  Title pretty much everything said. I'm looking for a way to disable only the events of keyboard for the scrollpane himself. I have a number of textfields combined in a movielip within scrollpane so I want to disable the keyboard for the component navigation, while keeping the rest of the functionality of the component as well as the custom for my clip interactions. Is this possible? or do I just try to create a custom scroll bar?

  normally intercept you the keyboard event in a listener function and apply the preventDefault() method.  but the keyboard events scrollpane for are not cancellable, so you'll need to do your own scrollpane.

• Possible to ignore certain datagrid cells when navigating with the keyboard?

  I have some data entry forms based on a datagrid control.  Users typically use the keyboard navigation (tab, enter, etc.) when you fill in the data in the cells.  According to various criteria, some cells may not need to be filled.   I don't competely disable them... just make them ignored in the navigation to the default keyboard.

  In other words, I want to make these fields 'disabled' with a silver background (no problem here) and I want to that they be ignored when navigating by keyboard.  However, I want them to be able to enter data into these fields if they specifically click on it with the mouse (essentially a substitution).

  Make sense?  This sounds like a requirement unusual and potentially difficult to implement.  Hoping someone here can tell me how it's going to be easy

  Any suggestions it if possible and maybe some tips?

  For the regular DG, you are supposed to call preventDefault on ITEM_EDIT_BEGINNING and editedItemPosition to a new position of the cell.  I think that works for ADG, but I could be wrong.

• Is it possible to only use the keyboard to move a window on the desktop?

  I have a lot of fun trying to do it all with just the keys and trackpad not.  One that I'm missing and it would be very useful would be to find a way to move windows with just the use of keys.  I expect the arrows would be involved, but to do something about the window I want to move.

  I believe you can use the best tool to touch (http://www.bettertouchtool.net) to assign keyboard shortcuts to move the windows.

  I have a situation where for one of my layouts from one source, the colors of the topics on the left pane are blue and the colors on the right pane are white. Meanwhile, in another of my single source layouts, colors on the left are blue, but the colors on the right are grey and this provision unique source does not generate the topics I want.

  Can someone explain to me what those colors mean and if as I think, gray means there, why they are there in a single source layoput and not in the other?

  Have you tried UnicodeInput? It is a small program that allows you to enter Windows Unicode characters via the keyboard. Works with practically all the applications that I tested. I use it on Vista, so I can't guarantee it will work also on 7...

  Press and hold the keyboard at the bottom right of the keyboard icon. A window pop up that will have two options - Split and the Dock. Click on the option to dock alongside re your keyboard at the bottom of the screen.

  What do you call it, you have a stuck key. You can start troubleshooting the keyboard with this document.

  Based on the fact that you have received a hardware error code, there may be one or more of the parts that are defective. What specific test you run that came back with this result?

  You can also consult the owner's manual (page 95) if you want to remove/replace the keyboard.

• laptop keyboard stopped working after Windows update.

  have a toshiba satellite A505 laptop and the keyboard stops working after Windows Update reboots. We reinstalled Windows 7, which fixed the problem until the updates have come. Now the keyboard is unresponsive. Sounds like a software problem, no material. Also checked the keyboard drivers that are up to date.

  As a first response, go to the control panel, device, keyboard, keyboard Manager and right click, uninstall it and let it rediscover Windows and then reinstall it.

  It suits it much of the time.

  I understand that you may be eager to hide the menu bar.  Attached, are steps that can be beneficial in addressing you request...

  (1) first Rt click on the bottom of the menu and uncheck lock the toolbars. Then click on organize > layout > menu bar make sure is unaudited.
