  It seems that the application has gone corrupt.  You can uninstall the utility of quick adjustment for Inspiron 1520, using software like Revo Uninstaller. Although Dell has not tested or subscribe.  Please check that you create a restore system as suggested by natakuc4 point.

  Please share weather you replaced just the CPU or the motherboard full.
