  Recently, I bought an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo, which came with a number of packaged applications.  One of the bundled applications was be Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0.  Everything seemed to install correctly from the Epson CD, but the CD of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 install not, at all.  I noticed that a process called Setup32.exe fight, but nothing has ever appeared on screen, in the way of progress of the installation.

  The specifications of the computer on which I'm trying to install the software:

  Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

  500 GB hard drive with more than 300 GB of free space

  4 GB OF RAM

  64-bit AMD Turion x 2 processor (2.2 GHz)

  It is my understanding that PSE 2 is not supported in Windows 7. I migrated from PSE3 PSE 8 on my new Windows 7 machine, and the program works correctly in this environment. Suggest you buy PSE 9, which is the latest version.

  I try to install Photoshop CS6 on my Mac Pro OS X 6.8 using the same installation CD I just used to load properly on my new MacBook Pro running. Installation stops - tried three times after I rebooted twice - and I get the error message below. I would appreciate your help how to solve this error, and then to get the software installed.   Nothing to my buddy so you won't find any tools Toshiba Vista notebook on Toshiba European driver page then such driver, tools and utilities were not rejected, and you can use your laptop without software.

  OK, I know this is an old program but I have used for years and never had a problem until now.  The styles that I used to frame images will freeze when I click one of the effects of the design to change.  The hand tool appears on the effect I want change and I am able to click and drag the effect (shadow) but nothing else will be. It seems to be stuck on this click & move feature.  Any help?

  We'll see to reset preferences clears this problem:

  Hold down the CTRL - Shift - Alt from the cold Photoshop start.  If you get the keys to the low enough - quickly and you have to be VERY fast - it prompts you to confirm the removal of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being the default value.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

• Need help with the software of CD/DVD problem!

  Okay - I have an OptiPlex 745, which currently holds a NEC DVD +-RW ND - unit 3650 a DVD Burner in that I just got from Dell to replace.  I have a TSST TS-H653.  I recently noticed that my cd/dvd would not do anything (it is not displayed in my computer and has a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.)  Dell shipped me a new motherboard and a new optical drive.  None of these solved the problem.  During the removal of the device and then reboot. Windows sees the device and installs it, but something is not quite take because it is always the yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.  I called the support technique dell back what they said it's a problem of software and reinstalling windows (I have XP Pro) could solve the problem.  I'm sure they're right about that because I can boot from a CD.  But I can't then use the drive under windows.  I also tried to switch from SATA 2 5 SATA but no go.  Any help would be greatly appreciated - I really don't want to have to reinstall just to correct an optical device.  Thank you all!

  I downloaded Photoshop to use the trial. However, when I downloaded and tried to start the test program, it only allows me. Instead, it requires a serial key number and does not allow me to use my trial period. Also, there is no option to try to start using my trial.

  The trial version does not have any serial number. Your ID, Adobe will suffice.

  Unless you have installed Photoshop before and 30 days trial period is over you will not get prompted to enter the serial number to use the trial.

  Your first screenshot shows the layer style dialog where not all types of effects are indicated on the left. Bottom left of the dialog box, you see a small icon fx with a menu arrow drop-down. Use drop down the menu and make sure all you click on show all effects or restore the default list. I don't know what you're trying the shoe on the second screen capture.

  This window is only 3 hundredths of a 4 hundredths of an inch each way. It's as good as it gets for zoom for something of this size.

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
