayed in a moment, but the rest...

When you connect while being connected to the domain, the desktop appears in a few seconds.

We used to work in this way with our portable previous and had no problems in that direction.

Any suggestions? 2-3 minutes are really annoying.

    See you soon,.

    Hi Lutz

It is a good question for a network administrator. According to me, this question only has very little with laptop comes with all network services that run at the start of the process.

I use my computer at the office and sometimes at home. In the office, the connection process is much faster at home, but I can live with that. Now, if I use the laptop at home I use the hibernation process if I do a brake.

  • Computer takes forever to start (windows 8)

Until recently my phone has taken an hour or more at the start (and I'm pretty sure it takes a lot of time to stop but that doesn't bother me). When I hit the power button / I hear the fan or something when I put my ear close by, but all lights only stays on for a few seconds and then I don't hear it anymore. My computer will simply if sit like a black screen... as the monitor is asleep or something, suspecting he was asleep I tried to hit the SPACEBAR several times to wake up but no it doesn't. . After what seems like years, I finally see the lenovo loading screen and it starts up fast from there. I tried to run ccleaner, tried to make a record of cleaning / optimization, I scanned for virus/malware, I fiddled around in the boot parameters by running 'msconfig', disabled some startup programs and nothing I tried worked even. I go GeekSquad.com and they tried to help me remotely and they said that "it seemed that I just needed a good tuneup", so if any of you know what they do to optimizations that could be useful and I can try to do it myself.

When I go on the start with Ctrl Alt Del menu it says my last time of bios is about 2.8 seconds

I guess I can give you the specs of my computer just to save time incase someone asks:

    Lenovo IdeaPad N580

    Windows 8

Processor: Intel Pentium CPU 2.20 GHz 2.20 GHz B960
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.87 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit, x 64 processor operating system
Pen and touch: no pen or no key is available to view

It would be great if someone could try and help me, thanks!

  • Module takes forever to load

    Hello

I appreciate there is no easy way to answer this question due to the number of variables involved, but if anyone has suggestions for things to look out for the below query, that'd be great.

My e-learning modules take waaaay to long to open at the launch of our LMS to them.  Is there advice to save time?

My slides are 3 seconds long (for the most part - some are a little longer)

Maybe one or two modules were as much as 100 slides, but especially they run about 45-60 slides.

The zip file is usually about 4 to 10 MB.

I'll talk about my client computer subject dept of bandwidth restrictions, but in the meantime, are there other tips that you have to reduce the time of launch?  Another learning I've seen has a very fast casting time, but a slight delay when opening a new section of the e-learning module, as it is loading on the fly.  Is that possible/feasible in Cp?

    I use Cp4 and Cp5.

    Thank you.

I came across similar problems with projects that run up to 14 MB in size.  Allen Partridge has produced a blog post "almost instant downloading and reading of Captivate files online" (http://blogs.adobe.com/captivate/2010/06/nearly_instant_download_playba.html).  I followed the instructions to Allen but still found my projects still took too long to load from the LMS.  After an exchange of mail with Allen, he suggested I convert my audio slide oppose audio.  Looks like that slide audio when the course is published a huge audio chain and chain must be loaded before the project is launched.   If I place a text box transparent on all of my slides that had audio and attached slide audio for transparent text boxes.  My load time went from 30 to 90 seconds 5-10 dry you don't know if you have audio slide but if so try this to see if it helps.

    Good luck

    Hello

I just bought a used iPad Air and it takes more than 12 hours to get to 100% battery, I read that it should take about 4 hours. Something might be up with her? I use 12w chunky charger that comes with it.

Also, I noticed when the iPad is plugged and I use an app like Spotify the battery is empty. I know not what it is plugged. I expect to pay a little bit slower but not down. I reason of my thoughts on this?

Try another cable, another charger and another wall of output/sector to test. There could be something wrong with the accessories and not necessarily the iPad itself.

Yes, your thoughts are correct. I use my iPad 2 Air while loading and it continues to load. Ther battery never drains all its plugged in and in charge.

  • Vibe P1m takes forever to load!

In the face of many questions in charge of this phone. This is very probably a battery or Charger problem. the charger provided seems underpowered. It takes more than 10 hours to fully charge the battery! It is unacceptable for any phone... even more so when Lenovo claims this phone has a quick charge feature.
