my photoshop cs6 flashing in windows 8
whenever I'm by dragging files or even edit them in photoshop it flickers / flashes for a while.
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this yet? or is it just mine with this problem?

Try to run Photoshop with the SHIFT key is pressed and skip loading part tird plug-in and try to use the Board contact II. A version of plug-ins from third parties have been known to break Photoshop Scrippting.

You don't mention who told you you can transfer the software, but I suspect it wasn't someone from Adobe. Versions are platform-specific, so there is little chance of the installation of the version of Windows on a Mac without the use of a Windows emulator any. Photoshop CS6 extended Vs Windows 10
After that Microsoft forced an upgrade of windows 10 while I was away from my computer.
I tried to run my Photoshop CS6 Extended version 64 bit.
"The Splash screen is displayed and the line of the message says" searching for the Plugin.
I let Photoshop continue his search from one day to the next, without success. the next morning, I checked the Task Manager and it did not any percentage of CPU.
I finished Photoshop and tried to restart with a REBOOT.

Hold down the SHIFT key and launch Photoshop, now this will help you to jump all plugins at startup.

I learned different answers regarding photoshop cs6 being compatible with windows 8. Anyone here using photoshop cs6 on windows 8? Specifically Photoshop cs6 extended? Any information would be appreciated! Thank you
The code base of windows 7, vista, 8, 8.1 are all identical. They are all the same version. They are only point upgrades on the other (according to the information provided by Microsoft)
This means that the chances are pretty good, if it works on vista or 7, it works on 8 or 8.1.
The biggest differences are changes in the user interface in each version of windows, only bugfixes.
That said, the .net code is being updated and it is possible that something written for version 8 will not be backward compatible.
On another note, I haven't heard any complaint use CS6 on 8, so I'm pretty confident it will run. But like everything, there is always this possibility. (It was my warning, lol).

I have a problem with a shortcut customized in Photoshop CS6 and CC. It works fine in Photoshop CS5.
I put the "CTRL + <" shortcut to the command "flatten image." I use it for years, so it's difficult to change my habits of . I saved the shortcuts and everything works fine until I have restart Photoshop.
After restarting Photoshop, the shortcut is automatically set on "CTRL + &"! I edited the file ".kys" where my custom shortcut is saved, and the file is good:
