  Hello sayer46, according to norton toolbar is compatible with firefox 25. Please run the liveupdate from norton repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. Additionally, make sure that the toolbar is enabled in firefox > addons > extension thereafter.

  Hello, it sounds like you have downloaded firefox to a fake site that takes the browser with ad & software malware. Please only download from the official site of mozilla firefox!

  • go to the configuration/program control panel windows, sort by date of installation and remove all the entries that have been installed around the time that you added the firefox probably adware-bundled. also have a look for other unwanted toolbars...
  • run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
  • go to getfirefox.com and download a fresh Installer for firefox. After installing go in firefox > addons > extensions and see if there are toolbars listed: If so, reset the browser.

  First, select the permissions tab, make sure that 'Load the Images' is set to allow (default selection should work as well)

  Then select the media tab, and then click the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll the list. If any element has the option 'Images of block of (field name)' selected, deselect the option.

  This should hopefully solve your problem, but see also the problems that cause to not show images.

  Some add-ons can also block images, for example, if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block images.
