MyFitnessPal App drain my battery iWatch

I used MyFitnessPal for 2 weeks.  Yesterday my iWatch battery was drained before 17:00.  The App is causing the battery drain?  How to stop the problem?

Hello

You have been suspended in a third-party - like Strava - fitness on your watch application.

If so, ensure that you finish training activities in this app on your watch, not on your iPhone (including those who may still be suspended now).

  • Mail application drains the battery on the iphone 6 (iOS 9.2)

    Hello

Since the 9.2 update my apple mail app drains the battery really fast. It has 3 accounts (outlook, apple, imap) and tried to extract emails not to push but did not help. When I check in the menu of the battery in the last mail 24 hours with 2 min on screen + 2 min backgroud used 17% (this is equivalent to Facebook 28 min 45 min phone used only 9% or + 22 min back). I tried other email applications, but for me, this one is pretty good and does not want to use another app for something I already have. Is there any solution for this or should I wait for an update of the software?

    Thank you

Have you tried force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again?

You won't lose data, but it can cure some problems after installing new software.

For some users, deleting the mail account and adding back once the phone reboots worked, especially when you use an exchange account.

    Hi pierrezep,

Thanks for the update to iOS 10.02! I understand that after the update your Messages application uses a very high amount of your battery. You can try to force quit the Messages app and relaunch.  Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  • iOS 10.02 draining iPhone battery 6.

    I've recently updated to iOS 10.02 on a 64 GB Iphine 6.

Since the update, my battery life is much shorter than before.

I tried all the usual: updating in the background app off, low battery, reduce the brightness of the screen, e-mail mode to extract location turned OFF... services manually, even deleted some applications like YouTube, I used a lot of battery.

The battery life is weak to the point of when you use the phone, it will drop to 1% about every minute.

So annoying and frustrating as the update software just aggravates the phone and I reduce the amount I use, and the worse the way I use it.

Is there something that I am missing?  will there be an iOS 10.03 soon to fix the battery drain error?

While typing that I lost 5% battery... so boring.

What is find solutions to this?  I'm having the same problem.

  • "no cell coverage" is draining my battery.

my battery has recently started to empty very quickly. I looked in the useage bites and there is a section is called "no cell coverage" that he uses to leasdt 60% of battery in 24 hours.  Yes, I'm in a poor area of cell, but that's not the problem that it is has three identical phones in our House. they do not have this problem, or if they post this "feature". I asked all the apple users I know and no one has this 'no guaranteed cell' listed in the battery settings. Please can you tell me how to turn off or better yet, get rid of it. Thank you very much

It is a new display setting in iOS 9.2. When cell coverage is low the phone increases its power output in order to maintain a connection. A weak signal uses 10 times more energy than the strongest signal, so it can if drain a battery very fast if you are on a call, and it will still flow battery when not online because the phone reports periodically its location on the network if an incoming call can find your phone. In addition to other things complicate, if you regularly lose signal completely the phone to send a page "where are you?" to the network to reconnect. He is sent to full power. If there is no response he reiterates demand periodically, with longer and longer delays between pages. However, if it reconnects and often loses connection, pages are transmitted frequently without awaits liked, yet after draining the battery.

All cell phones work in this way, including the iPhone. In the past, all this happened behind the scenes, if you don't know that the mere fact that your battery doesn't last that long in a weak signal area. With iOS 9.2 (and possibly 9.1) the battery monitor now shows you in this regard. You will only see if it uses more than 1% of your total battery consumption.

Also note that the display of the battery is a percentage of a percentage. That is 60% means that 60% of the use of batteries in the past 24 hours, 60% of the battery capacity. So if your phone is using 50% of the total capacity of the battery (the top display says 50% bar) this means that 'no cell coverage' is used 60% 50%, which is (0.6 x 0.5) 30% of the use of batteries for the period.

ADDENDUM: If you tap on settings/battery screen it will show the actual time that each app in energy consumption spent running in the foreground and background.

  • Google services drain my battery.

Google services and Google Photos have been draining my battery and causing it to heat again. This has been a persistent problem that happens from time to time. I'm looking for solutions and advice here, so it would be great if someone help me with this.

If all else fails, I could do a software repair or factory reset, but I try to book as a last resort because I know that all data will be erased.

I have some screenshots of battery management and will be prepared to if necessary poster.

    Settings--> Apps--> Services Google Play-> Storage-> manage space-> erase all data

    Restart the phone (judgment, market).

NB! You need to connect to Google again.

  • It seems that my iPod touch 5th generation drains my battery quickly

I don't use my iPod touch frequently during the day. I do use internet for and a few games, no video, just Board Games. I still frequently find the pod touch low device running every two days. I'm surprised. My iPad mini retains power for a longer period of time, and I use it more frequently. Bigger battery? I do not know. I have been updating my iPod touch over the years to the last generation, and this is the worst experience I had to drain the battery. What is the latest generation of IOS? I do not know. Any comments would be useful. Thank you.

My 4th, 5th and 6th gen touch all had battery short life. As it is even now I charge mine every night.

I think it's more a battery which is part of the question.

I invested in one of these portable Chargers, so that might be an option, in that you can watch. I also have a charger at work I use in the middle of the day.

  • Flash Player drain my battery?

I have a home security camera and you must install it for display on the web while I will not stay at home.  I realize that flash player drains my battery fast.  I decided to uninstall it to save my battery.  A few days later, Apple told me to update flash player with the message 'flash player was released to date. I ignored this message because I don't want to drain my battery again.  After that, I opened a Web site.  Safari does not allow me to reach the Web site, but it always appears with the link to download flash player.  I clicked on the link and install then a 'Megabackup' application is also installed in my mac. I don't know what it is and what it does.  Now I have two applications installed in my mac are megabackup and flash player.  I want to uninstall it, but I wonder if apple is asking me to update the 'flash player' again.

Apple did not update you Flash. Apple doesn't use Flash on any of its web properties, nor does it include Flash with OS X.

You clicked on a message to update flash scam. This is Commons. Flash must be updated if often that he is a prime target for con artists and the malware distributors, used to trick unsuspecting users into installing shit them instead.

NEVER download flash player from anywhere other than directly on adobe.com.

Regarding the flash causing the excessive battery use, Yes, he does. It is well documented.

  • I use my MacBook Air as a desktop computer. Should I leave the charger plugged all the time or should I drain the battery and then recharge? What is the best for the battery?

I use my MacBook Air as a desktop computer. Should I leave the charger plugged all the time or should I drain the battery and then recharge? What is the best for the battery?

Keep the computer plugged in whenever possible.

If you keep the computer always connected, make sure that at least twice a month

Run it on battery until battery charge level falls to about 40-50%.

Please don't completely discharge the battery. Discharge the battery completely will reduce wear and tear on the battery.

"The question is often asked:" should I disconnect my laptop from the mains when not in service? Under normal circumstances it should not be necessary because as soon as the lithium-ion battery is full, a properly functioning charger will stop the load and load the pad will only engage when the battery voltage drops to a low level. Most of the users do not remove AC power, and this practice is safe. »

  • iPhone drains the battery faster under 9.3.1 - possible?

Is it just me or drain the battery faster under 9.3.1 on my iPhone 6?

It feels as if 'normal' use I make of the phone takes less time... In particular, sit and do nothing as during night.  The only thing that I have changed a few months back, it's turning off BT, I lost my helmet, but it was before 9.3.1. Its not horrible, it just feels like it lasts less time...

Everyone with an iPhone 6 (64 GB in my case) who suffers?

  • Fact ' slide to power on "drain the battery? / How to turn it off.

Just, I got my W520 and noticed that the fingerprint sensor has failed in this setting (after I turn off the led is lit green). How fast did it drain the battery? It is an interesting possibility, but at least I can connect to the password of the bios is nothing more than a gimick I can say.

    -FDP

No need to go into bios. Open "Thinkvantage fingerprint software"-> settings-> authentication (first tab), under the "safety walk", uncheck the "footprint user digital instead of the power button
