  Acrobat 9 is quite old and not longer supported. The last Windows OS that could use Acrobat 9 has Windows 7 and Acrobat had to have all updates applied.

  You need to upgrade to Acrobat DC.

  (c) run this command at the cmd prompt: sfc/scannow

  Hello, this morning photoshop decided to play in place and new images I try to open to edit, I get this message. "Could not complete your request because the file was not found".    The same problem occurs with all types of files with the exception of the .psd files.

  And incase its relavent, whenever I click Open the ' enable:' option is empty and "Format:" photoshop is the default value. With these settings, all the files in my finder and grayed out, so I change "enable" to all readable documents that ungreys them.   Uninstalling and reinstalling rarely corrects problems.  Try resetting preferences.  Launch PS and immediately press Ctrl Alt Shift (shift of option cmd on mac).  If quick enough, you will get a window to reset.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  You will need to have the original CD of Office Student and teacher available to installation installation. If she has been pre-installed by your OEM when you purchased your computer, you will need to get the disks to reinstall.  Go back to where you bought your copy and see if they will provide records. (This may likely not).
