  • How to, and the right way of Scheduling

    Hello world

I look forward to planning to locate some files that I downloaded and I wanted to confirm before doing so if that's what I intend to do.

I base my calendar on: http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/odi/odi_11g/Creat_Schedul_Scen/Creating_Scheduling_Scenario.htm

On the one hand, I have an Excel and an Oracle table, and on the other side, I have an Oracle table to another Oracle table. Two different scenarios.

I have already created two interfaces and executed, they work :-)
    First an Excel to Oracle
The second an Oracle for Oracle

That's what I do to create the calendar.

    1. go in the topology browser > physical Architecture > Agents > Agent Local

    2. develop the procedure and find the one I want? and if not I'll create. Like I did.

What is and how to create a procedure? A procedure is a way to define a sequence of code executed in the order. A procedure is designed to be reused.

As I don't have any, I guess I should create it first, right? I he create by clicking with the right button on procedures, and then selecting Insert procedure, no?

I just want to confirm that it is the correct way to do it; I got this info looking at different posts OBEs.

On the field in name only, name it as I want.
On the source of the technology, according to the source could be either Oracle, Excel, etc..
In my case I need one for excel and for Oracle, which means I should create the procedures as much as I need? For example, I have four excel models, which means that four procedures? Or could create schedules instead of four? And when I discuss the Oracle tables, I should create as many procedures or a procedure different from Excel as the source will be different and many annexes?

Should take a look on another tab? In fact, I have, but all fields are turned off a little for me? Would it be some permission issues?

    3. on the procedure that I have created so far, I have a right click on it and select Generate script like tell me on the OBE. And left by default the fields name and the version.

    4. my agent is running I will carry out certain Interfaces now.

    5. when I increase my new script and get to the establishment of the calendar, I right click on it and I don't get the new planning option. Would it be because of a question of law?

I really appreciate your help with this! I'm trying to get a book on ODI, as the course is very expensive, but the book is not yet out until the end of the month!

Do not hesitate to contact me if any other info is needed.

    Best regards.

    Hi stephanie,.
No worries, not happy your on your way, and welcome to ODI.
Your use of the term 'procedure' is it was a little confusing because I feel that you where logically to speak of a 'procedure' of events you wanted to take place (in the form of interfaces running one after another), whereas an ODI procedure is something different, indeed as a procedure of RDBMS.

  • System Restore with the keyboard and the mouse works do not and do not know admin password

I recently decided to update my drivers on my 9 year old bridge. Apparently the program that I used to do didn't realize a bad driver when he sees... Sort of my keyboard and mouse not responding while windows was loaded. They work enough for me to access the bios, enter the menu start and also when I hit enter to boot from a windows cd.
I'm trying to access my restore points to get rid of the driver that has been installed. Unfortunately when I put the windows CD and try the repair option I can't log on to the volume because it requires an administrator password. I tried Admin admin admin admin and leave blank. I even ran a program to reset passwords (I do not use any which way.) still cannot log on to the volume. I also tried to pass in front of the screen to repair and installation of windows to fix this. I can hit escape and pgup and pgdown but not f8 to agree to the agreement.
When I boot in safe mode with command prompt that it still forces me to click on an account to connect. Which I can't because the keyboard and the mouse do not work when windows is loaded.
I can't get to the command prompt to display the box to help restore points?

  • keyboard and the mouse do not work on the new computer with Win 7 Home Premium

I just bought a new computer game.  The keyboard and mouse work in BIOS.  But when win7 brings me to the first screen for all upward (which requires language and country options) both the keyboard and the mouse both stop working and their lights go out.  The mouse is a Razer Death Adder, who i saw possibly requiring drivers to be installed.  However, the keyboard is a 4000 ergonomic Microsoft natural and I expect that it works.  Can someone please help me get their work.  Any help is appreciated.

  • Problem starting el capitan (sierra) - built-in keyboard and the mouse do not respond

    Hello

I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

later, I delivered safe and I had the same problem again. I did the thing to be able to restart again and improved to sierra in the hope that it would disappear. However, the problem is still there.

I thought I could try to restart my office to see if my keyboard and wireless mouse would still work. Indeed, even if responsiveness was not normal, I could unlock and fill the chest.

I have the impression that my laptop always "believe" it is on my desk, linked to my screen (probably the reason why I don't hear the Bell) and to my wireless K & M.

It's really annoying and I hope someone has a solution.

    Thank you very much

    best,

    Alex

I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.

OK to reset to factory settings to allow hopefully laptop to read CDs again, then downloaded installed sp1 and lost control of the keyboard and the mouse, and still can not play music not forget hadda restart in safe mode to use the system restore to just installing the sp1 b4

    Hi MartyFenwick,

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will certainly help the question of fixing.

To help you suggest several steps to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    6. what happens when you try to play music CDs?

    7. what program you use to play the CD?

Please follow the methods and mark the question below:

Before you install SP1, follow the method 1 and 2.

    Method 1:

You need to perform a clean boot to prevent any third party conflicting application from interfering with your computer.

    System: HP 3135 Pro

    Mouse Logitech RX250

This problem started on October 16:

The Microsoft forum is not clear about this error, would be something regarding the HP computer?

    Any help is welcome.

    Hello

There were some problems with the last batch of reviews/recommended Windows updates this month this.

Among the updates disabled device USB 2.0 from a USB vendor specific drivers. I found a web reference that can explain what has happened to you. I think that the update has been removed from Windows Update. This article may shed some light on your problem.

You can install each update manually until you find the cause of your problem. Unfortunately, when you find it you will have to restore the system again and avoid this update. Or Microsoft could have pulled the offending update.

Is it only a matter of HP? Impossible to comment on.

I've updated HP four systems, a Dell laptop and a system tailor-made without any problem.

You really don't want to permanently disable future updates of Windows.

  • Satellite C850D-11 q - keyboard and the Touchpad does not

The laptop is a little more than a year and worked ok until recently.

Symptoms were the keyboard and the touchpad does not not on page 8 of windows logon. Pressing power to put the laptop into sleep and pressing still often got their work.

He progressed to the keyboard and the touchpad works do not randomly points while the use of the laptop.

Finally cleared the HARD drive and restored windows 8 alone, the laptop still BSOD quite frequently - refuses to install the updates required for 8.1 and the keyboard and mouse often do not work even in BIOS Setup page. I reinstalled the RAM and HARD drive.

Short of ideas, the keyboard and the touchpad work and so I guess that their connections are correct - but often they just stop.

    Any ideas appreciated?

    Thank you

    Hello

    > Finally cleared the HARD drive and restored windows 8 only
I hope that you created before Toshiba recovery disks you have formatted the system.
    Did you?

The recovery disks will allow you to reset the laptop to factory settings; on the same State as at the first day of the purchase.

    > First symptoms were the keyboard and the touchpad does not not on page 8 of windows logon. Pressing power to put the laptop into sleep and pressing still often got their work.
Well, usually the keyboard problems are not problems system or software as the keyboard driver is part of the system and an additional installation of some drivers is not really essential and necessary.
That is why in most of the cases the keyboard problems could be the causes of physical problems.

However, after using the recovery disc and the parameters of the laptop back to factory State, both parties (keyboard and touchpad) should work perfectly.

    > the BSOD laptop still quite frequently - refuses to install the updates required for 8.1
BSOD doesn't look very good. As mentioned above; parameters of the laptop back to factory settings should solve all the problems in the system. In the case where the BSOD appears even if the power has been turned back to factory State, a hardware problem could be the reason for this.

I had also some problems with the update 8.1 Win. The system to win 8 could not find the Win 8.1.
But the reason for this was simply. I had to install all updates to Win 8 and had to update the State system before trying to update to the next level following 8.1 Win

So, what can I say: I will try to put the laptop initial configuration using the recovery disk.
Then I would try to get automatic updates (a few reboots were essential too). After that, I would check the functionality of the keyboard and the touchpad. In the case where them parts would not work, I would contact the service to check if the two pieces.

  • loss of function of the keyboard and the touchpad

I am a rural small repair shop and received a HP/Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX to repair the loss of function of the keyboard and the touchpad. My first thought was that the Ribbon connectors came loose. However, when I first turned it on, the keyboard worked to enter the Windows password. Once started, the keyboard would not work. My client had a major sale/repair company and their solution was to install a keyboard on the screen and use a wireless mouse. I started my research in this tthinking of problem that perhaps it was caused by malicious software. Fortunately my client gave me the AC adapter while I was looking for input on the laptop voltage. It wasn't on the outer label, so I removed the battery. I reinstalled the battery and was amazed to find that both keynoard and touchpad work now.

What could have caused this loss of function and why would be to remove and reinstall the battery solve this problem?

It's probably that the battery actually acted as a hard reset.  A hard reset has the effect to remove remaining current EEPROM and other devices on the motherboard.
