  My husband and I share a PowerMac. We each have our own iPhone and iPad. We each have a distinct Apple ID, account and storage iCloud plans.  We want that our a PowerMac to support our two Apple ID iCloud/two distinct worlds. In this way, certain content on our mac, accessed by 1 Apple ID user and reader iCloud is related to and can be synchronized with user 1 Apple mobile devices. And content accessed with 2 Apple ID user and reader iCloud is related to and can be synchronized with user 2 Apple mobile devices. Basically, I don't want some of his stuff on my devices, and he doesn't want that some of my stuff on their devices. I mean, by substance, music, books, photos, videos, e-mails, messages, same brand-pages and playlists. We would like to share some information on the mac, like contacts, passwords (keychain?), calendar, a few photos, files and business-related content. Most of the music library (which he doesn't) is saved on separate disk.

  When I tried to sync my iPad with our mac, iCloud account seemed to be at the top of the hierarchy on the mac. I was asked to sign to her iCloud account and sign in mine. But when I signed on my iCloud account, I saw the message that I am already connected to my iCloud account. This caused his e-mail on the mac to disappear as well as everything else under his iCloud account.  Family sharing with the iCloud parameter does not provide the solution because it also requires a primary account (the Organizer).   As far as I know, what you're describing or thinking of doing is a nightmare, and I don't think it's possible, i.e. some of your data on its account and vice versa.

  Sorry, you're out of luck.  Deactivation of transfer is currently the only way to disable the universal Clipboard.  Just to let you know, the content of your Clipboard is only copied to your device once you paste on the other device.  The Clipboard is NOT constantly pushed to all devices.

  Universal Clipboard does work for my Mac to my iPhone.

  When you try to copy stuff from my iPhone Mac does not seem to be able to paste them.

  I checked the time phone and Mac are recorded in the same Apple ID

  The Wi - Fi or Bluetooth connection are on both devices

  I disabled and enabled the transfer option in the settings of devices

  Someone knows what to do?

  Me too. Exactly the same problem. I have iPhone 6 with iOS 10.0.1 and MacBook Air Early-2015 with macOS Sierra installed on Mac App Store, this morning. Mac & iPhone copy paste works, but the reverse is not.

  The requirements for the universal Clipboard for iMac is not correct. It should work on my iMac mid 2011, but it doesn't. It works on my Macbook Air mid-2013, so I know it works in general.

  Problem:

  "I can't the universal Clipboard to work, even if I met all conditions prior and followed all the guides available at present".

  I have the following devices:

  • MacBook 12 "retina (Early 2015) with macOS Sierra, official release;
  • iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 10, official release.

  What follows is activated/enabled:

  • Bluetooth on both devices;
  • Wi - Fi on both devices.
  • Discount on both devices;
  • Same account iCloud on both devices.

  Things I've tried, with absolutely no results:

  • Copy and paste between the devices, both ways, but it does not (even after a few moments of waiting).
  • Deactivating Bluetooth on both devices and reactivation;
  • Disabling a Wi - Fi connection on both devices and reactivation;
  • Deactivation of discount on the two devices and reactivation;
  • ICloud on both devices and connection disconnect rear;
  • Restart both devices;
  • Reset NVRAM/SMC on Macbook;
  • Looking for updates (both are up to date).

  Details:

  "All other Sierra macOS / iOS 10 features work as expected." Transfer (and other characteristics of continuity - including mobile data sharing) works without any problem at all. It is only the universal Clipboard feature that does not work. I also ran a check of the system, Wi - Fi and Bluetooth chips are defective on these 2 devices. »

  I reinstalled Mac OS Sierra and apparently it solved the problem.

  I don't know there was some preference and/or a file that has changed somewhere. It's a little extreme, but again, it is the only one who gave convincing results.

  Although not listed here, all data transmitted to the Apple servers is encrypted in transit and on the server.

  I can't offer any advice on the question of whether your transmissions could be intercepted and decoded.

  They say they also unequivocally that they never provide encryption keys to any third party. Which has been further strengthened with their recent dealings with the FBI.

  Lost the feature universal paste. Manually add them back in keyboard shortcuts. They do not work in all programs. If I copy and paste a url in a browser, it is not paste in ANYTHING. What an absolutely frustrating experience! The most common features have disappeared and now they don't work well. Really? Come on Apple! This is not what Mac users are accustomed to Apple.

  Run disk utility to see if the startup disk needs repair.

  You can also try a Safe Mode boot that removes the system caches that can help...

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

  After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

  To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

  Then try to copy / paste keyboard shortcuts.
