my iphone 5 is crazy

My iphone 5 is crazy. I tried to send a text message and it just started typing on its own, then scroll, though the photos I sent, enlarge them or not, then I stop completely then turn it back on. Then in the settings and it took off again shot to bluetooth (which I have not on) then scroll up and down the settings. I called ATT that says that my phone is 'gone' they said I could try to restore, which I was finally able to do, but when I try to enter my password for my apple account it takes off by typing again. Any thoughts?

Kathy

HII Kathy,

I have a similar problem. Since I have installed IOS 9.2.1 my Iphone 6 more went crazy on his own. At random moments there comes this white bar at the top on my screen and it starts to compress random apps and things on my keyboard. Anyone know what is happening? The only thing that works great when it happens is my home button.

the phone goes crazy on his own? I have two employees in the SoCal area having this problem. Both have updated to IOS 9.2 and on the Verizon network. Any advice would be great! «The phone cut, connects during a call to Conference of someone else in (the phone chooses who to call), it basically starts random on the phone stock selection as if someone is trying to use it.»  It puts not only calls on mute.  The keyboard for contacts has been absent for a while, but is now back. "That's what they live. We tried to reset hard phones, the last option that we have not yet tried is wipe it off and start over, but I don't see that as a solution, since one is nine and the other is about 6 months with the same problems accurate.

    Hello FergusonChris,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that your business has iPhones whose screens are behaving erratically.  Given your description of the issue, it seems that the screen may be dirty or there is the screen protector/case that interferes with the screen.  To further support this issue, please see the link below.

  • iPhone battery draining fast

My iPhone of 6 battery go down 1% all ~ 15 seconds. After 67% it as abandoned and goes up to 20%. At first, I thought it was the beta, so I restored it to the last public update (10.0.2) I restored my iPhone 2 times now and my battery still drains like crazy. I don't think it's a battery problem because it turns off whenever it wants. I noticed something weird however. Whenever I try to reset soft, a deformed glitchy screen opens before he died. Whenever I do this it changes color (red, gray, green). Please help because it is impossible to use my iPhone for more than 3 hours.

    Hello mannycavs123,

Thank you to raise your iPhone battery here questions in Apple Support communities. I understand how it is important to have the power and portability. I'll be more than happy to offer some things for you to check.

The first thing we want to make sure that all of your data on your device is safe. You can have a backup, but please do a recent experience before you start troubleshooting. You can perform a backup in iCloud or iTunes using this article: the backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Once you know that your data is safe, I recommend that you check two things that can help extend your battery life. Is first called Wi - Fi help. When you encounter low signal strength time when you are connected to a wireless network, this feature allows your device jumping to the cellular signal so that your data will not be interrupted. With the switching signal, you will use more data, and depending on your cellular signal, it can also use more autonomy. This Help article talks about WiFi help: Help on Wi - Fi. I am personally in a great wireless signal box almost everyday, so I have this setting disabled. It can help to increase the autonomy of the battery you want to do.

The second recommendation, I can offer is to disable any applications using cell phone that you should absolutely not. This Help article discusses this: on the cellular data settings and usage on your iPhone / iPad. For example, I do not personally that I've never used the compass. Disable this access to cell data. Because he needs to send and receive data to keep the data when you open it, this will use the cellular data more. A signal, or whatever it is using cellular data more cost more autonomy. The best part of this is, if I'm in an area without wireless and suddenly need my compass, I can go back to these settings and turn it back on. This is why I personally most of these applications disabled except things like phone, mail, Messages, cards, and everything I need to use on a daily basis, even if I go to a wireless network. This can also increase your battery life.

In addition, you can take a look at what applications use the most out of your battery and adjust its use accordingly.  Take a look at this link for more information:

On the use of the battery on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Thanks again for checking out Apple Support communities and have a great rest of your day.

  • iPhone 7 slower Animations & Chop?

I use an iPhone 7, coming of the 6 s. I noticed that when an application is closed, there is a stutter that occurs about 80% of the time when you return to the home screen. On the 6s is one, smooth animation. I even recorded two screens in slow motion to make sure I wasn't crazy, and of course, the iPhone 7 stops just after that starts the animation. In addition, I noticed that using the task on the iPhone switch 7 is rougher. Even more, I noticed that unity apps are much more turbulent and unstable on the iPhone 7 when they are smooth as silk on the 6s. Has anyone else noticed similar experiences? I noticed lag on iPhone Home screen a friend 7 at work, and I've seen other people mention the same thing. I just want to get this out there while Apple is aware. (If they are not already.) And, Yes, I already wrote a request for feedback. Just want to get more visibility in the present, or if someone has found solutions.

We could do with as many people as possible put your comments in on this one. I was in the Apple Store the other day, trying to attract the attention of the assistant to this problem; He couldn't see it. I know I'm picky, but I can really see it.

The only solution I've seen involves reducing transparency and movement in accessibility options. They have some workarounds, however.

  • iOS10: signs of fall of Apple? Ignore your instinct or it will destroy your life/turn off your iPhone

2 days ago, my world stopped.

It all started when there was a car, punctual on my iP5s, which demanded a "Activation is needed", without any reason... it's how Apple will present 10 iOS.

"The key in your Apple ID and password". Something, I never experience more than 15 years of use an Apple products.

So, because of the nature of the hostile approach. I hesitated and my instincts took over.

I thought it might be a horse of Trojan or a decoy to get my Apple ID and password. I ignored him. But I can't, because there is no other choice and I had to reset my iP5s.

.. after which the phone hung and asked the pin code 4 normal phone... but the screen has been hijacked and I have no control over the buttons... more I tried... the phone has been disabled. He invites to connect to iTune

When I tried to connect to iTune... He said "demand is not available..."

so I had to go to the Apple Store Service to Dubai... but when he told me the next available appointment is October 1st... .This is crazy and absurd

It is a definitive way to an Apple fall... If the approach is not changed

If you could explain your problem without the doomsaying and the histrionics, it may be possible to give you a few tips.

If you find my iPhone activated, you will need to enter your Apple ID and password anytime you restore your phone. This is for your protection. You are free to turn off the feature in the settings > iCloud > find my iPhone.

  • Apple Watch sport does not work correctly. The display is 'crazy' once or twice a week and I need to force restart it. Do you know what is happening with the watch? Is this a common failure?

Apple Watch isn't working properly. The display is to be 'crazy' once or twice a week. And I need to force restart it. Is this a common failure?

    Hello

This isn't a failure or defect.

Zoom (an accessibility function) has been activated on your watch and you are zoomed accidentally tapping on the screen in a particular way.

    • To turn off the Zoom:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > general > accessibility > Zoom - put it off.
      • Or on your watch, go to: homescreen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > accessibility > Zoom - tap and enable / disable.
    • If the accessibility shortcut has been enabled and configured for the Zoom, you can also enable and disable functionality more conveniently:
      • On your watch: quickly press the digital Crown (the round button) three times.
    • To set up accessibility shortcuts:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.
  • IPhone black jet 7

    Hello

I just want to know if new jet black color may scratch more easily, or cracks (if I'm crazy enough to break) are no longer visible. Thank you!

    Hello

Apple says that the bright surface of the black Jet-Black iPhone 7 and iPhone Plus 7 is as hard as other Apple products anodized and the high gloss finish can show fine micro-ecorchures with use.

If you are concerned about these brands, Apple suggests you protect your iPhone with a case. Apple case for these models have a soft Microfiber lining and are available for purchase from the Apple Store online:

  • iPhone 6 s not able to use a cable USB from Apple authentic

I started having a problem with my iPhone 6 s the other day. I have two new connectors USB Apple I had when my wife and I bought our new iPhone 6 s. We now use the new son a few months without any problems. The other day I updated my iOS 9.3.3 phone and I started getting an error that the Apple's USB cable is not an authorized wire and does not charge my phone or it will even connect my phone to my computer... the funniest, it is... I have also not expensive brand USB and cables the phone it is without problem. I used to have problems with an old thread to apple who is now all tied up, whenever I have would be to plug my phone by using the Ribbon adhesive wire he'd go crazy connection and disconnection of the repeatedly... but now, there is no that... the wire to tape up is the only one that I can use to connect my phone to my computer. I have since then returned to 9.3.2 iOS to see if the issue is resolved, but he didn't. I've erased all settings several times and have not been restored to the back upward... I restored to factory settings and configure my phone as a new iPhone several times my computer using iTunes and the phone its self via general > reset > erase content and settings... Still no luck. I don't have this problem with my 6s... wife's iPhone, it can use the new son of apple with no problems... even my 5s (old iPhone) iPhone allows also the son of apple without problem.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

    Thank you

  • I just bought an iPhone 6 s more who will not sync with iTunes 12.2.2.252.25

I'm under Lion with iTunes 12.2.2.25 and my new iPhone 6s more will not sync.  Unfortunately, I can't spend the MacBook to El Capitan due to age.  iPhone syncs with El Capitan (just tested this, do not) it seems crazy to me that my Mini iPad will sync, running the same iOS but my phone won't.  Help?

Update iTunes on Mac > http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    12.2.2.25 is obsolete.

    Then sync your iPhone.

Best to disconnect the iPhone from your Mac during the update process.

  • How to remove documents and data in the iphone app podcast 6

I know how to remove each podcast, but how do I remove "documents and data" in the application of podcast?  I have more than 4 GB of data and documents.

    I think I found a thread that is useful for you: https://origin-discussions-us.apple.com/thread/6822791?start=60 & tstart = 0

Sonny3301 answer worked for me, «...» "(The steps are: 1) download the Battery Doctor app on your iPhone (it's the first one that appears in the search) (2) hit the"Junk"icon on the bottom and tap 'Clear Cache'." (3) repeat until your space becomes available. The people that I learned this technique of some other bulletin board said it took 10-15 tries; It took me + 30 attempts. The memory savings start small at first, then it starts to hit hundreds of MB at a time. It sounds crazy, I know, but I went to have less than 200 MB of free space for 3.6 GB. Great thing, it was my podcast app had only been hogging to 1 GB of data, so the app battery doctor found 2.6 Go elsewhere. Good luck to you all and you are welcome. »

  • 5 backup iPhone

    Hello Apple community.

So my iPhone 5 had a cracked screen so I had to get a replacement, which lasted a few months before the LCD went bat-shit crazy. Long story short, I can't do anything on my iPhone screen. It lights up on the back (I can tell) when I click on the lock button, so of course, I know is not a software problem, it's just the screen that don't pass the lock screen (it is quite literally just yellow lines). I want to save I have another phone that I can use, but when I connect it to iTunes, it says that I need to unlock my iPhone first. It is literally impossible without having ANOTHER screen of the iPhone which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Is it possible to bypass the pop-up "you must unlock your iPhone" so that I can save and move to my new phone?

Sorry, without being able to put in the access code for the lock screen, the phone can only be stored in iCloud via Wi - Fi, if you have that configured until the screen is dark.

If you don't go back to iCloud as well, your data cannot be saved on iTunes without a working screen.

  • Siri & command voice crazy when the execution with headphones

Everyone knows a combination of Siri (and after I disabled Siri) then the voice command goes a bit out of whack? This happens when I'm out of the race, I have my iPhone 6plus in an armband and I use generally a few apps (Strava & MapMyRun) running and listening to music. I say try because recently Siri turned without my activation. I have disable Siri and then on another race and unusable voice control music playback. Effect, apart from the interruption of playback of music, had to skip songs, fast forward and usually impossible music.

Initially I thought he could have my cuff by pressing the buttons somehow, but after a few tries I excluded only. I guess it must be something to do with the helmet, but does not know which affected them has an effect on this problem. They used to work properly.

Thought I'd share a few comments. The fault was with the helmet. Must have been faulty wiring or a certain type of damage that has been feeding via the headphones and sending crazy Siri. A new pair of headphones did the trick, and once again I can listen to my music while on the race. I deliberately chose headset without a microphone this time. After all, I'm not really taking a call when I'm blowing and blowing on a race and I hope that can mean this pair last longer.

Also, tip practice, might be useful to check the headphone jack for an accumulation of lint. I used a stick to fish out debris.

  • iPhone 6s does not illuminate

My iPhone 6 s began to turn off without reason, even when the battery said 70% or more. It restarts and then say loaded. Two days passed like this and then phone should be connected do not turn off. Then the phone will not turn back. The charging symbol would come right on. I took the phone to the genius bar and taught the battery was good but internal problem and there was nothing that could be done, I just have a dead phone. I was told it happens sometimes. Really. I have a phone that is around the age of 15 months and now it's a paperweight. If I had done something then I would say OK but to be said, that happens sometimes and just buy a new. Well. While there - 2 other people were at my table with the same problem. Fortunately for them they both bought their phone in the last 6 months so received a new. I'm so angry. I need a phone for work, but cannot afford a new iPhone. I am now using s flip phone and going crazy. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do with this phone.

If you have a 6 s, you have it less than a year. It was not available until September 2015. Therefore, it is still under warranty. If it is in fact an earlier model, you can still be able to get an output of warranty replacement for a lot cheaper than the price of a new phone.
