My continuous graphics to uninstall each time that I quit! :(

When I restart my computer, I find that the graphics card (mobile intel 4 series express chipsets) has uninstalled because the screen resolution is like when it is in safe mode! I downloaded the drivers for it and have to reinstall every time he can then get back to my normal resolution. In addition, at the same time that the graphics card is not installed I can't sleep or hibertnate my computer!
What should I do? It's a virus that does not get picked up by my AVG or if the computer has been changed in a way that can not be reversed?
Thanks, Benji

    Help!

    Hi ad391970,

The reason for updates make changes on the computer would be some conflicting third-party programs or there might be a corruption in the Windows Update components.

I suggest that you try to install updates by disabling the third-party program conflict and check if it works.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Perform the check and the clean boot if you have the problem.

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    User account control permission

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If the problem is resolved to check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link given below:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

If the step above does not resolve the issue updates suggest that you try to reset the component of windows update and check if it works.

Check out the link below to find out how to reset the windows component update

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you check in a new user account if you are faced with a similar question. If a face similar to a new user account which means your other user account has been corrupted.

See the link below for screw a corrupt user profile.

  • How can I stop CHKDSK to start each time that I boot?

    Under XP, SP3.

I tried a fix and received a message that said it was only the relelvant to SP2 or an earlier version.

CHKDSK runs when you restart either because you have scheduled to run at the next reboot or because your hard drive has been marked "dirty".

Maybe engaged Microsoft Support Engineer "experts" don't know that you don't have to change the registry to remove a regular chkdsk pending.

To delete all waiting for the command chkdsk scheduled, click on start, run and enter in the box:

    chkntfs /d

Click OK and you will see all the messages, but which erases all orders pending regular chkdsk.

XP will automatically check the "dirty bit" on all your volumes when it restarts.  If XP detects a volume that has been marked "dirty", it will run a chkdsk with correction of errors on the volume afflicted to try to clear the dirty bit and you will see a message indicating whether to start XP.

A volume could be marked 'dirty' after something like a cut of current, power failure, aborted restart or an abnormal termination.  One of these events?

You can query the dirty bit on a volume from the command prompt window.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    cmd

Click OK to open the command prompt window.

For example, to query the bit of impurity on drive C, type:

    fsutil dirty query C:

    The sample output:
    Volume c is dirty
    Volume C: is dirty

Is the volume of your sale or it is not dirty?

The only thing that can clear the dirty bit is a success running chkdsk with error correction, sometimes you need to run it more than once, and sometimes that does not work and you will need see if running chkdsk with the XP Recovery Console error correction can clear the dirty bit.

If you want to do this, we need to learn more about your system:

Unfortunately, MS Answers forums does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, so we know almost nothing about your system.

Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Please MS Answers, continue to make solving simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Your system's disks IDE or SATA drives?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a genuine XP installation CD bootable, which is the same Service as your installed Service Pack (this is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

  • How to stop automatic download after each time that you buy a property?

I would like to know if there is a way to stop an application being downloaded automatically after each purchase?

    Welcome to Apple Support communities

If I'm not wrong, you want to disable automatic downloads (the feature that automatically downloads all content you purchase all your devices), right? If this is the case, there are different ways to disable depending on the device that you are using:

    • For iOS: go to settings-> iTunes and App Store (or App Store), then disable everything under "automatic downloads.
    • For PC and Mac: open iTunes, go to Preferences (in the iTunes menu on a Mac) or edit on a PC-> Store menu and disable everything under "automatic downloads.
  • Vertical scrolling got the reset each time that I use Ultra Nav to scroll vertically

I have a really weird behaviour UltraNav on my new refub T410 2537-XH4 (2537-DB5 before refub). I hope that someone here may know how to solve.

Step 1: I go to control panel-> mouse-> tab control wheel-> Schölling Vertical-> select "one screen at a time"-> click on the OK"" button.

Step 2: open a long web page and use UltraNav to scroll upwards or downwards.

Then I go back to the position of the mouse in step 1 and now the setting in the tab of the wheel is reset to scroll one line at a time. I repeated several times, and as soon as I use UltraNav, it resets this return.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, updated with all latest drivers and system ThinkAdvantage v4.

    Any ideas?

  • Why the GET Media Hub launched in offline mode each time that I connect to my VPN company?

I just installed my Media Hub and am very happy to have it on my home network.  However, every time I connect to my VPN company at work (I work from home all day, every day), he launched the offline media pole.  It reconnects as soon as I hang up the VPN.

I had other problems with VPN network, such as my * wireless * the printer works not when I am connected to the VPN (HE says it's to prevent the unauthorized access to our internal network).  But it is with a wireless device.  The Media Hub is physically connected via an Ethernet cable, not wireless, so I do not understand why he should have a problem with my VPN.

Everyone is heading in the same situation?  Solutions/solutions/suggestions?

    Thank you!!

It's real simple's happening at neworks using VPN Corp.  It deals with security and once you understand that it makes it simple.  Without VPN, you are conencted to your home network.  Call the NetA.  All NetA devices are in the same area code (simple analigy).  Then the PC know how contact on the network of companies IE NetA. OK, connect us to a corp network called NetB.  At this point, all codes of areo change toward a new area code to NetB.  The PC is no longer connected to NetA.  It is a Tunnel. The tunnel goes from your PC via your router to the network Corp and stops there. No connectivity to anything except the PC and the net Corp.  So you lose connectivity to any device on NetA.  Now you are conencted to a different area code.  Once that disconnect from NetB, your connection is restored to NetA.  Just like your experience.  Corp this person not the NetA to NetB connect.  I hope this helps.
