  You see only this button on the toolbar of Navigation if the menu bar is hidden (uncheck view > toolbars > Menu bar)

  You can double-click or middle-click empty space on the tab bar to open a new tab.
  
  It's just no longer in the context menu of the tab bar.

  There are comments that the Throbber Button extension works in Firefox 4, so you can try to raise the maxVersion in install.rdf to see if it works in the current version, as well.

  I noticed that when I'm on a call I can't view other applications like email, textmsgs, bbm and contacts.

  With your old phone, you can click on the home button during a call and read emails and textmsgs.

  While you are in a call, drag the bottom bezel up as if you were about to look at your Hub.  This will reduce the phone app while keeping the active call.  You can then bounce in and out of other applications while your call is still in progress.  To end the call, press the call key in the lower left corner to go back to the call screen where you can end the call.

  I have a backup image that is searchable (old but hopefully good enough for my purposes of a few weeks), but when I look for places.sqlite on my C drive all I can see is the Thunderbird places.sqlite. Where is the Firefox equivalent, what is it called?
  Otherwise, the Pb of current history still contains history "select for deletion" that can be recovered?

  OK I found it, in Mozilla in appdata roaming.
  I don't understand why File Explorer could not find in the search.
  In any case, I got three db places.sqlite files after renaming the current, so it's closed for me.

  If you middle - click the home will open a new tab that contains the home page.

  These buttons are not in the drop-down to 'Add' Palette, they are on the Navigation toolbar and must be "moved".
