necessary changes in the flash file

I am a beginner flash designer. a client asked me to make changes in a file flash used on its website. I am

currently working on the same and would appreciate your help. the client gave me a "about.swf" file that I decompiled

using sothink decompiler 4.5 build 90120 to ' ~ on original.fla'. the xml file resides in the same folder that ~ on

original.Fla. it contains about_us.xml.you can download these files to

http://rapidshare.com/files/251775121/online_questions.zip

change the client is as follows: If you view "about.swf" - when you click on "key people", the details of 4 people

are given - vivek lakhwara, arun goswami, haresh nayak and ss Barros. He wants 2 more peoples names and details to add.

This means add 2 other names in the top menu (which shows the details of people on mouseover) which currently has 4

the names and on mouseover their photo and details must resemble existing of 4 people

I've seen "changes.jpg need" and more others explain my request.

Please tell me if I explained my problem properly or of more further clarification is needed.

It is highly unlikely that someone here will do the work for you, but here's something to start from.  You must change Sprite 145.  She does not have any xml.  You will have to do some research on how current people are made to understand how to add in two additional people and the buttons for them, but it seems to all be contained as a static content in 145 Sprite.

    Hello

I need to download a new version of my app on iOS, but the .xml file will not hold the new version I am writing on the 'AIR for iOS settings' window on Flash cc 2015. It keeps appearing as:

    <? XML version = "1.0".

also when I try to download the new .ipa on iTunes Connect with the Application Loader, I get this message:

    "" "ERROR-ITMS-4238:"redundant binary Upload. " «"" "" There is already a binary download with release ' 1.0.0' train ' 1.0.0 ' "at SoftwareAssets/PreReleaseSoftwareAsset»»»

The problem is not of Application Loader or iTunes Connect as when I open again the .fla and check the window 'AIR for iOS parameters' he continues to display the 1.0 version over and over again. If Flash does not save changes to the .xml file.

And it happens with all my other apps Android or iOS, old and new versions, all appear as <? XML version is "1.0" on the .xml file.

Is anyone know how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hi Pablopi,

The version you make reference to is the XML version. What to change is the node called "versionNumber".

So, try to replace 1.0.0 1.0.1.

  • How can I copy unchanged object of the Flash file in my new work file.

Hello. I changed an entry in my Flash file layer moving around various elements within the layer. I still have the original file, too. I want to put it back exactly as if it was in the original file. How can I replace the element of sprite has changed since the new file with the original of the old file?

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Best - Catherine

I did a lot of changes over time, and I realized only there is a better way to do it. I would therefore delete this "sprite" and put the old one back in.

Drag your old your old library flash sprite to your new flash library.  Click on your new sprite on stage and in the properties panel, click swap.  Select the old sprite.

Also, how would I add a blank layer of the flash file?

in your editing panel, at the bottom, to the extreme a l' extreme gauche left is a new layer icon.  Click to add a layer.

  • Changes to the Raw files disappear when importing Images from external drive

I use three external drives to copy my files from a work of transformation. Then I delete the original work on my hard drive portable. When I need to access these files again, I usually then re - import files in lightroom and remove the external hard drive. I used this system for years without problem. • Could not import the flash file in presenter

I am running presenter 7.0 in PPT 2007. Other than the problem I have with a video file flash, it seems to work correctly.

I created a flash video in Captivate (it is a demonstration of the short software), and I want to integrate it into a presentation using Presenter. But when I select "insert a swf file" tab in Adobe Presenter, I never have a chance to select the swf file I want.

I expect a file at this point selection dialog box. Instead, I went to Internet Explorer and more, nothing happens.

The flash file works fine as a stand-alone running in Internet Explorer.

Is "Insert a swf file" the right way to add this video? Is there a better way to incorporate this Captivate video?

A dead end I tried already: I looked at the description of the problem ' video import failed. Adobe Presenter 7.0.7', but this is not my problem. I'm running (not 7.0.7) 7.0, and the registry key mentioned on the Adobe Presenter support site (TreatFLVCheckWarningAsError) is not present on my computer.

    Thanks for your help.

    -George

OK, I recommend all first that inquire through the Adobe update 7.0.6 or 7.0.7 via the download available to the public at http://www.adobe.com/products/presenter/.

As for your question to import the flash file, if you use Captivate 5 or 5.5 he published in AS3 (ActionScript 3) only, and presenter 7.0.0 - 7.0.6 is an AS2 application. Therefore, your Captivate SWF files will not work in presenter. So, if you use Captivate 5 or newer, you must go to introduce 7.0.7 to SWFs to work.

The problem you describe seems to me that you are working on a PPT file located on a shared drive. Presenter do not work with files that are not on your computer and will tend to not show the Insert Flash, video or Audio dialogs if the presentation is on a shared drive.

  • Floating frame by placing the flash file

Ask yourself, is that someone can give me a hand here. I put a flash file in an existing page that has CSS. The flash file will always in the upper left corner. The file is p; laced in a table therefore must stay there but the CSS for some reason any takes over. Is there a way to show where it is placed with them disrupt the CSS too?

    flash.JPG

First off I don't see a DOCTYPE declaration:

    http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_doctype.asp

    or

    http://www.w3schools.com/HTML5/tag_doctype.asp

Then I suggest that you create a simple image the exact same dimensions as the .swf.

    width = "512" height = "288".

and get that placed exactly where you want it on the Web page. Once that is done, then place the .swf in this space.

Creating a type of replacement content and get this working first is the recommended method to use .swfobject (which is what you use for Flash detection).

If you can not get the picture placed correctly... the problem has nothing to do with Flash.

Because the Flash is placed at the top left, it seems that you could have a id or some other problem naming that takes the natural flow Flash content and implementation before the other content... or it could be because there is no DOCTYPE.

  • need help: enter the flash file in Dreamweaver site with dark background

    Hello
I entered a SWF in a site dreamweaver with a dark blue background. When you view the site in a browser, there is a white square (the size of the flash file) which flashes for one second before the file begins to load. It is rather ugly and I was wondering if anyone knew how to avoid this white square of flashing to the top.
I tried already to make the bottom of dark blue table and adding a dark blue square as a background image, but that didn't make a difference.

  • hidden behind the flash file menu

    Hello

This is probably the answer somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. This is my first time coming to this forum. I have a good knowledge of HTML, learn CSS and just started with DW CS3.

I have a drop down at the top of my page. In the body of the page is a flash (.swf) file. The drop-down menu falls behind the flash file. I played a bit with z-index to try and stack the elements correctly, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I need the combo of being above everything else. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Murray,
Thank you for your quick response. That did the trick in IE6, IE7 and Firefox. Appreciate your help in resolving this fight almost 2 weeks to understand.

  • Does not display the Flash files in Dreamweaver

Flash files is not displayed in Dreamweaver or in any browser. If I insert a button in Flash, text or other files, when I hit the button "play" instead of flash holder disappears and the Flash file never shows. In the property inspector, the file is always 'no set' even when I save the file in my folder of root with a name. When I hit the "Edit" button, I get the message that the file is not found on my local disk. It of as if Dreamweaver does not create or place a Flash file. Help please!

  • How to save image Lightroom changes in the source file?

My experience with the trial version of lightroom is very positive regarding the powerful image editing features and associated metadata.  But I can't find a way to save changes 'develop' images in the source file for the photo, with that I work.  So far, I am able to save metadata in the file, but not the image editing.  Of what I read, I'm afraid that's not possible without ridicule roundabout exporting to new files then copy / move multiple copies around, etc.. Without this opportunity, I am sure that I will buy Lightroom and will miss out on all the powerful features.  Without an OPTION that turns on the equivalent of a button SAVE, manage my photo collection would be a nightmare.

So my question is: How do you save the change (i.e. developed) version of photo in the same file where the original photo has been stored?

Please, please spare me the answers telling me how stupid I am want to do this and that the cognisenti and professionals would NEVER do that.    But please tell me there is a secret place to enable this option in lightroom.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dad Ben,

LR stores everything you do in his catalog. The word "catalog" in LR - talk indicates not your images, but the database where LR all the stores. This database (catalogue) is a file with the ending < .lrcat=""> and you can see where he is going on > Edit > catalog settings > general tab.

This storage or registration in the catalogue is happening constantly and automatically and you don't have to press a button to .

Stored or saved in the catalog are your changes and everything related to the management of the image (including the location of your image files), captions, keywords, etc.

For this reason, it is very important that preserve you and protect your LR catalog as you preserve and protect your image files. This means that (a) you know the location of the catalog and (b) you should make backups regularly. Without the catalog that you would be always your image files but your changes and everything what you in LR would be lost.

LR does not write to the original image file. But there is the possibility to save the changes in an xmp file, which is a small file which is (normally) Moreover the image file. Do you this backup to the xmp file either in the library Module by going to > metadata > save metadata to file (or the shortcut Ctrl / Cmd + letter "S"), or in the Module development by going > Photo > metadata save file - or CTR. + S.

With DNG, it is a bit different; with Lr DNG writes the changes to the file header. But the procedure is the same.

Economy of XMP (or in the header of a DNG) is not necessary because LR records everything in his catalog - automatically. Economy of XMP (or in the header of DNG) has the effect that the changes you made in LR are now visible in any other Adobe program that can read the XMP files (or DNG files) - for example Adobe Bridge. But for LR, it is not necessary.

And there is a caveat: while LR records everything in the catalog, not all things that you do in LR are written in XMP e DNG. If only the LR catalog records everything you've done in LR.

To answer your question: you do not have to save the modified version of a photo in the original file. LR saves your changes in the catalog automatically and displays your changes because he reads the original image file and then apply the changes to the display.
