My policy changed

Somehow, my policy changed in a troubled police.
As far as I know, I have not changed anything in the settings for the police.

I myself found that all Windows updates I had two days, changed the font in letters agitated. I deleted a couple of them and the problem disappeared.

Yet, I think it's very strange that an update, which is designed to HELP the system, is changing the police. So the question is: what Windows updates I can count on and that I can't count on?

    You probably have a virus (probably because you are using under the account administrator for your daily use, which is very dangerous and causes infections to spread).

    If you don't think it's a virus but rather just a configuration problem, you can run the system restore to go "back in time" a few days or weeks to before that the problem started.  This is a great recommendation that I can do, and it is safe because you can cancel it if you don't like the results.

  • My policy changed after an automatic update

    I have windows Vista Premium and yesterday he did an update auto-right after I noticed my computer changed all police

    for something that I don't like and you want to get it back to how it was.

    At first, I thought it was just my gmail account and then when I opened google and saw this police there also and also on my desktop, all the icons have this police

    I tried to change it, but have no idea this that or if I'm doing is OK as long as its doesn't come back to what I want. What is difficult, it's that I don't know the name of the font I had before.

    I tried two things:
    1. Tools-options-content -.

    2 customization-click more-advanced-icon options and choose arial here too

    But the police doesn't seem like arial at all. (I guess that was my arial, unfortunately, I'm not 100% - anyway until you find the name of the font that you had before an update?)

    I have experienced and went to the two methods above and repeated the process of choice of other fonts that could be and its not return me my old policy.

    Nobody knows how to help me? Thanks in advance

  • The custom Snort rules, "EOSTORE FAILED" - cannot commit policy changes

    Hi all

    In MC 6.0.1 I added two Snort customized rules (see end of post), these turned on for 'generating events' in a few different policies of the Intrusion and try to commit changes, but it fails with the message "EOStore failed".  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

    Custom rules are related to Mirai DDoS attacks:

    Alert tcp $HOME_NET-> $EXTERNAL_NET all everything (msg: "Mirai C2 init"; content: "|") 00 00 00 01 | » ; offset: 0; dsize: 4; SID: 1 ;)

    Ensure that its affecting only the custom rules or other premises?

    Could you please check if the NAP is actually committed even after the error display.

  • Do not allow policy changes.

    I'm developing an ActionScript 3.0 for PlayBook application.

    I found this Blackberry Playbook Simulator stuff and I was testing orientation changes.

    I thought I'm only support landscape orientation, but when I changed to the portrait, I saw that my application changes its orientation.

    How can I avoid this? I want an application full screen with only the landscape orientation.

    I have this on - app.xml

    false
    landscape
    true
    true

    We think it's a bug of Simulator, but of course nobody can say with certainty that when we have material.

    If you reduce your app and do rotate, the Simulator only rotation and your application essentially gets dragged along for the ride in a certain way.

    For the moment, assume that if you cannot rotate your application so that it fills the screen, everything is fine.

  • My policy changed completely after the last update of Firefox. It's a little smaller, less fat and much less clear. Please tell me how to solve this problem.

    The default font used on sites like Facebook, Craigslist, Google etc. has become much worse since the last update. It is much less clear, looks almost like a chop and transparent. As if the part of the letters missing. Less "BOLD" and a little bit more smaller institutions. I would like to go back to the way in which the police used to look like, the way it does in Internet Explorer and Chrome.

    Hi miked91, this is probably caused by kb3013455 of update from microsoft that can cause problems of rendering fonts on vista:

    After you have installed the 3013455 security update, you may notice a degradation in quality of text in some scenarios. The problem occurs only on systems running Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2003 SP2. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.

    Reference: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/3013455

    an option may be to tackle this particular update for now until there is a fix from microsoft or you could also look at if there is a graphics driver update available on the Web site of the seller (intel/amd/nvidia) which could also be solved this problem in some cases.

  • Changed security policy Droid Maxx

    Hi all

    Long time Android user. Wife and I own the Droid Maxx XT1080. She began to receive a notification "Security Policy Changed, Internet sharing disabled" this error coincided with no internet connectivity despite being connected to our wifi (which I have cycled power just to be sure it wasn't the problem). I have also restarted the phone, cleared the cache, 'forgotten' & manually reconnected to our wifi with no luck. We also called support of Verizon who have never heard of this error. Someone at - he already heard of this?

    Your wife has the device attached to a work email account? The most obvious thing I can think of is that a new policy has been pushed down.

    The only way to tell for sure is to remove all e-mail accounts and see if it changes. I do not consider this a mistake - it is a change of policy to use... Let us know if this is helpful.

    As you probably understand, setting is translucent because your IT Department at work has controlled this configuration in the field (which is why I have inserted the caveat "unless the domain policy changed that").  When you exit your laptop from work to home, the domain policies remain in place.  If you do not have the administrative rights on the computer, you should always be able to change the policy by using KB266280 of my previous post... but as soon as plug you it into the network of your domain to work, the policy will return.

  • Targeting time - editing the registry - group policy preferences

    I have a client who wants to change the timeouts etc on a screen saver based on the time of day.
    Users often leave a machine (with Bloomberg information) on and operate using another machine while keeping an eye on the BBerg one.
    The plan is to have these Bloomberg machines have a screen long timeout during the day of work and failing, after that, so that users do not have to continually enter a password.

    Looking from the PPM, it must be done via editing the registry.
    I created the policy (sector, screen saver and screen saver on are all together (3 reg updates), then 2 times targeted reg additional updates to update for the screen saver timeout), but the policy applies to logon or a forced gpupdate.  It is not updated when the time change occurs.
    If I run a "gpupdate/force" policy changes based on the time.  I tried a scheduled task to "gpupdate / force" and which does not apply the change.

    Register GPP is not to work for the planning of time, or I'm doing something wrong?

  • How to select and change the LabelFields / ButtonFields table 2D

    Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm new to the blackberry development.

    For a project student I'm working, I have a table 2D-ButtonFields, (I can change LabelFields if it's easier) which I use to create a Sudoku grid.

    I understand that this is really basic but I want the user to simply scroll the table 2D to a particular cell, and be able to type in a number on the keyboard instantly change the label of the ButtonField or LabelField, IE their assumption of Sudoku.

    I have really problems that I'm not familiar with how blackberry accepts user input and how it can be used with the setText method.

    So, essentially, I would like some sort of way to determine the currently selected cell (without is activated) and then for this selected cell so that the setText() method applied

    Can someone help me? I can post a code if it helps but I'm not sure it will as you al will understand how basic it is.

    Thank you in advance and I hope I can return the favor as soon as

    You can use a focuschangelistener to be aware of policy changes. or call the getLeafFieldWithFocus() to retrieve the current field.

    You can't make buttonfields editable, but you can read user input and treat it.

    for sudoku you need only numbers, you can use the keyChar method to read the characters.

    Check if your target field is one of your buttons. Check to see if the tank is entered or Louis tank (Keypad.getAltedChar) is a number (Characters.isDigit).

    You can call setText on of the buttonfield.

  • Policy playBook

    I create an HTML5 WebWorks for PlayBook application and I fight problems with orientation changes. I see now why so many applications PlayBook, such as Facebook, simply lock direction or another. I know that to get a good solution to this problem I must describe clearly. I talked to a couple of guys WebWorks RIM to the DevCon on this subject. I'm not sure that my description of the problem was clear enough to realize what I was describing, so they suggested that I try on the latest version of the SDK WebWorks. It is always a problem in WebWorks 2.2.0.5.  (On the BONE 1.0.7.3312 and OS 2.0.0.3778)

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Portrait (OK)--> Landscape (OK)--> Portrait (NOT OK)--> Landscape (OK)

    ----------------------------------------------------

    If a page is initially rendered in portrait and landscape mode orientation changes, it is treated the same as if you just resized a 600 x 1024, 1024 x 600 browser window. Font sizes and dimensions in pixels fixed to objects are not performed at all. The page is simply a new made and sank to new dimensions of the screen. It works like a browser window resizing. It's predictable and good.

    Now... If you return the device in portrait mode on the page is quite about 50% smaller. A

    which has been set to 300px wide appears as if she's only 150px wide and the text it contains is tiny. This is absolutely NOT what than a browser when you resize a window of 1024 x 600 600 x 1024. A browser would continue to abide all the font sizes and size of the fixed elements. It would simply be re-flow the page to the new dimensions.

    It's unpredictable and bad because the size of the elements and fonts into portrait mode is VARIABLE depending on how the page was initially rendered. Portrait is rendered to the size specified for the first time, BUT in a smaller size, the second time.

    ----------------------------------------------------

    Sorry for the slow response. I've been very busy and I forgot I had even posted the issue here. To try to solve this problem, I tried a lot of things. Most had to do with detection of direction of changes/window resizes and adjusting the window width and height than online. This method works very well but it is not necessary. The PlayBook Gets the height and width sometimes confused and ends up making the display window at 1024 x 1024.

    The simplest solution is to place the following tag in the header of your page:

    Quite simply... Tell the device to leave only descaling continuously.

    I found that it is better not to try to use the width or height of the this meta tag attributes. The device merges if you do this. I tried this way, hard coded to the size of the pixels, and by using the device-width and device-width keywords. I couldn't have a consistent behavior using this technique. I also tried to change the meta tag of dynamic display on the policy changes by using javascript. That too is unpredictable, but if you want to try it here is a sample:

    $(WinElem).resize( function(){
        var viewport = WinElem.document.querySelector("meta[name=viewport]");
        var height = $(WinElem).height();
        var width = $(WinElem).width();
        if( width > height ) {
            // changed to landscape
            viewport.setAttribute('content', 'width=1024, height=600, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0');
        } else {
            // changed to portrait
            viewport.setAttribute('content', 'width=600, height=1024, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0');
        }
    });

  • Inspect traffic over the policy apply

    Hi people

    I use Virtual Center of 64-bit version 5.3.1.4 defense and I'm trying to understand this option under the access control strategy - Advanced tab. What I try to do, is to allow the loss less than policy changes, at the moment with this option enabled, there are a few seconds interruption of network traffic when the policy is applied. I use inline module of firepower on an ASA5525 by the way. It seems natural that there should be an interruption while the configuration is reloaded on an online service, but the manual is not very clear about the box.

    Someone has a better idea what is this option?

    Concerning

    Fredrik

    Hi all

    Let me add in it.

    Power module of fire ASA because of changes in policy or any other reason causing snort recharge. Feature 'feature inspect during the policy applies"does not work for the SAA. The reason behind this is the architectural difference between the devices of firepower (material of the series 7000 and 8000) and modules ASA firepower. In devices, there is a charging wire that supports policy changes without affecting the current treatment of traffic.

    Old behavior (5.4.0.4, 5.4.1.3 and before)

    ASA in rescue mode is based on the heartbeat sensor dplane response to work around the packages. But what snort process restarts due to policy change or driver of any other ground of the sensor responds to the heartbeat ASA and ASA never understands if Snort processes are declining. In this case, ASA continue to send packets to sensor (with Snort down) as well as the packages are removed causing a breakdown of small network size.

    Ill CSCuv91730 (for ASA) and CSCuu68273 (firearms) were introduced to solve this problem.

    New behavior (5.4.0.5, 5.4.1.4 and later versions)

    With the new behaviors introduced ASA will send rescue configuration to sensor backplane header. This information is sent to basic package by the context. ASA expects this sensor to return the package if the flag is set, and even Snort fell. Then, when ASA will receive the same package the snort is down.

    ASA press release fixed side has been published on ORC, but we are still waiting for Sourcefire side fixed (it was fixed, we are waiting for fixed output but I guess a fix is available for this.)

    Thank you

  • Orientation change not right when rotating rear

    Hi all

    I just found a problem when trying to listen to policy changes. I am using SDK 1.0.1 and test on a device with OS 1.0.3.1868 installed. I hope that I can make clear:

    If I rotate the camera 360 degrees in the same direction, everything works fine. However, when I change the direction things become messy.

    Say my current orientation is in position 1 and I rotate in a clockwise direction to position 2. 2 position, if I tilt left back to position 1 fires a change event, but it is not actually change the orientation. The orientation itself remains in position 2, but it raise an event for change as evidenced by a screen flash.

    Now, the machine always shows the 2 position, but the device itself is physically in position 1. I have to physically rotate to position 2 and then back to 1 to see the content according to position 1.

    [edit]

    In other words, to get this behavior, I need to run a device twice. First of all in all directions, then in the opposite direction.

    The operating system changes to the correct position. The scene registers an ORIENTATION_CHANGE or RESIZE event, but not a real change that remains in the same position.

    [/ Edit]

    I listened to StageOrientationEvent.ORIENTATION_CHANGE and Event.RESIZE scene with the same results.

    If I'm missing what is obvious, or is this a bug? I found in the incident handler.

    Code attached.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Is it possible to change the dimensions of the stage to the editing in Adobe animate CC?

    Dear community:

    After spendig years to forget my beloved Flash and learn to master the animate dashboard superb I'm back now to formerly Flash, lack of edge animate and experience some old restrictions in CC animate it that drive crazy me. I hope you have a solution for the problem:

    I use external Java - / HTML5-based interactive animations (formerly RIA) Java - / HTML5-based Windows Universal applications (apps-in-a-app) through the MS WebView object. These applications must be able to recognize the changes in orientation of devices and the content in the new landscape to portrait (resp.). Animate of edge did an amazing job to do this:

    Edge animate, the scene was just a symbol that could be changed to the timeline, even in its dimensions. In animations to edge-come to life, he lived above all layers in the timeline. So I opened the way to, say, image 0 to certain dimensions of the landscape and to, say, 100 image to the dimensions of the picture. Using build-in orientationchange action then activated the app is gone to the frame when the user has changed the orientation of the device. I found this easy way to meet policy changes a big improvement.

    However, on a canvas created in Adobe HTML animate CC (formerly Flash) scene seems to be always static, as if it were the case in bad times of Ol' Flash '.

    My question is: there's a possibility to manage the scene as a single clip on top and resize the dimensions to an arbitrary key image as if it was possible in Egde Animate in Adobe animate CC?

    Otherwise, I would like to make a suggestion for this feature of the art Adobe animate CC.

    Thanks in advance - Jochen

    ClayUUID thanks for your reply.

    First of all, I definitely know the difference between Java and JS. It was just a typo which I apologize deeply. Please read JS instead of Java.

    Plus, I could not implement your canvas.height/canvas.width in the Panel shares. However, I tried the following and it works:

    var page_canvas = document.getElementsByTagName ("canvas") [0];

    stageWidth = page_canvas.width;

    stageHeight = page_canvas.height;

    page_canvas. Width = 600;

    page_canvas. Height = 400;

    However, this technique requires a complete programmatic, the new style of all the elements of the scene (layers). An alone cannot do this task visually (as designers would do, or he is so on board animate), and we can't do it on different time periods (as we have beachfront animate). It would be a great improvement, Adobe would incorporate these characteristics of edge animate animate CC - at least for HTML5 canvas projects.

    Finally, yes it is possible with a lot more afford to animate CC.
