• Cumulative update for Windows Vista...

  There are several updates, called "Cumulative Security Update for Windows Vista" that whenever I have download interrupts me to use Internet Explorer 7. I have no problem download from this but find myself constantly having to uninstall these updates after installation. It's a hassle and they never go (which means that I always wonder to install). When I say cut, I mean I open the browser, but it gives me an error of loading of the page. I have a WiFi connection and make sure that I am connected, but it still says that I'm not. I also have problems with Internet Explorer 8, which after installation cannot be used because it gives me an error of loading of page and constantly suggests that I am not connected to the internet. I'd love to have my laptop Compaq in the shape of the top end and as secure as can be but I can't with these issues, and often, I decline to make the updates for this reason. If you can help me with these questions, because I promise you that I have did everything in my power so please do! If not, then I can live with this POS a bit longer ;)

  You should have (1) uninstalled Norton free trial, (2) download / run the Norton removal tooland then (3) installed Webroot Antivirus with Spysweeper (?) BEFORE the Norton free trial period had expired. (Too late now).

  When I update my sensors IDS using the IDS MC 3 of my 4 probes hang. They don't ever restart all services. When I telnet to them I get the message "error: cannot communicate with system processes.» Please contact your administrative system

  An error has occurred during execution of the script of update on the sensor that is named Int_IDS1. Detail = RDEP a communication error occurred during the update. Exception message = org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpRecoverableException: error in the analysis of the status of the response line: could not find the line beginning with "HTTP".

  A sensor works very well without any problems.

  I tried upgrading the sensors individually through IDSMC and 3 even fail with the error message. I tried to make it through the command line and ftp and even failure 3. The 3 sensors that fail are 4235, and the successful sersor is a 4250 XL.

  If you are not running the patch 'f' on your sensors, 4.1.4(f), you must download and install this hotfix. It corrects insufficient memory on the upgrade issues that are very likely the cause of your problem.

  After the update of S96 signatures all signatures had been activated on all sensors/blades. However in virtual machines of CW where we launched the update, all configurations of signature were always OK. So somehow something was not locally on the application of this update. Also, I won't be able to restore the default values on the devices.

  Anyone else having the same problems?

• Invalid signature on update LR of today?

  I was warned that a LR update was available this morning. Three trials resulted in a download error - the file appears to be damaged, please try again. So I looked around here and uninstalled LR, downloaded and executed the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool, rebooted my mac and then tried to download it again. This time installation successful but "a patch has failed. LR is open, and the splash screen is returned to a previous version (Build 1014445). Before this "update" I was to build 1083169. Here is the download of the dialog box error 'more information ':

  

  I looked at this code and it says that it is due to an invalid signature on the update.

  The other curious thing is that the cleaning 2015.5 PS tool left intact and functional, but just didn't know my newly downloaded and re-installed Adobe Creative cloud app on this subject and I have redownloaded it and it now appears in the CC: list of installed applications.

  I think that someone botched the signature on the patch of LR and I would be happy if it can be fixed.

  Current version of new SP 2013 Development Server Configuration database Version 15.0.4763.100 - how do I update this new server to match the current production one.  I found that 15.0.4797.1000 and tried to downoad CU February 2016 but get this error below

  Why can't I download this more. Loading of the page kb but when try to download it gives this error. "We're sorry, the page you requested could not be found."

• Problems with Windows Media Center cumulative update 2

  I tried to set up my xbox360 to work with windows media center.  Whenever I try to install the Update Rollup 2, he created a restore point and as soon as he arrives to install the fix, says installation failed and my computer must be restarted or something to that effect.  I did some research and found the threads on the .NET framework 1.1 Hotfix and checked for her and she does not appear in my programs add/delete, menu, so I don't think that may be worth.    It drives me crazy, any help would be appreciated seriously.

  Yes - you will need to reinstall Windows to fix.  And, Yes, you will need to backup your data first and reinstall all your programs later.

  I'll post instructions later tonight (they are on a machine at home).  In the meantime, now is a good time to start copying all your data to elsewhere.

  Yes the signature updates are cumulative, but they do not depend on a minimal version of the software. If you are already running any release of E4, you can access the end of the signature update and install S615.
