  Do not use 'Clear history of Firefox closing' to clear the 'browsing history '.

  I start using Thunderbird to save and purge old e-mails from an account via POP3. This account is accessible by other users using IMAP on their computers and mobile phones.

  I want to archive and purge old messages from the server using Thunderbird. But it will not download messages that apparently are marked as read on the server via IMAP.

  POP mail accounts must be configured to "leave messages on server".
  Check this box before use.

  • Tools > account settings > server for the e-mail account settings

  • menu icon > Options > account settings > server for the e-mail account settings

  Select: 'leave messages on the server.

  Optional: select: "during the more than xx days" this will remove something more that select the specified number of days "until I have delete" when you delete an email it will be deleted from the server.

  Click Ok to save the settings.

  POP mail accounts are only looking at the Inbox and download everything that has not been previously downloaded regardless of whether it has been read or not. They cannot access or download from any other folder on the server.

  If you want to download the e-mail messages in other directories, you must move the emails in the Inbox to upload and it's may not be practical in your situation.

  What you can do is to synchronize your IMAP folders to a copy downloaded to your IMAP e-mail account.
  Then switch mode 'offline' to stop any additional synchronization synchronized files update.
  MozBackup tool could now be used to save the profile synchronization created mbox files that contain emails.

  You can also do the following to get a copy outside the IMAP e-mail account:
  Create the same folders in the "local folders".
  Then right click on the email and "copy to" and select local folders and the folder you need.
  Put a copy in the local files means these e-mails are also on your computer and they are not influenced by what you do in the IMAP folder.

  Well, it's a long story, but EDH to; I had problems with my printer works with Win XP. The same problem as now with Win 7.  I have e last driver of Dell, but Win7 says that drivers are up-to-date.  The printer appears in the Device Manager, but has the yellow triangle with (!) to score on this subject.  When I go to troubleshoot, it says it can't find the updated driver on the internet or the CPU.  Win7 says that the printer says that's not covering, check USB port, etc... I uninstalled the driver, let W7 update, and the printer still does not work.  What is the reference for this? Thank you... Corn

• I tried to download CS4, but it will not download.  Says that I need to improve, but cannot do so unless I am owner CS1, 2 or 3.  Why don't I just use what I bought.

  I initially bought CS4 in 2009 but wiped out long and sold the computer that was on.  I tried to download CS4 on my current computer but he said setting up the version I have is the one that needs to be upgraded and to be eligible for the upgrade, that I need to have bought an eligible product (which I don't own) as CS 1, 2 or 3.  I can not just use the CS4 I bought initially?  Why should I buy something else to use what I bought?

  Make sure you download the suite CS4 or product that exactly matches what you had initially: Download Adobe Creative Suite 4 products. Serial numbers are for specific products.

  If you have done this, and you still receive the prompt for an eligible item, this means that your serial number CS4 is a upgrade product: error: "this serial number is not for a product calling it" | Adobe Creative Suite. If this is an upgrade and you installed before, it must have been an earlier qualifying version of CS on your old computer. Because none of the previous versions are installed on your new computer, however, a CS4 update will ask a qualifying serial number.

  If you are unsure if you already have a previous version of Creative Suite, you can check in your products & plans to sign in French - Adobe ID . You can also contact customer service. Click on the blue "Still need help?" button, and then select chat. Cat representatives are unable to provide troubleshooting techniques for older products such as CS4, but they can search for serial numbers, including under the alternate emails or phone numbers.

  It's not like you have purchased an upgrade to Photoshop.  You say 5.5, which I suppose is CS5.5.  Photoshop Elements is a watered version of Photoshop that is not an upgrade, unless you have earlier versions of the PSE and PE you don't have versions of qualifications required to use updates.

They have checked all my settings and tested me sennding an e-mail and everything worked.
