  My Favorites are gone. As well as my Google toolbar they were in. 'Help' says to click on the "PERSONAL OPTIONS" under the "Pencil" button I can't find a button "pencil".   Method 1: If bookmarks are missing in Internet Explorer then follow the steps below:

  Navigate to the following location and check to see if the bookmark is listed.

  C:\Documents and Settings\nom Name\Favorites.

  Go to start/run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserShellFolders

  Search in the right for the value of Favorites pane. Note the full path to the

  Favorites folder.

  This value should be a REG_SZ value type, not a type REG_EXPAND_SZ. If it's the latter of the two, right click on Favorites, and then select Delete. Then right-click in the right pane and select new, string value and name it favourites.

  Double-click the new entry and enter the path to the Favorites folder.

  Hello. I've recently updated my Firefox on my Mac and I can no longer add or send attachments on my hotmail email account. When I compose a new message or press on answer, the bar/button fastening is visible, but it does not respond when the mouse is over it. When I try to send an email with an attachment, the transfer email is displayed but the attachment is not present. I can, however, open attachments are sent to me.

  I was able to fix before emails without problem, but have not been able to do since the upgrade of my Firefox browser. I followed a few older instructions that said to erase the recent cookies and cache, but that does not solve the problem.

  I had read that I needed Silverlight installed to run those (and apparently it was already installed)... but after not seeing it helps any, I disabled it on my Mozilla Add - ons... and NOW I can add attachments!

  22 Firefox now adjusts the zoom level of the page according to your settings in Windows, to better support high DPI displays. If you have a medium setting (e.g. font size, 125% / 120 DPI), for example, you can expect the content area will be enlarged 25% before even that NoSquint comes into play.

  You can try disabling NoSquint and see if the new size by default, associated with the site Ctrl + and Ctrl-satisfies your needs.

  Alternatively, if you want to continue to use NoSquint and avoid this new content zoom, you can set Firefox 22 use of sizing of 100% in the content area.   I had my system set up so that I would be informed of updates then I would elect to install those that I wanted too. Somehow this setting has been changed to automatically download and install updates. In recent weeks, I noticed that my computer has slowed down considerably.

  I have a Sony Vaio, I bought October 2012. I don't keep a lot of photos or videos on my hard but drive transfer them to an external hard drive that is not connected to my laptop unless I use as external hard drive at this time so I don't know has nothing to do with the cause of my laptop is running slowly. My operating system is Windows 7. The version that is installed on my computer but I don't know how to check the version. I don't know what other information, you may need, but can tell you that I don't download a lot of things like my children and grandchildren do my hard drive is not all clogged with junk.

  Absolutely nothing works and all I want is to be able to score again. I don't even like that I lost all of my other favorites, I just want to mark my new links!

  Move the places.sqlite to another location (no copy) and restore bookmarks from a backup.

  1. Use one of the following methods to open the bookmarks library window:
     • Click the Firefox button to open the menu and click on bookmarks.
     • Click on the menu of bookmarks and click show all bookmarks.
  2. At the top of the library window, click on the "Import and backup" menu and select restore.
  3. Click on the date of the backup of bookmarks you want to recover.
  4. In the new window that appears, click OK.
  5. Your bookmarks in the selected date should now be restored.

• After the recent update of Firefox, all my navigation toolbar menu options have disappeared, including my favorites.

  The only features that I see at the top of the browser page are the back button forward, the URL text field, the star to bookmark a page and the search field.

  Make sure that you are not running Firefox mode full screen with all the hidden toolbars.

  • Press F11 to toggle mode full screen (file/Firefox > fullscreen)

  If the menu bar is hidden, then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, which should make the convening of menu bar.

  Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

  • Is he missing elements then open the window customize via "view > toolbars > customize" or "Options of > Firefox > toolbars" (Windows)
  • If a missing element is located in the toolbar palette and then bring her back in the window customize the toolbar
  • If you don't see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette, then click on the "Restore default" button to restore the default toolbar set up.
