I woke up this morning and all my desktop icons have been twice the size. My icons in my taskbar are also maximized. I don't understand how to resize their return to their original size. If you have never backed up your iPad in iTunes (or iPhoto/Photos on a Mac) on your computer, or iCloud or some other cloud (out of service) service or on some sort of USB key or drive hard wireless designed for iDevices, so your images are gone and you can't extract your photos.
Mobile device users forget they are mobile, devices computer and more prone to problems/failures of devices with random data loss and do not have a strategy for storage/recording of data to other sources or sites in order to protect their valuable data on their mobile devices.
Mobile electronic devices aren't as strong and as stable as the most modern computer hardware, like a laptop or desktop.
All data important like the pictures and any remarks important and documents should not be long term stored on a mobile computing device such as a smartphone or a Tablet and must be saved in the long term location a real computer with more than one hard drive for backup or store these data on multiple devices or multiple storage media devices.
Significant data redundancy is key if a peripheral device or mobile storage goes down or something happens to the data.

You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

I learned that from the PSE 6, PSE uses the serial number of the HARD disk and not the letter of the reader to access the content. However, a catalog will still open and register correctly, using only the letter of the drive from it's previous machine. I'm usually import a whole folder. Until the letter 'G', PSE - 7 works as expected. The photos appear in the organizer and are accessible in all directions.
