  • Equium A100 - screen turns off when I open the lid completely

I recently had a problem with my Equium A100, as when I open the lid fully, the screen turns off.

However, when the half open, the screen is completely visible.

I have attempted to open the screen and can not see loose cables to my knowledge.

Any help on how to solve the problem would be appreciated.

I agree with Akuma. It sounds like a hardware problem and probably the contact loses when you open the lid.
The cable screen should be checked and probably replaced.

  • my screen has changed the wrong way around.

  • Sync worked the wrong way round - I have thebs etc I want, I have ones I don't want.

I have HARD disk problems. I borrowed a computer and the responsible owner Firefox for me - she didn't use it. Firefox has copied all his favorites from his usual browser etc. When I tried to sync, the borrowed machine has put all his stuff on my machine, instead of the other way around. How do I reverse this order?

You can not cancel a synchronization where crushed bookmarks.
You need to restore the bookmarks from a compressed backup .jsonlz4 in the bookmarkbackups folder or the affected computers.

    • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore
  • Satellite L50 - A - display on the screen turned sideways

I have a laptop computer L50 - A Satellite. Almost, I disabled the touch-pad - the cursor is now worked by a mouse, but if I happen to touch the touchpad while typing, all kinds of things happen, and I'd rather it off altogether. My major problem is that tonight I rested my hand on the touchpad and screen unexpectedly made a turn at 90 degrees and Ow works vertically rather than horizontally. How can I activate my screen. Very difficult to get answers so that my head is screwing around trying to read the screen! Any help much appreciated.

CTRL-ALT - and one of the arrow keys

  • The orientation of the screen turned sideways!

My dog stepped on the keyboard and the orientation of the screen is now sideways. How back to the normal orientation?

    Hello
    1. try Ctrl + Alt + arrow right key (or possibly left or up or down arrow.)
    2. go to display settings (from Control Panel or right click on the desktop) and look for an option to rotate the screen.
    3. check the system for an icon for Nvidia Control Panel or similar tray and look for the option "rotate screen" there.

    Hope this helps,
    Don

  • Satellite M100 - screen turns white when you press the bottom of the frame of the screen

    Hello

I have a strange problem with my Satellite M100.

When to start the laptop, the screen is totally blank.
When hand press to the middle part of the bottom of the frame of the screen (black plastic frame) the display looks fine, as long as I am pressing on it.
When let pressing, the screen becomes funny,

Also noticed, when top screen downstairs, appears blurry white screen.
But the screen is OK as long as I pressed the plastic at the bottom of the screen frame.

Any idea would be greatly appreciated, want to confirm which part is faulty, so I can avoid replacing the whole LCD.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

For as far as I know the small part called FL inverter is hidden behind the frame s screen.
Maybe it s something with this part. Who knows it would be necessary to test this
On the other hand, one cannot rule out a display problem

You see, it's hard to say, really a malfunction which part
Therefore, it would be advisable to contact a technician for laptop
