My icons changed very large size. It wasn't my fault. Its as if his party in safe mode and I cannot get it to return to normal
The icons on the desktop has changed size with out change me all the settings. In my view, that he went in safe mode. I can change the icons of a smaller size, but they appear strecthed and not the same resolution, as they were before.
Hi Chris,
-Have there been recent changes made on the computer before the show?
When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of your screen. To leave safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.
You can run the Microsoft Fixit and check if it helps.
Difficulty of broken desktop shortcuts and common system maintenance tasks
If you are unable to start the computer in normal mode, I suggest you to restore your computer to a previous working state.
Important: System Restore will return all your files non-system as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system. If it was your intention with this tool to recover a deleted file to non-system, try using a file instead of system restore recovery program.
Let us know the results. We will be happy to help you further.

How do we change closing time of a screen, that I am working on automatic or reading? It closes and I can get it by pressing the key, but it's boring. Thank you
Hi TommieZook, I see that this is your first post here. Welcome to our community!
As for your question, there are few parameters that you might need to check. #1 is the most likely:
- Power settings for your screen
Press + W to find settings, and then type power to find and open Power Options. On the left, click "choose when turn off the display" and set the timer accordingly. - Sleep for your PC settings
On the same page of the Power Options, click 'choose when the computer sleeps' to set the timer as well. - Screen saver
Windows 8 is not the screensaver on initially, but you can see these settings too. For easy access, go to the desktop and right click, then choose Customize. Choose screensaver downstairs and make sure that the setting of the timer is to your liking.

Icons become very large and do not match the screen
My screen keeps going wonky and the image becomes too large for the iPad mini. I continue to turn it off, and sometimes it returns to normal. How can I stop this from happening?
If the screen with zoom in try double-clicking the screen with 3 fingers and see if what he zoomed back - and if it does not define the settings > general > accessibility > Zoom "off". If there isn't a zoom you back off then try triple-click the home button and see if it it shuts off, and if it isn't you can then change what a triple-click via the settings > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (or Triple-click home if it is on an older version of iOS).

SP1 Win7 x 64 Pro
Hello
1 did you do changes on the computer before the show?
2 have you installed a software associated with office themes?
Method 1:
Themes control the appearance. With themes, you can change the appearance of the desktop and the appearance of the icons.
We will try different themes and check the status of the issue.
To change the theme, check out the site mentioned below:
Change the theme to improve performance
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Change-the-theme-to-improve-performance.
Method 2: Safe Mode
See the following site:
Start your computer in safe mode
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode.
Method 3: Turn off the antivirus
See the following site:
Disable the anti-virus software
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Disable-antivirus-software.
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

How leaving the "safe" mode and return to 'Normal' Mode after changing?
In Microsoft Vista, how to return to the normal mode to work in Mode safe? I tried to leave by pressing F8 during the restart of the system. I arrow down to the choice, but he always comes back in Mode safe. (Story: I just got by technical problems after the installation of a wireless router.) Everything now works in Safe Mode, but this mode is limited and I want to return to the Normal mode. Help!
I just found the answer by accident. I went to the system configuration and on the 'general' tab, I changed the "Selective startup" selection in NORMAL STARTUP and it worked. I hope this helps someone!

WINDOWS folder... Very large size...
Is it possible I can do smaller WINDOWS folder? its size is 16.8 GB... Very BIG huh? Can I compress it in .rar format? Any advice?
Thanks in advance!
ZrPreZario
Did you do the normal maintenance - remove temporary files, etc.. ? I use CCleaner for that, but with a caveat - use only the cleaning of the program part. do not mess with the registry tools. Otherwise your sounds about normal Windows folder. See also:

Normally, I use Paint on my photos. I changed a photo to painting so that I could make a few adjustments. Now, all my pictures are open as files of the paint. How to make their return to the normal setting of JPEG file?
Seems you have to change the program by default JPG/JPEG to everything that you had previously, possibly "Windows Photo Viewer?
If so, see - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-default-programs#1TC=windows-7
Either the "set your default programs or him 'associate a file type with a program" sections. "
