My iPhone 6 is fried... RIP :'(

So I realize that there is really no hope to bring my phone to life, but is it possible that I can recover my data such as photos, music, applications, etc. to transfer him to a new iPhone?

He did back up iTunes or iCloud? Note that if you had parameters > iCloud > backup turned on in the phone it would be automatically backed up during loading if connect to wi - fi. More information on the implementation of a new phone with iCloud or iTunes backup: transfer content from your old iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

It is also possible that you could be configured to synchronize data to iCloud (contacts, pictures, etc.). You can connect to https://www.icloud.com/ and see if any of the synchronized data is there.

  • iPhone screen 5 - replaced battery, black. Video card fried?

My husband iPhone 5 was not load so I replaced taxation port, which didn't work so I replaced the battery. It seems to have worked because when it is plugged in, the computer recognizes that it and he did the sound perception-, but the screen was completely black and by pressing the home screen can that Siri, so we thought that maybe the screen has been fried. I wanted to see if it was the screen that was bad, or if it was the mother board and we should just scrap it and get a new phone, so I swapped the screen with my phone. Now my screen does not work! Neither work. My screen is black but my phone still works, and I can't Siri by pressing the home screen. I guess it was because my husbands phone was always powered (but we couldn't tell) and it fried or something. I fry the video card on the motherboard? Is - something that can be fixed and if so, what parts do I need?

The iphone has no serviceable parts by the user. You have basically destroyed two phones for something which you ought to have apple do.

  • RIP my iPhone

My iPhone 6 has had the iTunes icon and a plug with an arrow pointing to the icon for about two days. If I hold both home or button works / stop the apple logo appears but only for 10 seconds and then it will go back the the previous iTunes card, arrow, etc. I repeatedly plugged on my computer trying to update or restore, but my computer (mac) has yet to do. I tried this on three computers in my house that are all up to date. A message appears after each attempt filed saying "an unknown error has occurred (27). I have read all articles and suggestions and followed them, but it's always the same question. And even after my mac has a notice saying that it could not recognize my iPhone, my iPhone is stuck with the apple logo and an empty loading bar is not showing any progress. This also occurred after that my computer said that an unknown error has occurred. PLEASE HELP ME.

If you take a look at this support document, get help with update iOS and errors - Apple in charge of restoring error 27 is usually a hardware failure. There are a few steps of troubleshooting, but ultimately, the best thing to do is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar to the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem. They will be able to explain your options from there.

  • IPhone 6 s water damage, the phone turns on, is the battery just fried?

My phone got wet almost a hot tub... was not at all.  Tekdry working on it, so its dry and did not work during a day.  Now its finally works when it is plugged in, but used to hold a charge and seems to be stuck in recovery mode.  IM more than sure that it must just be the battery.  In any case, she takes in the Genius bar, unfriendly guy told me they would not replace battery water damage indicators show?  Why wouldn't they just allow me to pay for a replacement of the battery?  I know it may or may not work and of course my phone is out of warranty damage, if Im not looking to blame future maybe problems on Apple.  Just shocked I couldn't give them $90 to a new phone?  Is this a common practice?  They said that they would only replace whole phone for $299... Please help or give advice, thank you!

Yes, it's standard. Your only option with Apple will be to pay for a full out-of-warranty replacement device.  The costs for this in the USA are $ 299 for which you get a refurbished device to factory OEM with a 90 day warranty.

  • ALAC songs do not sync for iPhone

    7. more than 256 GB iPhone

    iOS 10.0.2

    10 Pro 64 bit Windows

    iTunes 12.5.1.21

Because I have the 256 GB iPhone, my intention was to fill this space with music files without loss. Were rip CDs to the ALAC format using dbPowerAmp. Apple Lossless, default profile.

I've tested this two days ago with just a few files and everything works great.

Today, I'm unable to transfer these files to the iPhone during synchronization. I put all those I want in a playlist, then checked the as a playlist to sync with the phone.

During synchronization, he dies in the first file to be copied. 'Copy 1 of 728...' and it just is there forever. I thought that maybe there was a problem with an individual file, I have so removed that out of the list, try to synchronize again, same result.

At this point, sync just seems to "freeze". Hit the little 'x' to stop synchronization doing nothing. I need to unplug the phone so that it can synchronize.

Have restarted the PC, phone rebooted but still get the same result.

What could I do it wrong?

    Thank you

Update - it seems to work now, but I deleted all THE music from the phone and started around. As I have now 10,000 songs to synchronize again, I hope I won't have to do it several times.

  • iTunes Ripping from CD to NAS

Hi there, apologies as I'm sure this has been answered in some form several times but I can't find too specific a question (s). I have a MacBook (OSX) and a DLINK NAS talk to one another. I would like to ship ripping my CD collection, so I have digital versions available, allowing me to use a number of services (iTunes, Sonos etc.), with files on the NAS itself.

What setting should I before I start?

    1. Change iTunes to MP3 format extraction
    2. ITunes library update location on NAS where ripped files will be made available
    3. Configure iTunes to watch the entire where my audio files will be, or create a separate folder "library only" and somehow configure if it has a few shortcuts to real files?
    4. Anything else?

In short, I want to make sure I'll keep that a copy of the file to save space as well assume that I need to extract the files directly on the NAS. Then iTunes media library should just look at these files, so there is no drop iTunes and double files?

I have probably explains this very badly indeed but eager to make sure that I'm going on the right foot and make a beautiful torn library located on my NAS, but just once!

    Thanks in advance!

Everyone likes the idea of SIN, Sonos, etc., but in reality, iTunes and NAS don't like each other and can cause unexpected problems. Not always, but when it happens, you'll be one very unhappy announcement back here.

The format to which tear you depends on the size of the file to which you are ripping applications are you your other devices and to a certain extent.  For speeds of 128 k or less get you better quality of AAFC.

If you continue to use the SIN, you can move the entire library to it.  Copy the entire folder iTunes from iTunes to the NAS, then launch iTunes while holding down the option/alt key and select the iTunes Library.itl file in the folder on the NAS.  The NAS will have to be awake and active before launching iTunes or iTunes will forget the location and you will need to reset it.

From this moment the only things stored on your computer will be the backups of the iPhone and some files in iTunes preferences.

Make sure that you keep backups of the library on the NAS.  We can one day you'll start things and discover all your track lists point to very different files and you will LOVE your backup at this stage because dealing with by other means will require 30 positions.

  • Playlist from iTunes will sync to the iPhone, but not all songs present themselves

I recently synced my iPhone to my computer for the first time.  I have a number of playlists on my phone, and a combination of music ripped from my CDs and music downloaded from the iTunes Store.

After synchronization, all the playlists and the music seems fine on my computer.  But now on my iPhone my playlists are absent songs!  All the playlists are there, missing just the songs.  And it looks like strangely the songs I downloaded from the iTunes store are those missing.

Back on my computer, iTunes displays playlists normally, with all the songs.  So, essentially the playlists on my iTunes on my computer are distinguished by the playlists on my iPhone.

All the downloaded songs are on my iPhone.  I can find the songs individually and play them fine.  They are just in the playlists.

    Any ideas?

maybe try to download songs directly from the iTunes store on your iOS device?

  • cannot auto-sync my iPhone with iTunes on Windows PC 6s

in iTunes (on Windows PC 8.1), the box that says "automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" is grayed out. The box that allows synchronization via WiFi is ok. I have included my iPhone on the list of devices allowed and PC and phone get an automatic download of the music I bought on iTunes. But my iTunes library on the PC includes the CD I ripped and I want auto-sync to the phone when the phone is connected via the cable USB/Lightning...

Have you properly synced to this computer before and not synchronized to another computer for this time?

    Can sync you manually?

  • 6 s iPhone battery - discharge of static electricity

I had 6 s battery drain problems in the past, but them successfully with all the tips in various posts. I got a new problem, I can not find a corresponding solution. 2 days ago that I get out of my car and put my phone in my Pocket there was an important stoic discharge between my phone and the case. Since then, I've noticed a very sturdy drain the battery even when I left apps, restarted the phone, turned off location services, etc. my phone reached 20% at the last minute 30 and 4% while I wrote this post. Do I need to place the battery drain or I fried my phone and need to get a new one. ?

    Welcome Dan,

As I understand it, your iPhone is losing battery life and this continues even if you close all of your applications. I know it's important to keep your iPhone upward and running and I will be more than happy to do that with you.

You're right about the first step. We want the cycle of recharge battery to 100% and then it drains until the iPhone turns off. Once that happens, it charges to 100% and then see if the problem persists.

    See you soon

  • iPhone dis - and reconnected to iTunes

    Hello community,

I have a problem with my MacBook Pro retina 15 "(later) and the iPhone 6 s (even later), both with recent updates."

When I want to sync my iPhone with iTunes via USB (original) cable, it keeps saying - and reconnect over and over again. Recharge my iPhone no problem and usually my USB port on the Mac works correctly.

Also, this problem was introduced after two years with my iPad Air (1st generation) and for a few weeks with my iPhone.

The two cables are fine, I have them have not broken from a roof, that stood on them or keep them under the water.

I turned as the two devices (Mac and iPhone) on and outside.

Do you know where is the problem and how can I solve it?

I would appreciate your help, thanks a lot!

    Kind regards

    Arthur

A very common method of deactivation of the cables is ripping off their either out of the USB connection or the Lightning by pulling the cable itself, rather than the box close to the end of the connector.

This looks like quite by chance that this relatively unusual problem should happen more than once to you.

You can try a different USB port on your Mac.  In addition, you can consider buying a new cable if you somehow she had poor handling, in one way other than standing on them, etc.

  • iPhone 6 GPS works not

    Hello

About a year (like on iOS 9 version), GPS on my phone did not work.  When I would try to use maps from Apple, it seems that my car has been the road somewhere in the grass, and sometimes many roads above.  He could never stay with me while driving.  Also, this happened when using Google Maps, so I knew it wasn't just a problem with the Apple Maps app.

I tried to restart the phone several times, remove the GPS applications and reinstall them, completely wipe the phone and start from scratch, etc.  The problem still exists.  So for a while, I just dealt with him.  I just use GPS my car if I needed one.  Although it has always bothered me that my 128 GB of 6 GPS iPhone did not work.  However, with the release of the 'Pokémon GO' game that is based on the GPS, I am very disappointed that I get a signal error my GPS is not detected (Yes, I have activated the application location services).

Is there some app or something that I can use to diagnose my GPS antennas in the phone?  I have the full 5-bar signal (point?), and my phone is in developer/debug mode, so I can also see that the detailed signal is - 81.  I have AT & T as my carrier.  There must be a way to determine if something in my phone is damaged.  I would go to the Apple Store, but the closest is an hour and a half, so I would like to avoid that if possible.

I have the same problem as well. I noticed when I tried to use the WAZE app for the first time since more than a year and it does not locate my position accurately enough. I've never really cared because I rarely travel too far and my GPS worked well enough for me to navigate when I should not rely on a map. Now that Pokémon GO is out which relies on positioning very accurate since some Pokemon can only be captured in some areas, it is really annoying that my phone takes a lot of time to put me in a general situation or fails to find me at all. I know it's just a game, but it's really annoying because it's the first week of release, and all my friends are playing. Seems my GPS only works pretty well to play when I'm more urban areas in my city (perhaps the buildings help focus signals on my phone) compared to parks and suburban more areas. The phone would make my position in the game by tens of metres offshore and sometimes would be me all about teleport to another whole BLOCK!

I think it may be a hardware problem because I also noticed that my phone started to worsen to pick up WIFI signals as well. I use to be able to walk my business and maintain a good WIFI signal and now it seems that I can hardly connect to my router unless I'm less than 10 feet of it. Around, I read that this could be a short film of either a bad charging cable, damaged by the heat that damage the WIFI and GPS, modules or an update that fried partial systems.

Edit: I checked my router with the new iPhone of others and they had really good reception of the WIFI signal like what I had at first, that's why I think it's a hardware problem.

  • Restored iPhone 6 sauvegardΘ iCloud, ok except iTunes.Full library if poster not only purchase music. Some songs will play-"product is not available.

I use an iPhone 6, 64G.  Running iOS 9.3.1 (I3E238); It comes with the music on the iPhone app.  My phone was stolen and I restored the replacement using iCloud.  Everything works, and all the information has been restored except music.  I tried enabling iCloud music library in the settings, and I get this message:

iCloud music library can be activated - you can turn it on later Music of parameters (this is what I did). So far, your music is not available on other devices.

During this time, all my music is available on my iPad, what is on the device which is in the cloud.

In addition, the music that shows on my iPhone is purchased one and the same music then no, not all.  When I try to play any song, I get the following message:

"Product is not available" - this song cannot be read.

I'm not sure what more I need to do.  Should I sync with iTunes on my computer?  I think that was part of restoring from iCloud.

    Thank you!

You use the same Apple that you had before you lose your phone ID? Is so iCloud music must synchronize but all your music which comes from your computer (such as the ripped CD) would not part of the backup to iCloud. You'd have to resynchronize only the music using iTunes.

  • How can I move files 64 k on my iphone

I have a lot of old mp3 files from cassettes and vinyl records that for reasons of file size (storage was valuable at the time) I've tasted to 64 khz.  I have iTunes game and these files were downloaded not iCloud.  I want to move some of these files on my iPhone from iTunes on my iMac.  iTunes seems to prevent this.  Is there a workaround.  Re-importation of original source is too long (it is not like ripping a CD!).

    Thank you

    Kerry

iTunes game like nothing less 128 k. In some cases, you may be able to convert to 128 k, match, remove the download and then download 256 k. Make copies of the original security before trying.
