  I have a purchased copy of Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection, which includes Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on a separate drive.  I am transfer to a new computer and have changed everything except Acrobat 9 Pro that I have lost the disc.  I have a valid product key.  I managed to download Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, but my product key does not work for the extended version.  It is easy to download Acrobat 10 but I need 9.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thank you.

  I got a new computer running Win7 64-bit. I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro, I am getting down to work on the new system. During the installation process, he raised an error by requesting the file adobepdf.dll of Windows Vista. Since I also have a computer running Vista, I was able to locate the necessary file to complete the installation. However, when I try to PDF a website for example, it displays an error to the Task Manager (clock lower). When I check the properties of the Adobe PDF printer, it shows the port as being "LPT1".

  I contacted Adobe via online chat, but was directed to the website www.adobe.com/support. There, I could not find anything.

  I guess the first question to ask is... Is Windows 7 64 bit & Adobe Pro 8 compatible? If so, what am I doing wrong? If this isn't the case, that answers the question here. When I asked the cat Adobe representative, all they said about the compatibility, is that it has not been tested on Win7, so they don't know.

  I tried to make the facility a couple of times / ways. The first time I did the installation, I clicked on Cancel when she asked the file AdobePDF.dll Vista. I got the same results as I did when I found the file.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The part I did was downloaded the 8.1 update, and it worked perfectly after that.

  Because the printer is able to scan from HP and Microsoft paint software then the problem you are having is with the Adobe Acrobat 9 software. My first suggestion would be to uninstall the program and then reinstall it to see if the problem persists. If you still have the same problem, you need to contact Adobe technical support.

  Acrobat 9 is quite old and not longer supported. The last Windows OS that could use Acrobat 9 has Windows 7 and Acrobat had to have all updates applied.

  You need to upgrade to Acrobat DC.
