My wife has Firefox 4.0 Beta 10 installed on a desktop PC, and it has found no way to manage toolbars - no "back" button, etc. How to manage its toolbars? Ted

His copy of Firefox 4.0 seems to miss several command buttons. How can I add controls or toolbars? I tell myself that there must be a place that will allow me to change the interface. Thanks in advance.

    Follow these steps.

    1. Go to Download Firefox 4.0.1 and download the installer to your desktop.
    2. Then go to add/remove programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and delete it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations, etc. (don't tick the box).
    3. Reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    4. Finally, run the installation file downloaded previously on the desktop.

    Your bookmarks, etc., customizations are stored in a different location and will become available to you even once you complete the installation.

    After completing the installation, go to the Plugins check page and update if necessary.

  • Acrobat has changed the way it manages portfolios?

    I feel like I'm going crazy. Years, I have used Acrobat Pro XI to create and combine PDF files. Often I select individual PDF in Windows Explorer, right-click and select combine files in Acrobat.... This brings me to a window with thumbnails of all the files, which I can reorganize, then save the collection in a single file. Previously, it would then open a window with a single multiple page PDF file. But today I was forced to install Flash just to be able to open the file. now, there is a considerable delay and the window is not displayed a single multiple document, but a collection of individual documents. This seems to be a huge step backward. How can I get the old functionality back?

    It seems that you have selected the option of portfolio combining pdf files.
    When you select the file and choose "combine files into Acrobat", a dialog box appears, click the button 'options' and make sure that you have selected 'Single file' against the file type option and then combine files.

  • I just spent 2 full hours trying to synchronize Firefox on my desktop pc and my android phone. Won't work, even if I follow all the instructions correctly.

    I went to FIREFOX, CONFIGURE the SYNCHRONIZATION. I created a new account (address email, password twice, box for the General conditions of privacy, anti-robot box). On a separate tab, a screen appears with the message "Set up complete! I've closed this tab, then went to PAIR A DEVICE pc, entered screen code that appeared on the screen to CONFIGURE the FIREFOX SYNC to my phone, and then click NEXT. The phone showed immediately (a busy area horizontal) activity, with the message "Waiting for device"... After 7 minutes, the default phone CONFIGURE the FIREFOX SYNC with a new code in the 3 boxes, and the default pc on-screen set UP SYNC with 2 buttons, set UP the SYNCHRONIZATION and a PAIR DEVICE. Somewhere in the process described above (I don't remember exactly where...), the pc asked me a RECOVERY KEY - which I could not find anywhere, either on the phone or the pc. I repeated it at least 5 times, always with the same result-no. Somewhere in the instructions, it describes a "manage the ACCT" button to Sync Accts - No. SUCH BUTTON APPEARS ANYWHERE, nor the pc and the phone.     When you open the desktop synchronization page (Tools > options > sync) makes it look like the image below? If it is not so sync is not installed on the desktop computer.

  • My computer has been destroyed and I have to re - install all my software.  I found my Adobe Acrobat order with serial number, but I have not found a way to re - download the product.

    It would be more logical if the base in your style sheet font size was larger. Can change you it? If so, try to double the font size and to halve the size of the relative picture:

    I think that will be more widely compatible. There may be some details that I missed, but hope this helps.

    If you go to C:\Program Files, you will notice no doubt there's a Mozilla Firefox folder and a file Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 1. Make sure that you have closed a Firefox window, you have open, and then open the firefox.exe in the Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 1 folder.

    The executable files for the two versions of Firefox are different, please make sure that your shortcuts are designed to the right.
