• Exception when using tnsnames AND ezconnect resolution methods with managed Oracle ODP 12 c rel.3

  We are looking at upgrading to a web service to connect to Oracle using the unmanaged to the ODP ODP managed (12 c module 3).

  We use tnsnames and have the following configuration in the sqlnet.ora file: NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (TNSNAMES, EZConnect).

  The resolver EZConnect is necessary because we use an OracleDependency object for database update notifications.

  When moving to the managed driver, a SocketException exception is thrown when you try to open a new connection. Looking at the call stack, I can see that the managed Oracle driver, actually a 'OracleInternal.Network.EZConnect' object, calls System.Net.Dns.GetAddrInfo to get an IP address, but with the alias tns as a parameter. Of course, it fails with this exception "unknown host".

  So it seems to me that there is a problem combining tnsnames, ezconnect manned ODP managed!

  Someone else who has experienced this and found a solution, or it could be an error in the driver?

  This problem seems to have been fixed in the version of 12 c 4.

• monitor and TV resolution problem

  I have a computer connected to a monitor and a TV, using the configuration double monitor.  The problem I have is that when I put in place the TV and computer screen to display the same resolution, the icons on the computer screen are moving to a point approximately one inch above the bottom of the screen of the monitor.

  I can't have the icons to stay closer to the bottom of the screen, as they do on my other computer that has two computer screens.

  No idea what I can do about it?

  Have you tried setting the screen of the computer at its optimal resolution and the same thing with the TV? Chances are they'll be different. Check your TV manufacturers site to see what is best for your TV.

  I downloaded the latest trial 9 Captivate for Windows 10 and screen resolution problems. Basically, making the software unusable.   I have this strange problem in 11 G R2. When I use tnsalias and connect using sqlplus username/password@TNS it shows ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. But the same works with ORACLE_SID. See below.

  If you are certain that you have the correct number of series, there are really not much that we can help you here. You can try to download and install the latest version of Lightroom 2. This will be the trial version, but when the trial screen there is an option to indicate that you have a serial number. Either way, Lightroom serial numbers start with the four first digits being 1160.

  OK, here's my problem. I had Windows Vista, has been sick with it. I'm not used to ask someone if I can or can not install some software or OS, so I have two formatted partitions (recovery hp too) and installed windows 7 now, I discovered that he had a lot of problems with the drivers.   Dan or one of the others may be able to help if you post exactly what indicates the error.

  As you say you are not a noob so maybe you need to change something in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Maybe go to the advanced option when you're at NVIDIA.

  Personally when I clean installs I delete, and format the entire disk before installing W7. Doing it this way usually prevents this kind of error occurs. When you use the W7 install disk to format, it may not remove all of the old files registry Vista and can cause problems.

  If you start from scratch once again, this may solve your problem, but there is no guarantee.

  It took 4 tries on my HDX from Vista to W7 to do things.

  I just took a glance at my NVIDIA advanced and under Show options there is an option to "manage custom resolutions. Here I could input what I wanted. What's your has that?

  With connections to the OIC, Oracle uses its native interface to the database.
  This means that an Oracle Client compatible with the version of the database must be installed and the SQL * Net must be configured.

  To achieve this:

  1. the version of the JDBC driver must match the version of the Oracle home.

  For example, the Oracle version 9.0.1 JDBC driver requires that the Oracle Home contain version 9.0.1 of the ocijdbc9.dll, as well as the Oracle network software and required Support files.

  If you connect to a local database which is another version of the JDBC driver that you are using, then you must install the Oracle client software in a separate Oracle home and connect via the Oracle Net Listener.

  an ASCII (probably the csv format) file is just text - and contains all data (intentially) written to. There is no special function to include units or whatever!

  Your colleague must save the information it records the names and values in the same way...

  (When writing to text files, it could use WriteTextFile, FormatIntoFile, WriteToSpreadsheetFile, WriteBinaryFile even could serve...)

  I'm rearchitecturing a 4-channel data acquisition system which includes data acquisition, indexing of data between four channels, signal processing and recording of data.

  All processes are placed in a single loop, and I have subdivided by the following in a producer and consumer two loop (or master with both loops slave), use a queue to manage orders and send the actual data through a notification list. I'm new to this, so I don't know how to go for rearhitecturing but am trying to move several loops. Instead of placing each channel in its own loop, I used only 2 to save duty all architecture. The acquired data are also indexed in the two loops (loop1, loop2):

  Main loop: data acquisition (DAQ Assistant) where Notifier sends data to consumers loops, queue for General commands

  Loop1: bed (table 2D index), addresses and records the data for channels 1 and 2

  Loop2: bed (table 2D index), addresses and records the data for channels 3 and 4

  Question 1: Is it ok to use Notifier and queue in the artchiture (best practices)? I would use two queues, but I find that the program may have a lag (although it lacks all data) and who interrupts the acquisition for the user and I don't want that. I prefer the program to retrieve data in real time and then decided to use the authors of notifications to send data to loops1 & 2. What are the caveats of this? Given that I am gaining at the rate of 1 s/s, maybe it will be enough.

  With respect to the orders queue, this is done and two commands are queued in order to activate loops1 & 2. Using multiple loops slave/consumer, how we manage several channels? the user can choose to acquire all the channels simultaneously or one at a time. I am able to activate the four channels. In this case, because loops can not run in order, how do you ensure that the item is read by the right loop?

  I'm running into a few problems:
  Question 2: synchronizing data - use 'wait on ms' synchronize all loops (main loop and loop1, loop2)
  -data doesn't seem to be very good sync - why is - this? consumer of treatment<>
  -what I'm missing?
  Question 3: processing loss data - because using filers is frozen and using queues is not, I did so that orders of the so-called 'turn on' the two loops is done using a queue. I compared it with the notifiers
  Question 4: Errors - I made loops 1 & 2 output on the notifier error error - they throw an error when the program stops so happy so I was testing for. I read some ni.forums he's talking about is enough, but what are the other types of error monitoring (error reporting)? Thank you very much for reading!

  I programmed so far and it can read all or individual channels but I want check against all cases, that's why I ask these questions to check. I know that architecture may not be the best, so any suggestions would be welcome. I try to get the synchronization of the time and I don't want any data with loss. I have the sample mode: Timed Single Point material. The rate, that I am running is the maximum (250 kHz (15625Hz per channel)). I left the default clock source and trying to taste several times. The analogue input works for a short time (2-3 seconds) and then everything stops. I'm doing something wrong or is there something I'm missing? Any advice would be great.

  That's how you samples using the sample clock clock. If you see a delay then something is wrong with how you track/data visualization.

  I have a laptop HP Dv6 Win7 running and the upgrade of Win10 has been a total disaster.  I restored using Win7 HP recovery media.  I'd rather have a BONE more old where everything works, only a new operating system where things do NOT work.

  As to wait a year, the FREE upgrade expires end of August 2016 - so after that, if you still want to upgrade, you will need to purchase a license - and, unlike with previous versions of OS, MS said nothing about the price for upgrade license, or even if such a license will be available then.
