need a cd with older operating system for an iMac of 1995

I have an older iMac, there is not an operating system installed on it, although it works.  I need a CD with his own version of OS. Do you know where I can get a.

The first iMac was introduced in 1998 and comes with OS 8.1.  It is known as the "Bondi Blue" iMac, which is a dark shade of blue-green.  He had a 233 MHz G3 processor and an optical drive tray-loading.  This model was followed by the iMac of fruits of color with a 266 MHz G3 processor.  A faster group of fruit color iMacs were followed, which also had the same optical drive of the plate, but a 333 MHz G3 processor.  Check out this page which lists all iMac models and post back with the model with the plug that matches the one you have.  Knowing that will determine how modern an OS you can install on it.  Check ebay for an OS installation disc, but still looking for the version (Universal Installer) retail disc and not a restore with a software disc incompatible build designed for another Mac model.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Why the books are grouped and preinstalled with the operating system?

    It's complaints

My Portege has Windwosw Vista. I didn't want to buy Vista, but they were only selling with him and no other choice was possible to purchase.

First of all, my laptop had problems to install Windows updates. I could not connect my institution's Internet System. I had to reinstall the system again.
    It's a waste of time!

After re-installation of the button for the sound on the outside Panel does not work correctly.

Also, when I try to stop the laptop sometimes it restarts itself - he doesn't stop!

Secondly, I had a problem with the laptop, when an opportunity to visit a well-known site, it serves to block itself.
Once, when he is blocked, I had to restart and its screen remained black. They took for repair. It was delivered later - repaired, but with a defect on the screen!
    What a... workers!

When I bought this laptop he had an offer with the update of Vista with Windows 7 after their release.
Wonderful. But just note, Toshiba has the highest price of the offer, compared to its competitors - 30 (or £) against 15 for others, which of course I'm not going to pay.

I already paid for Vista, which is incredible, and I knew, but I had not choice not to buy!

All right, so there is still competition in the market, several possibilities are present - install Windows cracked, switch to Linux or just buy an Apple!

Please, take this comment seriously! And please, stop with group buying, no matter what the benefit is. It won't work for long.

    Hi mate

Fact is that most of the laptop manufacturers sell the computer and laptop computer with a preinstalled operating system. So I wouldn't blame Toshiba or other brands for which

You get a new computer/laptop with a new OS.
During the past 20 years, Microsoft released 3.0 Win, Win 95, Win 98, Win NT, W2k, Win XP, Win ME, Vista and Win 7, I remember that all my computers or laptops were grouped with these operating systems

Toshiba offers the notebook with a clean image and you can also create a recovery disk (so don t need to buy anything if you need t n)
Of course, each of us can install a clean OS, but there are a lot of people who are happy with such image pre-installed because everything is pre-installed and configured.

Many people have no knowledge of computer wide and are really recognizing that everything is pre-installed and the configuration does not have a lot of time

    With regard to the question of the laptop;
What to say; you had a bad luck that something was wrong with the laptop. This can still happen that my new LCD TV other manufacturer, was dead after two weeks, I called ASP, then replaced the screen now is ok

    • C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research in Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    4. go into C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For Vista or Windows 7 64-bit, the path will be C: > Program Files x 86 > common files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double-click on Loader.exe.

Upgrade will continue then after Installation of the new OS restore your BlackBerry Desktop backup

    Please help if possible

Probably, all in all probably is a 16-bit program, and as such does not work on Windows 8.0/8.1 64 bit. In addition, the game seems to have 20 years or more. You can try running in compatibility mode, but I think that the game is dead. Hope this helps and if you need help please post and we will be happy to help you.

  • best operating system for Photoshop cs6

What is the best operating system for Photoshop cs6? Choose 32-bit or 64-bit? Windows 8 is compatible?

Photoshop works well on most systems and has problems on some systems - either Mac or PC.  It's not really work "better" on either.  This (great) selection of the platform must be based on other factors.

Note that Photoshop CS6 works in 64-bit Mac OSX.

If you work on large images, Photoshop can really use the address space of extra RAM that can provide a 64 bit OS.  If you are wanting to go with Windows and some hope scalability really probably want to consider variants of Windows x 64.

Windows 7 x 64 is mature and very functional.  Windows 8, not really after being released to the public yet, is fairly new to consider immediately (although I tested it carefully).  Display drivers may not be ready, plus a few things that you know and love has actually been removed (for example, the Start button).

Personally I suggest to go with Windows 7 x 64 for now - that's what I'm staying with - at least until the dust settles a little after the release of Windows 8.

Regarding the compatibility of the applications you have specific concerns?  Windows 7 x 64 works virtually any 32-bit application very well indeed.  It will not run 16-bit applications (for example, from 15 + years), but if you still absolutely need one of these there is the possibility of running virtual XP in Windows 7.

My camera Olympus only works with Apple's Quick Time 7.  Is it possible to make it work with my operating system from Windows XP?

Apple QuickTime 7 works is because. MOV is the Apple

QuickTime. MOV files can cause problems with Windows Media Player.
And... If you plan to try editing with Movie Maker... the files should
be converted to the. WMV format.

No guarantee, but the following decoder might allow Windows Media

Convert the. MOV files to the. WMV format may be worth a try:

(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup295.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag > FFSetup295.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...
