My Ipod jumps on the songs

My Ipod nano 7th generation jumps on the songs, and I can play at all.

What could do?

All the songs or a few songs? If some songs, he always jump on the same songs, or songs at random ?

First, do a Reset (reboot) on the iPod

Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support

If this does not resolve the problem of jumping, you can do a restore of the iPod using iTunes. This erases the iPod, reinstall its software and sets it to the default settings.

I bought an album (Hot Tuna for $16.99. All songs downloaded on my IPOD, but all songs have been cut until they end. I contacted Apple and have not heard a thing. Did not get a refund either. Someone please tell me what is happening. Thanks, Jeff

Try to remove the music album / iPod by it slide to the left and tap on delete for each song. Repeat this until you have removed the album in full, and then try redownloading the album from iTunes on your iPod. If the problem persists try restarting your iPod by pressing and keeping the Power + Home keys until the iPod reboots.

    I hope this helps!

  • When I use my iPod in my class, I often play a short part of a song and then go back to play again. He goes back in the beginning, it starts a few seconds in the song. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thank you!

When I come back he's going all the way back to the beginning. How to fix?

    • So you-and-release press the left arrow key, the iPod jumps at the beginning of the track
    • If you press and hold the left arrow button, iPod scrolls when you release the button and the reverse (rewind), the song will continue where the rewind is going on.

    Strange behavior of the "rocket".

I listened through an album, cancelled the "rocket" and tried to listen through the album. He started jumping through the song: a few seconds, a break, a few seconds of music later in the song and and now - a bit like someone bounce a needle on an LP, for those of you who still remember LPs.

I have disabled completely, he returned: even. Released A card MicroSDHC 8 GB (SanDisk), played a song from the internal memory as the other skippy albums were on the map: even. Put the MicroSDHC card into once again, the database, refreshed, even.

Used to Reset back to factory settings: same.

    Go figure.

For me, there are two problems, the two mechanics:

    (1) headphone plug was not completely in the socket due to the thickness of a silicone case. It was "jump". Nothing to do with VBR.

  • Unable to get the song on ipod

I opened it in iTunes and got 51 Wav songs on it but it wouldn't hold any more. I then went online looking at a manual, and I realized I needed to convert songs to a lower compression.

I formatted the iPod and then tried to compress some songs, but I can't figure out how.

I need quick tips because if I can not all the songs on it I have to take this and switch so I can have the music while I'm out of town for the next 5 days.

    Thanks in advance

When you say "formatted", did this using Windows? Because that completely erases the iPod, including its software shipped necessary to operate as an iPod. The right way to erase an iPod is to do a restore via iTunes, which implements (after deletion) condition 'factory' by default.

When you connect it now (with iTunes running), the iPod still appear in iTunes?

IPod 160 GB suddenly stopped, view the results of a search when it is connected to a PC. If any song name is typed into the search, it does not display this song while the song is in the Ipod. Simply, it displays "no record found".

Click the magnifying glass in the search box and make sure the entire library search is not checked.

Listen to songs in iTunes itself on my computer. I would definitely say no songs are in their "native" to iTunes format, since I had to download from youtube and convert them to iTunes, but they're there and playeable, so I'm expecting to be transferred.

Is this a known problem and how would I fix it? Thank you!

I would definitely say no songs are in their "native" to iTunes format, since I had to download from youtube and convert to iTunes

All the songs that do not synchronize these converts are songs? That do sync the two aren't these songs converted?

In iTunes, see list of reading, do a right click on one of these songs that are not in sync, and then read the information. In the info window, go to the file tab. That said it for the type and bitrate?

In addition, the file Info tab, find location. She gives a file path to the location of the song on your disk file, or should I say iCloud? If she says iCloud, the song is not stored locally, so it does not sync. And since these are not purchased songs from iTunes Store, IF they are only in iCloud, they must be in your music to iCloud library. If would be important to know if yourmusic to iCloud library emanates a subscription to Match iTunes or Apple's music.

  • Why the songs on my iPod constantly repeat?

Why the songs on my iPod Nano are continually repeat?

The last week or so, what song will repeat until what I hit the next button.

You have probably enabled the repeat a parameter. If your iPod nano has a touchscreen (6th gen or 7th gen), the setting is on the now playing screen. Setting repeat button looks like two arrows in a loop. When the value Repeat One (repeat current song), there is a small '1' on the symbol. Tap to set Off repeat or repeat all (repeat current list). This is the guide of the user for 7th gen nano

    https://manuals.info.Apple.com/manuals/1000/MA1624/en_US/iPod_nano_2015_user_gui.PDF

See page 19 for more information on the songs repeat. If your iPod nano 6th gen, it is similar, but you may need to drag the current playback screen to see the repeat button.

If your iPod nano is older, with a wheel, please after return.

  • iPod classic used to synchronize all the songs in the library

I have 414 albums and 3100 songs in my iTunes library on my Windows 7 desktop. Same problem on my laptop Win 8.1.

When I connect my 106 GB Classic iPOD, songs only 398 appear when I click on 'Musical library of full synchronization.' Up to 85% of the songs that are on my hard drive in the iTunes folder Media/Music doesn't sync to iPOD Classic.

Help! It used to work very well for years until last year.

Choose a song that is currently not sync to the iPod. In the iTunes window, find it in your iTunes library, make a right click and select information. In the Info window, go to the file tab. Next to location, what he says it? If it shows a file path, you can copy and paste in your next post. (If your full real name is in the path, please substitute for it). Who can predict an idea why this song (and others) do not currently synchronizing with the iPod.

  • iPod Classic supports the versions of the song in shuffle mode

When I'm in shuffle mode, my iPod will play all versions of the song of the same title, and I don't want that to happen. I don't know why it is dragging on title only. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, what are the steps to mix songs in a playlist?

I don't know why it would play all the songs of the same title, if you play in "shuffle" mode Who would you play the songs in the order list (random playback is disabled), with the songs in alphabetical order by name of the song.

For random playback of the songs on a playlist, go to the settings on the iPod screen. There is a setting for Shuffle; Set it to the songs. Select the playlist on the iPod screen, without going into the playlist. Press the Play/Pause button. OR you can go in the playlist and select the first song to be played; the following songs will be mixed.

  • What is the order of the removal of the songs to an iPod Classic syncing > somehow my laptop has started the process of synchronization without my knowledge and removed approximately 2,000 songs of my iPod classic. How can I identify which were delete

What is the order of the removal of the songs to an iPod Classic syncing > somehow my laptop has started the process of synchronization without my knowledge and removed approximately 2,000 songs of my iPod classic. How can I identify which were deleted songs? I always manually move files to prevent this. I'm on Windows 10.

Has no way to know that...

If your library iTunes music fits on the storage space of 160 GB of your iPod classic, you just set to automatically sync your entire library of music. Then, it won't matter which has been removed and which do not get deleted, because your iPod music library is the same as your library iTunes music. And iTunes it keeps this way, every time your iPod connection (or click sync , if already connected).

If you don't want "everything" in your iTunes library on your iPod (understandable), you can create a playlist in your iTunes library with all the songs you want on the iPod. Then, set to automatically synchronize the playlist to iPod. Instead of manually managing iPod, you manually manage playlist in your iTunes library. The iPod has no need to be connected. The next time you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes will update the iPod with the same changes. The big advantage is, if something happens like what you describe, or needs to restore iPod (erased) or even if break you your iPod (and get a new), need you a few mouse clicks to solve the problem. Just set it up to sync the same playlist once again, which exists in your library iTunes (not only on the iPod).

You can post back for more information about how to use automatic synchronization to do what you want more easily, go ahead.
