  Hello

  I bought a tablet with photoshop touch earlier. Now the Tablet is getting really slow, and I want to reset it to factory settings to remove all accumulated waste. And I like to keep my images.

  I do not have a creative cloud subscription, I've never needed it. I thought that just to save images on the Tablet, in the format psdx, make a backup and re - open in my photoshop new and clean after the cleaning tablet. Except that when I navigate on my tablet in the folder where the images are saved, PS button does not see them, only .jpg images are detected.

  So, what should I do to save my images. I don't want to save them in jpg format, I don't want to lose the layers and the mods I made and I want to be able to work on them later. Is there a way to make it work, without spending money on a subscription to creative cloud?

  This is a bug/problem known with "unable to connect to the server. The same thing happens to me when I try to go to browse my files in CC (and I have a subscription to creative photography of cloud) curiously, there is no ongoing disconnection. I can browse to the root of my creative cloud account. just impossible to navigate beyond this.

  If you have created an Adobe ID, you should be golden to download the office OR cloud application log creative here. (The latter would be easier since there is nothing to install, more could you take automatically there, since you are already connected here in the forum.)

  If you can get there, what I would do is export PS projects touch as PSDXs in something like Dropbox, download them via Dropbox on your desktop (via app Dropbox or through their web browser interface that doesn't require you to install anything), and then load them into creative cloud on your desktop. (Again, using the CC desktop application or the web browser interface.)

  Then we can all wait while Adobe what in the world happens with error messages from server that we get all the numbers.  Laughing out loud

  Currently, the only way to open psd files in Photoshop touch is the creative cloud. In addition, the layers you created from Photoshop on your desktop will be be flattened when opened with Photoshop touch on your iPad. But you can keep the touch app layers when you open the psdx file on your desktop photoshop.

• Where Photoshop Touch saves the jpg files?

  For the life of me, I can't find where Photoshop Touch saves the jpgs from the main intro page (the only place I found same save files).

  I have a Tablet first TF201 transformer with all latest updates. I also installed 32 GB SD micro card as well as the 64 GB internal memory that has my TF201.

  Then, when I go not to save the project (export?) a picture, Touch says "record in camera roll", which is fine; but

  (a) it is not in my rolls of standard camera (whether on the internal memory of the TF201 (DCIM and sub folders)

  (b) is not in the film of my microphone (also a DCIM) SD card directly.

  I tried to open and visualize every possible place he could be stored - editing, images, etc. Searched through the app Gallery and PQR app, can not find them.

  Where the devil Photoshop Touch saves local jpgs after that you worked on a picture?

  And while I'm at it, why is there not a dialog to actually choose where you want to save the files? The only options are "Save to Camera Roll" (not an option in fact) and a menu drop-down list to choose the png or jpeg format.   I think I'm a narrowing down the problem. On the first transformer TF201, the 'Images' folder is a system folder, and I can not rename, can not delete files, or copy and past inside via Astro or the file manager of Asus. Then of course, Photoshop Touch cannot do that either. For this reason, it seems that Photoshop Touch is actually useless for me, unless I can save files to another location. I was not able to change the status of the folder/mnt/sdcard/Pictures at all.

  I would really like to see a Photoshop Touch option to set your directory where you want to save the images. It's very frustrating, as it is now. I did experiment with the program for the part of last night, but not be able to save the images (they don't even email) outside of Photoshop Touch, it is pretty useless.

  This is obviously an Asus / transformer premium / Ice Cream Sandwich problem, but it is also question of Photoshop Touch because PS Touch is very limited in the save file arena.

  EDIT: I had the same problem with the folder music of the TF201 after I did the upgrade of the ICS (could not write to the folder, could not remove the folder or its content), but I fixed it by renaming the folder (as I do) to Music2 and created a new folder called Music.

  Just tried with the pictures TF201 folder. Her renamed Pictures2, then created a new folder called images. And now save files.

• Photoshop Touch universal application for the Continuum for phones on Windows 10

  A few days ago I bought a new 950 Lumia from Microsoft with Windows Mobile 10 which have the peculiarity of 'Continuum for phones' very useful which allow you to use Universal Windows App on a big screen and see them with the same interface they have when they are running on the desktop environment, but the app is still running on your phone.

  With Microsoft display Dock (or others of another manufactuer), you can even plug in you USB mass storage devices.

  For my work I only need Word, a file browser, a Web browser and an app with levels just like Photoshop Touch of Sophie photo editing.

  I already have all the universal App I need, but I'm still missing something like Photoshop Touch and it is not PhotoshopTouch as a universal application on Windows Store (at least with levels).

  If Adobe decides to make Photoshop Touch (or something similar) as a universal Windows application, I use only my phone to do anything and it connects on a large screen, mouse and keyboard when I arrive in my office, without need to bring the laptop with me and with the utility to continue my work on the road on my phone because everything is already there with the Continuum without need for multiple devices and a cloud platform to synchronize files on multiple devices.

  Well, I'd like to get a Surface Pro 4, then I could use Photoshop CC with it.

  Photoshop Touch itself was abandoned, but there are already some applications that allow to fill some of the gaps he left behind (like Photoshop Fix and Photoshop Mix). The problem here, is that they are Android and iOS only for now. (I think not that patch has been released for Android yet.)

  To import images or adding text, there is an icon of the magnet with a check mark in the options box; Press to turn off the snap.

  All your windows updates are installed?  Try to clean the Windows thumbnail species.  I think use Adobe the OS dialog for features like open file. Also, to get thumbnails for RAW file PSD files, you will need to install codecs in windows. I use the fastepictureviewer codec package. What version of Windows are you using the dialog box look like a windows problem.

• Lightroom CC all of a sudden won't send files to Photoshop CC

  Out of nowhere hand, Lightroom lost the ability to send files to Photoshop. Keyboard shortcuts, do nothing and the commands on the menu are grayed out.

  I had the photoshop.plist file, but did not have a new after you restart Photoshop.

  So I uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop. No improvement.

  So I put Lightroom updated to the latest version. Improvement of false weird.

  Now, if I open Lr I see the options send to ch not grayed out, but they do nothing. Even with the already open Ps, no file is going to Lr.

  It's not cool.

  What do I do?

  So, in my words, your picture has not changed somehow in Photoshop. There is no sense and doesn't matter the number of ppi. The important numbers are pixels.
