  Using Acrobat Pro XI, Windows 7-64, Firefox 25. If I open a PDF file from a Web site link in Internet Explorer, the PDF file opens and I see the path of the URL where I can copy and send to others.   You should be able to resize the address bar, if the search bar is to the right by simply sliding the space between the address bar and the search bar.

  If that does not solve your problems, it is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  I don't think that there are standard control that does this.

  If you want to run the PL/SQL code and creates a branch to another page, why do you use a dynamic action? The easiest way to do this is the button send page, the PL/SQL to run as a process after submit (potentially conditional, click on the button) and the page navigation to achieve using a plug (once again, perhaps conditional on the button that is clicked).

  Thank you for your response. I saw your article mention - you have an great Google visibility when it comes to Captivate. It's a shame that you are one of the only good resources that - and Rod of course (I know you're out there too). It seems rather odd to me that always Captivate gets out with out-of-the-box features that do not work, and support is pretty limited. I can usually find a way around them, but it always adds a lot of time to my projects of debugging to find that the problem is of Captivate and not mine... not ideal. Makes me wonder if Adobe requires releases annual no matter where is their Cp dev team.

  In this case, the same on the output function that failed in my responsive project worked when assigned in the same way in a project of standard and white - at least in this one case alone is not a general question "exit does not work as I want to." I'm not trying to run everything must happen ON the slide came out, I just need to run - at some point. • Why is there a space to the left of the URL in the navigation bar?

  I use Firefox 24.0 (current version) on Windows 8. There is an excessive amount of whitespace to the left of the url. Why is that? Is there a way to justify the url to the left? I'll post a screenshot below.

  In another thread, this was linked to disable that add-on sometimes uses this space on the address bar. I don't remember that one, or if there is one solution other than he reactivation.

  I developed an application where I have 6 pages and 5 tabs and based on the user role I posted the tabs for the user to access these pages.

  But when the user, who doesn't have access to the particular page (say, page 2), but still the user can navigate to it directly by typing the page number in the URL.

  I want to avoid such scenarios.

  eg: http://Apex.Oracle.com/f?p=110:2 , when the user type this in the address bar, it navigates the user to this page even if this particular user does not have access to this page.

  How to prevent the user to navigate through the URL, if the user tries to navigate directly through URLS rather than tabs, I have to give the error message.

  You can also consider the protection of session state to prevent tampering of the URL.

• Navigation between the SWFs in the output of the aggregator

  The CP4 aggregator is an excellent tool again, but I need some advice on customization. Because the aggregator generates an HTML and SWF that serve as the skin for the films Captivate it loads, on-board navigation in Captivate movies (i.e. "chaining" films using "Load project" or "load URL / file ') no longer works. "Load project" fails because there is no HTML file to launch, and "Load URL or file" throw the user off course and the target SWF in the parent window. That means the user depends on the table of contents to navigate between Captivate movies.
  
  I hope that somebody figures a way to control the SWF aggregator since in Captivate movies so navigation between Captivate movies can be achieved with a next button or other object.

  After that play with it some more, Steve is right... Captivate movies added to a project aggregator do default Garland. Specifically, what has worked for me puts the end action 'Stop' in the project preferences, the last slide on the the exit action to 'Go to the next slide' and the next button or click action box to "continue". Works great!
