My hp cooling fan

My hp laptop has been detect that the cooling fan does not work with the guest on this topic every time that I start the <90B>System fan and always write for more information, pls visit \go\techcenter\startup .. .pls what can I do not too don't tell guest to the top whenever I turn on my hp 8 2000 window...

You can try to buy a can of compressed air and blow the air inlet and exhaust vents to dislodge any dust accumulation that could cause a situation of overheating. If cela does the trick, you will probably need to replace the cooling fan. Also, remember to always place your laptop on a hard surface and not on something soft which could block the intake/exhaust vents. You can also try a laptop computer tray that has a built in USB powered cooling fans.

Here is an example of one:

  • 2015 iMac 5K - investigation of cooling fan

    Hey guys,.

I just got the iMac end of 2015 5K with i7 Quad-core (skylake), 4.0 GB AMD R9 M395X, 32 GB of RAM, 2 TB Fusion Drive. The cooling fan is very quiet and it's quieter in the way, but when I've rendered from Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere fan starts booting (and then turns off once done rendering).

So, I wondered, - is this normal? It overheats? Contact Apple Support? This hurt the longevity of the iMac?

    Thanks for all your contributions!

Yes this is normal. The management control of the system is the detection of additional heat to the rendering process load and lifting the fan to avoid overheating.

  • My HP laptop cooling fan does not work.

Okay, so. I have a HP Pavilion 1145sg g6. It worked fine all morning, and then I put sleep temporarily (about ten to twenty minutes). When I went to turn it on, the screen was black and he said something along the lines of

"the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly. Suite operation is not recommended at this time... may result in unpredictable behavior that may result closed random, loss of data or damage the system as possible. »

Then after a few seconds it stops completely. There is an option to continue with the summary of the system and I clicked once on it, but she didn't go through completely for allowing me to use my laptop properly (I arrived at my wallpaper and it stopped).

This has never happened before, and I never had any problem with my laptop, like this before. I have had him since last August, and it worked pretty well through until today. Of course, the system sometimes, accused but nothing serious, for the most part just aggravating.

    How can I fix?

Someone said here that they stung the fan with a hairpin and it started working. I took a toothpick and switched my laptop and tried to move the fan and the fan started WALLA on! I noticed that a lot of dust in there and that's probably the culprit first event hough I keep this laptop clean every day, this darn dust is sneaky and small. If you use a toothpick, make sure not to break anything especially the toothpick. last thing you want to do is cause more harm. Now that I think I don't remember when the last fan worked and if it wasn't for the message that popped up today I would not of the same notice I wasn't to hear the fan because last week I said "wow is not the substance of this portable super hot feeling", but I just thought that my fiance was simply playing games on the computer for too long and that's why he was hot. He never closes the computer off smh. in any case, I'm very happy I read this post of a person using the PIN to hair. That's what forums are all about. Help each other. I hope it works for you. Be gentle, try pushing the way fan propellers in clockwise. Use a flashlight to see if dust or anything like that is by the way to allow the fan to run its on.  I blew in the vents, but it did have almost all of the dust of the road.  All of these messages, it seems this is a common problem. Good luck

  • How to disassemble the Qosmio E10 to replace the cooling fan - need manual

Does anyone have instructions on how to disassemble the E10 to replace the cooling fan. a G25 all the other models, but the design is not the same.

Now stuck at removal of keyboard connector.
No idea what fan model numbers so I can order before the band down.

Unfortunately, it seems that there is no information on fan replacing on the laptop of the G10. These documentations are not for public use, but only for the Toshiba authorized service providers :(

Apart from this fact it s not advisable to disassemble this laptop if you have no experience! During the disassembly process, you could damage the motherboard or something else

So I think that he of better go to a technician because he has more experience.
In addition, the taken cooling module supported and compatible can be ordered from the Asp in your country

  • Satellite C650 - Question about cooling fan

I recently bought the Toshiba Satellite C650 with processor i3 Intel and Windows 7 Home. When I see the bottom cover there are no holes for the cpu cooling fan intake air (there only the circle mark on the case under the cooling fan). Pls confirm me it is a manufacturing defect or not.

I also ran a cpu + the base temperature software and find core temp goes up to 72 ° C in one step and I feel very hot blowing through the radiator.

    Hey Buddy,

    > When I see the bottom cover there are no holes for the cpu cooling fan intake air
Who is normal and it s according to the laptop and the material. Different laptops have different cooling systems. This would mean that there are some laptops with no holes directly under the fan air intake. For fresh air holes are placed elsewhere to generate some air flow. If the other pieces of equipment can be cooled as well.

There are already some threads here in the forum and as you can see it's really normal:𷣵𺘻

    > I also ran a cpu + basic temperature software and found core temp goes up to 72 ° C in one step, and I feel very hot blowing through the radiator.
How did you check the temperature?
Always it is if everything works well don t care about the temperature. In this case, that the laptop could overheat, it would off himself to protect the equipment. ;)

  • Error 90 b - cooling fan problem

A few days ago I started getting message, with a cooling fan problem, error 90 b

But this error was only occurring when I started my laptop after 5-6 hours

I mean when I started this morning, at the first moment it showed this error, and when it will stop automatically (it says, ENTER to continue starting or it will stop in 10 or 15 seconds) and then I start it again, but this time, no error started end

So guyz, I wanted to know whether hardware or software problem or something else

Still my warranty period which goes, so should I goto HP support center?

    I'm on HP Pavilion dv6

It is material but may be repairable before you send it. Bend over a paperclip and stick it through the grid to hold the fan and prevent it from running out of control and blow compressed air in the grid to dislodge any dirt or dust that can be hung up the fan. If it does not the fan may need to be replaced.

  • Satellite L850 - 1 KG-cooling fan runs constantly

I have the problem that runs constantly in my Nooteboom fan. How can I open the case and clean it?
    I have a Satellite L850 - 1 KG

    Thank you

I don't know how old is your laptop and if dust may be reason for constantly running cooling fan but try it please check first advanced power options. You will find the option for cooling method. Please, set it to optimized battery. This should reduce the activity of fan cooling.

I also hope you use laptop on the desk and fan/cooling grill is free.

By the way: do you use original with the original display driver Toshiba recovery image?

  • Re: Tecra M11 sudennly freezes and the cooling fan starts to run

My Tecra M11 laptop is running Windows7 and with a broadband dongle Telstra wireless internet lights up and works normally for a period of time.

Sudennly it freezes completely and 5 seconds later the cooling fan starts to run until I power off using the power button.
    Thank you

You must understand that on this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here.
I can imagine that some background process starts and increase the use of the CPU at the critical level when the motherboard sensors register at higher temperature of the processor and cooling fan starts to run fast enough.

Try to check in the Task Manager, if something like that happen.

I put t know how you have configured your operating system and to applications that run in the background, but also to try to stop treatments that you don't need and change some settings.

  • Qosmio F30-112: cooling fan runs very fast

I want someone ask them, my computer laptop qosmio F30 - 112 recently whenever I start my computer, I heard that the cooling fan runs very fast (I mean) it wasn't stop differently than before his execution smooth only I heard when I play games but not continuous, then after that my computer now running slow.

Can someone help me what im going to do?

    Thanks: rtmasagca

F30 is a little older series laptop I think about 3 years or more... you cleaned the cooling modules in the meantime?
I think there is a lot of dust and debris inside the laptop and I think that keeps air from traffic and therefore fans run faster.
Try the compressed air jet that should help to remove dust and debris.

    Good luck

  • Innovative Peltier cooler fan

Laptop computer cooler innovative cold air (Peltier):

Most of the users will soon discover that their laptop L850 is not suitable for the sound works. That's because his cooling fan is all too often at higher speeds and therefore, too noisy.
Toshiba not having take account of this problem, I thought of an innovative way to solve using a Peltier cooler:
Complete units of Peltier eBay are sold for less than $30. They come with a fan with heatsink for the hot part of Peltier and a radiator for the cold part Peltier. Some even come with a fan for the cold part as well.
All that is needed to adapt it to the laptop, is to encapsulate the cold part, at the top of the Peltier unit, add a small fan, and direct the cold air in the region of the laptop cooler system (copper rails).
_Note: _ the cold part fan's need to pump to the outside air through the cold radiator to the laptop.

The Peltier device and its two fans there only about 7VDC to provide sufficient cold air and run virtually inaudibly.
Better is to thermally isolate the cold parts with wool and fiberglass Silicon paste.
I am happy to share my idea with you!
    Greetings, the Chile Joh

Hi and thanks for your ad. Due to the specific design of the laptop manufacturers have particular task to develop the effective cooling system. It must work well and all hardware components must be properly cooled. Each generation of cooling system is designed for certain model of laptop computer (different hardware configuration).

Users of portable computers several times, like my sister, don t take care on the machines and use them on the bed, on knees, or somehow that the cooling vents are blocked. In my opinion through normal use, avoid the problem.

In any case, some laptops are extremely quiet and on some models, cooling fan runs often and it can be quite noisy and annoying. Good alternative is the use of cooling pads. For 10 years I ve changed several models of laptops and so far I'm very happy. None of them was strong.

  • Satellite A200 - stop the CPU cooling fan

I got a Satellite A200-1CK and stop my CPU cooling fan. Not that my CPU is not getting enough cooling. But when I use my laptop to school for use for OS virtualization, it heats up, and the cooler will not turn.

The CPU cooler is broken or is it just a setting in the bios?

You must understand that nobody does you any kind of diagnostic accuracy and if you want to have the correct answer, your laptop must be checked by a technician.

Please check the BIOS settings, but on my A200 I can t see anything that can help.

  • Satellite C660-1st - replacement of the cooling fan

I have a Toshiba Satellite C660-1st. Last days a cooling fan start working very noisy doesn t and cleanup help. I bought a new Toshiba L650 but it s not working do not. This laptop cooling fan seems same as from my computer, but the order of the wires in the plug is incorrect.

Colors are the same so I tried to change order of the cables but it helps doesn t.

Any ideas how I can fix the problem?

    >... a cooling fan started working very noisy
How to understand this? Is noisy to say that the cooling fan can be defective and make a few strange noises or it works simply more often than before?

My Toshiba Power Saver setting is Plugged In: optimized battery.
I can't run the Toshiba Power Saver in the C:\Program folder.
Is this a software or registry setting or warranty issue?

    Can anyone help please.
    Thanks in advance.

    > Is this a software or registry setting or warranty issue?
To my knowledge, software issues not covered by the warranty.

But just a question; you have the latest version of the BIOS?
The fan table that controls the fan activity is stored in the BIOS, so you must make sure that your BIOS is up to date.

    > I can not run the Toshiba Power Saver in the C:\Program folder.
I guess you have a Win 7 OS running on this laptop.
The Toshiba Power Saver is a part of the Windows 7 power management. Therefore, the settings within the Windows 7 power management.

I had similar problem with my fan. Improve the management of the power of Win 7 as described here:
The doc describes Vista power management but it looks a lot like the Win 7s

  • Re: Satellite C660 - cooling fan work with a bang

Recently my computer laptop cooling fan started running continuously with a loud noise. When the screen is idle, it stops for a few seconds and start again. I changed the power balance in the Panel options, but it did not work. Even the BIOS is the most recent. Referring to discussion forums, I've changed to "selective startup" thru "msconfig" but nothing worked.

He is 8 months old. The noise is very disturbing. Can someone please help me with this?

    Thank you very much

    Hey Buddy,

    > Referring to discussion forums, I've changed to "selective startup" thru "msconfig".
I never heard of something like that

Have you already tested it with cooling optimized battery method? Profile of balanced diet also uses maximum performance for cooling must change the power profile and choose the battery optimized for each profile on the battery and the AC adapter power / cooling CC. Information on all power plan options, you can find here:

You wrote that your laptop is already 8 months old. You clean in the past?

  • Satellite Pro C650 - cooling fan does not work

My Satellite Pro C650 overheats and stops automatically within 20 minutes of leaving upwards. I checked the CPU fan and noticed that it does not turn upward, even if the laptop would become very hot. I tested the fan with a 9 volt battery and it works perfectly.

Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? And how to solve it.

    Thank you.

    > Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is?
On this virtual path, no one can say with certainty what the problem is. We can only speculate what may be the problem.
Usually, cooling fan starts immediately after starting the laptop slows down and offers the optimum temperature of material. After reading your ad I didn t understand how it works. He turns and there is no sign of life?
    Problem can be power.
Cooling fan will be controlled by sensors of temperature and activity depends on the temperature of the material but if your machine cooling fan does not work, I imagine that there is no electric power.

    What do you think?
