do I do t get my sound back, I put in the disc start and for some reason it didn't load my card drivers his and my wobbly id screen

melinda a kelly you have not provided enough information to answer your question.  First of all, what version of Windows®, edition and service pack level you are running on your system.  Secondly, please describe your hardware.  Tell the forum the manufacturer and model of your system if it is conditioned.  If not packed, say please use the manufacturer and model of your motherboard.  Please describe all types of adapters that are installed in expansion slots, as appropriate.  Finally, please read: KB555375 - how to ask a question

In addition, when you say:

... I put in the disc start and for some reason, it didn't load my card drivers his and my wobbly id screen

What disc are you talking?  What is a disc that came with your system (unknown) or the installation of Microsoft® Windows® Media?

As a general rule, in situations like yours, we recommend to go to your system (so excited) or the motherboard manufacturer's Web site (if not packed) and find the support site for your model.  You will find material shipped and the chipset drivers and other software needed to operate you system under Windows®.  Since it seems you have more of a problem, you could consider to download and install all the that are relevant.

If you have multiple multimedia (audio) cards, you may need to select the appropriate device in the tab "Audio" Panel "Sounds and Audio devices" control.
