Mysterious mobile folder: Music folder has mysteriously moved into my photo folder

original title: mysterious movement file

My Music folder mysteriously moved into my image folder and I can't understand why.  The record is on 34gbs so there is no way I could have accidentally moved on mine without noticing.  Anyone has any idea how it happened and what I can do to prevent it from happening again?

You may have accidentally dragged - fell into the photo folder.  Move a folder - even that which is several hundreds of gigabytes - only takes about one second (assuming both are stored on the same drive).  This is because the move operation is really just an update a line to the NTFS file system data table: none of the files are actually "moved" the reader is concerned.  Copy, however, takes time because the reader must actually write every file.

It is most likely.  I would be it back to where you want and see if it happens again.

Alternative: if it's a library and not a folder: you can check to see if your photo library is actually, in fact, just your music folder content aggregation.  You can open your pictures folder, and then click the link "Includes 2 sites" at the top to change what one or more folders appear in the photo library.

If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!

Method 3: How to prevent duplicateor entered invalid frombeing added to mylibrary during playback of music files?

When you move digital media files on your computer, the file name and file path information remain unchanged in your library. Then when you select a file to play to its new location, a new entry is created in your library if you select the option automatically added to your library when played. As a result, your library can quickly contain a large number of entries, duplicate or invalid.

To prevent it be automatically added to your library of music files
    a. in Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click on Options.
    b. on the Player tab, clear music to add to the library when played check box.
Now, when you play music on your computer or the Internet, the file will not be added automatically to your library.

  • Error: "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed or deleted'

Original title: laptop won't read the music files stored on external hard drive

I have an old Compaq laptop Windows XP, so it was out of memory I transferred everything on a Portable Seagate (500 GB) hard drive and started to access it. It's worked well for over a year, but lately, began to stop playing my music files. Absolutely everything on the hard drive opens, however, images, files and folders, but when I go into Windows Media Player, it pops up with this error message:

Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to read, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.
I have not modified parameters or anything that moved. I used to be just able to restart the laptop, or disconnect and reconnect the hard drive and it works again, but now it or not will be not at all, or it will cut off half way through a song and then not to play anything more.
I can't find any support for this problem because the phone reads that the hard drive is there, and everything else works. Only the music doesn't. I tried to play music on a connected USB and it works fine. I'm so confused!

And then, you export the file in RGB or CMYK?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like you save in a color space such as ProPhotoRGB, that do not support most web and mobile devices. To do this, you will need to save color sRGB space.

Many people work and save RGB and only use CMYK when you print.

For support of World of Warcraft, see: http://us.blizzard.com/support/index.xml?locale=en_US (I don't know what version you're talking about, so I can't be more specific).  In fact, all I could find was a page of e-mail support: https://us.blizzard.com/support/webform.xml?locale=en_US - not a telephone number or a chat service.  This is a forum for technical support for WOW: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=11110&sid=1 where you may be able to find additional help.  BattleNet is something recent (not quite new) support for games (and your user information) and games.  If it works, it should HELP you with these problems, not cause them.  It seems that your installation does not work properly - you can try to do again the installation - do not forget to read the instructions carefully (maybe by first uninstall everything and then re-install) - but I would contact their support email group and/or the forum first to see if they can help you more easily on the problem.

If this does not work, try the suggestion of Michael Murphy.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
