my dvd will not eject

I can't eject my dvd even if I go into my computer and right-click on it. I rebooted several times, but he is still blocked. He said always windows does not. I could not save my computer in a long time, either. This sounds like a windows vista problem or a drive problem? Thank you

Hello

First we'll get the disc from the drive.

For any other problem of CD/DVD:

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive

If you look closely at the front of your CD/DVD drive, you should see a small hole.
If you gently insert a paper clip into the hole, you can release the drive tray.

When I look in my computer it says that a TSST Corp CD/DVD TS-L632M is installed, but when I look at the edge of the disc itself, it says DVD. R/RW with lightscribe? The software is also the original software yet.
Since the downloads for this model of Toshiba page, I see that the TSST DVD - RAM drive was equipped initially to the laptop so I'm assuming that a DVD - RW was equipped afterwards?

If this is the case why Windows XP does not recognize a DVD - RW?

If someone sees something I missed please?

    Hey,.

Different laptops come with a different material maybe if the laptop was supplied with this player, but in my opinion it of important either.

The fact is if DVD is not recognized it seems to be a hardware malfunction, but what you can do is cleaning the lens of the player with a Microfiber towel. Do it carefully you don't zero or destroy the lens (dust could be on the lens). After that he try again if it will recognize a DVD.

Otherwise, the disc must be replaced and contact an authorized service provider. Guys can order a compatible drive and replace it. :)

I can't read some DVD (which will play on other computers) but some DVD will not work.

As per link above the pilot is tsstcorp cddvdw su-208bb. Tried uninstalling the drive and reboot but no effect.
I don't know my exact model. It's just a Satellite, and this is the only information I can find.

It is not easy to say what may be wrong with that. Try to clean the lens and check it once more.

  • Why my self playing dvd will not be recorded dvd?

I have a saved auto dvd that won't play on windows media player despite me download a shedding of different codecs. I don't know what the record was made in format, it comes from a canon camera recorded to a dvd player/burner. My computer is HP pavilion and it sees the drive as white, any ideas anyone please.

I have experienced and recorded the dvd, as well, the DVD - RW and DVD + R with two freewares and I'm able to play an exceptional video on my computer or DVD player.  Two freewares are available on internet and their software can be downloaded and run your browser on a computer.  The two programs are DVDVideoSoft's "Free Disk Burner" and the other "Convert Video" by X2XSoft.  I use video conversion to convert my video the Audio_TS and Video_TS files and output them both in a directory on your hard drive.  C:/DVDdirectory/Audio_TS and Video_TS/DVDdirectory/C: use of software Free Burner of disc to burn both files on the DVD.  The files to burn must be considered in the as free disc burner: Audio_TS Video_TS, otherwise your DVD will not play on anything!

Free disc burner "finalize" the DVD for you.  The Audio_TS is to render the sounds.  The Video_TS is the image.  Do not be misled by the Audio_TS bend not containing or not list all files!  Your good and ready to burn.

A pointer, however.  You will find your best record burning SPEED on "more SLOW!  You may be using a DVD that can be recorded at 40 x or 48 x or 16 x, or some fast deal, but always choose 4 x or slower.  I check in at 2.4 x and get better results than the faster speeds.  You paid for the DVD, do what you want to do.  Hope you can understand this and happy saving!
