My PPT file that I normally convert to Word usually goes from 600 KB in size similar to the word PPT, now it keeps converting a file from Word 8 200 Ko... Please help :)
For 7 years, I create Powerpoint presentations then go file/send to / Microsoft Word and using Notes with blank lines options. If the TPP is 605KO the Word document is quite small. But for some reason some today - it is by my file 605KO turn into a 8 200 KB Word document. It is slow and massive. My big problem is that I take the Word file and merging with others to make a manual. I talked to my Service Desk at the office and they can not help it is urgent... So I am hoping that someone out there knows a quick fix. Assistance Service has tried to make the detection and repair, but it didn't matter. I'll take suggestions :)

I have Windows 8 is installed and an iso of Windows 8.1 on my USB.
My previous version of windows (which is already installed on the hard drive) will erase if I boot from a bootable USB. Please help me!
When you upgrade to 8.1 Windows it will replace your Windows 8.0. The only way I know to have both is to buy a copy of Windows 8.1 and install on another partition or drive. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

Do not install an operating system is usually caused by (in order of probability):
1. you are trying to install with other devices connected to the computer. Unplug them before trying to make an installation.
2. "" "" defective installation media. "" Check the CD/DVD installation for scratches, tasks. Try another machine. Or support of incorrect installation, for example by trying to use an OEM brand (HP, Dell, etc.) of the disc in a different brand or generic computer.
3. bad optical drive. Test with another CD/DVD bootable or Exchange for a well-known work.
4. faulty RAM. Test with Memtest86 + www.memtest.org . You will download the .iso image file to create a bootable cd. Burn the file with the third party burning software *-as an image, not in the form of data. Then start with the media that you did (you may need to change the boot priority in your BIOS so that the optical drive is the first boot device). The test runs immediately. The test run for an hour or two--at least that errors are seen immediately. If you get any errors, replace the RAM.
* It is not necessary to have a third party burning software in Windows 7 since Win7 natively allows to burn an .iso. Other operating systems require it. A good free choice ImgBurn comes from www.imgburn.com .
5. bad hard drive. Test with a diagnostic utility downloaded from site of the disc mftr... You create a bootable CD with the files you download. Burn the file with a third-party burning software (unless you have Windows 7, that allows to record the .isos natively) - as an image, not in the form of data. Boot with the CD that you have done and do a full test of the reader. The physical tests fail, replace it.

Review HP support site, or use diagnoses of HP, a shortcut to that would probably be on your desktop (if you installed according to the instructions from HP, their cd and does not just plug the printer)

What happens when you try to convert your files? You receive an error message? If so, what is it?
In the meantime, try the following:
- Empty the cache of the browser, and then try again.
- Use a different web browser.
- If you have a large number of files in the folder root your Acrobat.com account, move some of these files in a subfolder. (The new folder icon is in the upper right).
- If you use the service by the reader, choose Help > updates to ensure that you have the latest version.

I just got Update Manager installed in my vCenter installation 5.1. I have a few esxi 5.0 and a single esxi 4.0. I was trying to update step 4.0 host, but the small/var/tmp/cache 500 MB (on / partition) is too small. So, I changed in the conf file (/ etc/vmware/esxupdate/esxupdate.conf) the location of the temperature to be one of the mounts datastore that has lots of free space. I then try to redo step, and it failed with error 16, impossible to parse the config. I look at the config now, and it's completely empty, 0 bytes. I'm dead in the water. It was the 4.0 System I only, so no way to watch another.
If you have a system of ESXi 4.0 and can please copy - paste the contents of this file here, which might make me upward and the race. I checked 5.0 systems, and they don't seem to have this file. (found one, but the content is different, and it is in a different location)
