Hi guys,.

I get crashes and I was wondering if you guys can help me know whats up

Hello

Sorry for the long wait. I hope that you are still there. There is a bug filed for this signature

  • "" js::detail:HashTable\ < js::shape * < = "" const &, = "" const, = "" in = "" int = "" js::hashset & lt; " "js::shape *, =" "js::shapehasher =" "js::systemallocpolicy & gt;: lookup (js::stackshape =" "js::systemallocpolicy & gt;: setops, =" "li =" "unsigned =" "> < / js::shape * >)
  • The bug report is here.

Two users have reported they had installed HTTPS Everywhere and when they took it, the accidents stopped. I see you have HTTPS Everywhere active as well. Can you try to turn it off to see if Firefox works after that?

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

The good news is that if it opens in safe mode, there should be a fix or a workaround. Your accident is linked to the use of graphics acceleration so turn off that should prevent accidents. Maybe update your graphics drivers will actually solve the problem.

  • Some of my favorites live reloading is no more, manually or automatically. I tried safe mode and reset Firefox and still have the problem. Repairable?

I subscribe to 19 Articles in the form of live bookmarks. A few months ago, one of the blogs started not refresh the list of messages. Now a second blog is no longer updated. I tried the dynamic 'Charging bookmark' option (from the book live mark dropdown and since the "Show all bookmarks" menu and it will refresh the list.) If I visit the blog, I get the last commit, but he never shown in the RSS feed. I tried to open Firefox in safe mode to see if the modules are at the origin of the problem and there is no change in the behavior of the stream. I also tried to reset Firefox and it does not work. What else can I try?

Live bookmarks magically started working again! Had to be something with the blog I was following how I've changed anything recently.

  • Firefox would not be updated. Then I uninstalled and installed the most recent version. But it never opened and I can't find any. Now, using Google Chrome!

Can someone tell me what is happening and how I can go back to using Firefox?

Firefox works if download you it here?

Before installing it again, I would like to uninstall it (but do not check Disable checkboxes), then delete the Firefox program directory. Save your profile just in case before you start.

I completely everything related to firefox in synaptic package manager uninstalled, then reinstalled the latest version of firefox again.
One of the Add - ons obviously prevented firefox from opening, not sure that one well. I hope it helps someone else. Firefox now works.

  • Firefox starts slow, but works well in safe mode with all the running addons - why?

Then... all of a sudden my Firefox (v. 38.0.1) is really laggy, with slow-to-respond buttons, scrolling etc. So I manually disable all addons, but nothing helped. Then I try safe mode and it works very well. Large. So I turn on my addons again one by one, until they are all allowed and it still works fine. My conclusion: it isn't the addons. What is what is the cause? I have updated all my addons and just Silverlight, Flash, Google updater, Shockwave and some others.
One solution would be for this mode - Safe with addons running - being my default start mode, but I can't work out how to do it. Is no huge problem because I can make Firefox work perfectly, but it's a little bit of your time.
    Any ideas?

Hi RufusWalker, please see if Firefox is slow after upgrading to Firefox 38 covers and solves your problem.

  • After the reset of firefox when it crashed unless safe mode cannot use the google search engine

I had to reset Firefox after it crashed it unless I tried in safe mode, turn it off hardware acceleration still crashes so reset. Lost all my favorites and history etc. and my google search bar does more actually my search bar does not work any search engine, I try and I can not synchronize either as I have an unknown error

After a reset, you should find a folder of old data of Firefox on your desktop. If you do not, you can recover your bookmarks and other data from it. Is this what?

On your question about your Google search bar, it's the Firefox search bar integrated with search engine selection to the bottom of the left side?

    Do these search boxes work:

    • Address bar (also known as URL bar)
    • Firefox homepage (if you use it)
    • Top of the new tab (if you use it)
  • I get an error message Firefox is already running. I rebooted and redownloaded the program and continue to receive the same message

My XP Home Edition is not booting (white screen) and crashes at isapnp.sys then in safe mode. Please help as soon as possible because I need this platform for school!

What is your system brand and model?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

The symptom often means that your system is of a malicious software.

With this particular symptom of hanging on isapnp.sys in Mode safe is to search for a driver of zero-byte length file in the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder.

Of course, you have to boot the system on something in order to access the hard drive to find the suspicious file and get rid of it.

If you have any installation CD bootable XP real where you start in the XP Recovery Console, or you are not sure what type of bootable CD, you have,
make a CD of bootable XP Recovery Console or Hiren Boot CD and don't forget.

There is no XP media needed to make a Hiren Boot CD or a bootable XP Recovery Console.  You can access the folder and check if
There is this action suspect file and take.

Once you're booted to the CD of your choice, navigate to the following folder (assuming that XP is installed on your C volume):

    c:\Windows\System32\Drivers

Looking for a file that ends with an extension .sys and zero bytes in length.  The file can also have a curious name because she may have been generated at random.

If you are in the XP Recovery Console, issue the following command in the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder:

    dir *.sys

Files Scrolls one screen at a time.  Look at the list of files with .sys extensions and their lengths.  You don't need to
worry about directories...  If you see a file with a .sys extension which is zero byte, it is suspect.

If you use just the Mini XP Mode a Hiren boot CD (which works as Office XP), navigate to the folder of the my
Computer desktop icon and locates the suspect files.

You really want to remove the suspicious file once you get running and you run some scans for malware, but if you are
not sure what is the suspicious file or if it might be necessary, just rename the suspicious file for now, in case you are not sure.

For example, if you find zigxrtml.sys folder had a length of zero byte, rename it:

    Rename zigxrtml.sys zigxrtml.bad

Renaming or removing the suspicious file to get the system running is not resolved the problem.  It is the symptom of the problem.

The problem is your system is infected by malicious software and you should always follow up with a few scans to remove infections.

Once your system is running, followed with MBAM and SAS to be sure that the affliction has really been removed.

Reduce the risk of malware by running some scans.

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

It can be uninstalled later if you wish.

The scans by operating clean, restart, test your task manager and we can repair any other pending issues.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • window repair virus won't let me not even run in safe mode system restore.

original title: window repair virus won't let me not even run in safe mode system restore.  What should I do now?

Research on the web.  Not far from the computer.  Computer is speaking.  Windows repair itself downloaded to my computer XP Prof  Apparently erased all programs, all about office except explore and recycle bin.  Computer restarted in safe mode to do a system restore to an earlier date to wipe clear out of the memory of the computer.  Has started the system restore, you click on a date, click, hourglass and then nothing.  No message, nothing.  Click Next again and still nothing.  Download Security Essentials.  Took several attempts so that it can be updated.  Computer turns off.  EU Security Essentials uninstall and reinstall.  Finally updated.  I hope this works!

Hi, John. I had to deal with this virus of the Windows repair. I have had pretty good luck (fingers crossed anyway) by using the removal guide posted on bleepingcomputer.com.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-Windows-repair

They have a program called rkill download that stops all the running processes. Allows you to prevent the virus from Windows repair. It will give you a file log and show you things that stop you. Write those down.

I had the same problem you had with not be able to update Malwarebytes. I would like to run rkill, run Malwarebytes, and then reboot and repair Windows would jump to the top. On the third try, I didn't restart after running rkill and Malwarebytes. Instead, I searched for the files that rkill to stop (and I wrote down) and remove them manually from the C drive. Also, I have downloaded and run CCleaner which has removed registry now dead keys associated with the repair of Windows virus in the registry.

    CCleaner: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Then I rebooted. That seemed to do the trick: I was able to update Malwarebytes again. I ran the program display offers the site computer network, and which unhid all files that was hiding the Windows repair virus.

Again seems to work... thought it might be of help to you as well! Good luck!
