  Dear members:
  
  I recently downloaded files .flv from the Internet and tried to view them without success. I installed in my computer the suite CS3 premium that includes Flash CS3 so I was surprised that the videos would not play. Right-click on these files, I have the choice to open them using the Flash Player.app (1), which is selected as default and also (2) Adobe Flash CS3.app, (3) Flash MX 2004 and SAFlashPlayer (4). In fact, none of these apps plays videos. When I select the Flash Player.app and SAFlashPlayer application load and they appear the menu bar of Mac OS x, but nothing happens.
  
  Please forgive me if this is a basic question, but I was not able to locate a stand-alone version of Flash Player for download on the Adobe web site. One that I found seems to be one installed in browsers so that they can play Flash media.
  
  Where can I find and download the stand alone Flash Player?

  After that I placed my original message, I found a plug-in to QuickTime that allows playing Flash videos. The name is Perian and did a very good job. A practical solution for those with Macs.

  Thank you second post I was able to find and download the new Adobe Media Player and really liked. The interface is pretty cool and I think it has more features that I haven't had the chance to explore (it seems more than just a simple player).

  I noticed that in Adobe Media Player, the videos seem to play with a better quality, then this will certainly become my default player for Flash media in the future.

  I have a stand-alone copy of CS6 on my computer, but think a Cloud creative unique Ap Illustrator subscription. I have not previously participated to subscriptions, so am new to all aspects of it. There will be conflict in download, installation and future functioning if the autonomous CS6 and the subscription of the CC of the Illustrator are on the same computer (Win 8.1, 64-bit)?  Should I remove the stand-alone CS6 to avoid problems?

  I have prepared a project with Premiere elements 10 using video clips of 1440 * 1080 with some petite markers and menu structure. The structure of the DVD encoded has VIDEO_TS (as usual) and OpenDVD records which is new to me and that obvoisely contains important information.

  Read the DVD with Windows Media Center, everything is good. Using a stand allone player that the menu not played correctly, the proportions are not correct and there is no possible navigation. I tested the DVD in an electronic market with many players and found only one or two who have been able to read the DVD. My questions:

  How to build a DVD that consists only of the VIDEO_TS folder with all menu information included, and which is compatible with a standard DVD player? (what settings)

  Your project Preset should match your Source footage, as close as possible.

  If you go on a DVD, a workflow would be to import and edit your material anamorphic 1440 in a corresponding project. Then, once finished, / the share of exports in DV - AVI, create a new DV (DS) project, import this file DV - AVI inside and do what the authoring, then burn to disc for the DVD.

  I made full-screen independent publish with AS2, Flash Player 9. Everything works fine on XP Ms. But MS Vista when you go full screen, all you can see is background color (all other content disappears).
  I tried 2 AS and AS 3, downloaded, newer flash drives etc.
  After some tests, I noticed that when I disable "hardware acceleration" in menu flash player it works fine on Vista too.
  Can someone help me?
  Meybe anyone knows how to disable hardware acceleration with Action Script?

  I downloaded the "flash_player_update6_flash9" package, uinstalled flash player, install the drive/copy files form package and it works fine now on Vista OS.

  Cannot find a lot on the standalone viewer, except in the docs of Flash Builder, who says a .swf can specify to use. I can't find a download link.

  You can download the standalone player (projector) since https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

  Note that the download is the player, not an installer, you will need to manually .swf file association.

• 'Simulate download' option appearing only in the stand-alone Flash Player debugger

  I have a strange problem - today I seem to have completely lost the 'Simulate download' option in the menu display of the standalone Flash Player. When the problem started, I ran the last 11.5 TIME Installer Flash drive and then downloaded the latest version of the debugger, but still no dice. The stand-alone version, that I am running is called "flashplayer_11_sa_debug.exe" so it should work. Is there something special I need to do after loading a SWF file to get the ability to simulate the download? I thought that any standalone player debugger should give me the option of the simulate download once I loaded a SWF, but I tried older versions and they are also not showing this option for some reason any. :/

  FWIW, I use Flashdevelop and Flash CS5 Pro - I tried building/launch of my Flashdevelop project (which launches the debugger 11.x player) and directly from CS5 ide (which launches a debugger 10.x player), but neither has the simulation download option more. I also tried to launch another, older Flash project and I got the same results in the player.

  I can't imagine what is wrong, since this feature was yesterday in the drive and I don't have any major changes to my configuration of Flash Pro/Flashdevelop (AFAIK). Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

  I was instructed to download and apply the latest flash player (to be in conformity with the operational guidelines for patch vunerabilities) to our stand-alone systems that are not connected to the internet.  These systems can be connected to the network because of contracts existing between our Organization and the contractor.  I was able to download the latest version of flash player/plugin for these stand-alone computers.  Our office is not interested to install Flash player for computers that do not already pre-installed flash, only those who have older versions that need to be patched.  My problem is what I've done the research implies solutions that require access to an internet/Web page to check if the Flash has been installed.  Is there another method to check if Flash Player or the plugin are on these computers without being connected to a network or the internet?  We are also prohibited to install any 3rd party software that is not approved for use in our Organization. Any suggstions will be appreciated.  All computers are 32-bit OS - Windows XP SP3 or Windows Server 2003

  Motion IS a stand-alone application. It is mainly designed to make effects for Final Cut Pro X, but it is not necessary to have with FCPX nor is it necessary to have FCPX to create projects for other purposes. When you open the query, simply select project of work outside the FCPX motion. You can save regular projects of Motion anywhere on your system.

• Windows Media Player ActiveX plays do not image, but the stand alone WMP application. Why?

  I use my Windows Media Player v11 with extra codec to play mp4 files (mp4 are not supported by default with WMP 11, so I had to install a codec). It works very well in the stand-alone application, but when I use the ActiveX control in the regulation, it does not use the codec and I get only sound... no picture. I thought that the ActiveX was merely an interface to the same application of base used by OR and the stand alone media player. And if it's the same kernel, it must use the same codec. What Miss me?

  I have a tip for you. If you download Quicktime 7 (QT), you can select the QT activex player (see picture). It plays mp4 and seems better. QT is free, so there shouldn't be any problem. Try and see if it make you good
