• I need VPN gateway to gateway with NAT for several subnets, RV082

  I have a pair of RV082 routers and I would like to configure a gateway to gateway VPN tunnel, as described in a book, "How to configure a VPN tunnel that routes all traffic to the remote gateway," (name of file Small_business_router_tunnel_Branch_to_Main.doc).  I followed this recipe book and found that my while the main office has internet connectivity, the branch subnet is not an internet connection.

  Routing behaves as advertised, where all traffic goes to the seat.  However, the 192.168.1.0 subnet in the branch receives no internet connectivity.  I read in other posts that the main router will provide only NAT for the local subnet, not the Management Office subnet.  Is it possible to configure the RV082 router to provide NAT for all subnets?

  If this is not the case, what product Cisco will provide connectivity VPN Tunnel as well as the NAT for all subnets?  The RV082 can be used as part of the final solution or are my RV082s a wasted expense?

  If the version of discoverer 10g, make sure that you have the profile options set correctly according to the doc referenced above by Helios.

• Chip and upgrade memory set on my great MacBook Pro 1.2 and want to download the latest OS to Snow Leopard. An Apple store guy did to his own personal machine, but the upgrade was a procedure in several steps. Help!

The Apple Store genius who did this on his own machine was on his own because Apple does not officially support the best MacBook Pro they never built and isn't there anymore to ask questions about the OS correct necessary updates. I think he said he had to go to Lion first and then upgrade to latest, although we both agreed that El Capitan was too buggy. Anyone know what I need to do to let the download procedure OS know that my ols is now a new machine?

  Where did you buy the RAM module?  If it was not directly a source of Apple, you did it sure it was for the year and the time of year of output of your model (i.e. mid-2006 MacBook Pro)?  To identify the age, go to this tip:

• How can I detect if a step has been ignored?

  In an application of C-Sharp, is there a way to detect if a step has been ignored once completed execution?

  ApplicationMgr.GetRunState () and ApplicationMgr.GetTerminationState () do not say if the execution was complete (Nothing ignored) or incomplete (1 or several steps skipped).

  You will still need to check each step, but I believe that what you try to do better with the use of Step.ResultStatus:

  Specifies the status string for the step.

  Remarks

  Although you can set custom status strings, this property is usually set to one of the Proprietesde constants.

• Is it possible to add an extra step group?

  I would like to add additional groups of Step, in order to better organize my test sequence.  This would only be for purposes of Visual Organization and is not related to the call of subsequences.  I think that reports, as well as documentation would be easier to read if there was a way to separate the groups of sequences / in smaller sections.  I understand that this can be partially achieved by using the sequence of calls, but I found the data record is much more straight forward if I can keep the steps in order of higher level (I need not to pass the data through variables or parameters).

  Please let me know if this is possible, or if there are other suggestions for a better visual organization.  Thank you.

  Unfortunately you can't add/remove groups stage.  You can only ever to have 3.

  However, you can use the step Label and hide the icon, name and status.  You can use several steps of the label to achieve certain look:

  No label to hide everything

  Label not hide everything except the name (the name will be description section)

  No label to hide everything

  You can also change the icon of the step of the label to help identify the section as well.

  I use the COM adapter to call the TestComplete application.  There are several steps in the sequence file, which is to run a script given in TestComplete.  However TestStand doen't expect the TestComplete finish executing the script, beforeproceeds to the next step.  I tried to insert a wait time, but couldn't make it work properly (for example wait testcomplete send a rear return value).

  TestStand will wait until the function he calls ends.  Looks like the TestComplete API returns before the end of its execution.  I would look into this API to see if taken TestComplete supported by this use case.

• Several cameras simultaneously on Labview

  I'm new to Labview programming, so it would really help if you guys can help me...

  I have an Exchange virtual server and 2 GigE cameras and I have developed an inspection using Vision Builder program, that works perfectly for what I need. The thing is that I have to run two cameras at the same time - as two tasks at the same time - and I realized (with support) that it is impossible to do such a thing with Vision Builder. So, I have to do all this work on Labview now...

  At the moment I can't use the Exchange virtual server, so I'm with a RESUME, to test... I use a scA640-70fm and a Basler A631f, the two IEEE-1394 cameras. So here is my question:

  To make both cameras working at the same time, is there enough creating two simple While loops and put the Acquisition of the Vision of each cam function inside of their? Is it supposed to work this way?

  because when I am doing this and spin, I don't see on the face before Labview two cameras running at the same time! It seems odd, with cameras acquire images that the other and images sometimes disappear... looks like it does not process images at the same time.

  I'm doing something wrong? Should I take another procedure to make it work the way I need?

  Should I have problems when I perform this procedure on my cameras GigE with EVS?

  You are correct that Vision Builder AI is sequential in terms of how he runs the individual steps. Algorithms in these steps and how they execute can take advantage of multiple cores to help them run faster on machines with more than 1 kernel, so in that sense, some steps may take advantage of multiple cores, but several steps cannot run at the same time. This does not prevent several images acquired since the same trigger to be treated so. The stages of acquisition supports an immediate mode, which means that if two cameras were triggered at the same time, even if the steps in order, the pictures, they come back can come at the same time in time and you can use the step select an Image to switch the image you wish to treat. It should be benchmarking of your inspection in VBAI on the Exchange virtual server (much faster than CVS) before moving on to a parallel architecture more complicated in LabVIEW with several loops of execution simultaneously.

  One reason your previous test with several loops may not have worked, is that you may have named the image that you have created with the same name. This basically means the acquisition of two loops would be overwhelming each other images. Make sure that when you use IMAQ create, you provide a unique name for each image. Another suggestion for how to ensure hourly LabVIEW each loop on a separate processor is to do two under the screws that are configured for different delivery systems. You can set this by going to file > VI properties > run > favorite Execution System on the VI and selecting the different systems.

  Certainly, you should be able to have several running in parallel loops in LabVIEW, but before jumping to this approach, it may be worth benchmarking of the VBAI solution first because this will make it easier to make changes to the code, and it provides steps to high level who don't have to worry about things like having unique names for the images.

  The comment above about the parallelism of the loop For is useful if you want the same code to run in parallel, which you can't do because you're acquisition from different cameras. He'd also manipulation of the results of different cameras and disguishing which translates to go with what more difficult camera. That's why I recommended the VI sub running in various delivery systems as a more flexible way to ensure that you take advantage of both processors.
