  In large part, Yes.  I didn't fall on one that does not work on Windows 7, which was done on Windows Vista.  But by saying that I haven't met one who does not work on Windows Vista and I have a fairly large library of games.

  The only thing that I actually noticied is lowest for the transition to 64-bit, where the 16-bit applications no longer works, and some games just there about 8 years ago still used 16-bit installers.

  HP does not currently have drivers for Windows 8. You probably won't need them. Windows 8 is not coming. It's here!

  Just do the installation on a spare hard drive and bring the original HARD drive to a safe place.

  . Windows 8 has drivers built in for most laptops and desktop computers. I did have to look for a driver in two facilities. One was an HP mini and the other was a Toshiba laptop.

  ZIRE 21 hot sync is not compatible with vista 64-bit program - apparently it will work with 32-bit vista.  Is there a way to create a 32-bit only for the Zire 21 program without compromising the rest of my 64 bit OS computer? That's what Microsoft sent me. The help for this program was created in Windows format help, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista.

  32 bit and 64 bit OSs are completely different operating systems.

  For some reason, qfecheck reports no updates for internet explorer 6 for windows 2000. He noted, however, the same updates for windows xp.

  Troubleshooting steps already made on update KB969897:

  1. look for the new version of qfecheck
  2 Verfied update has been installed (WSUS, registry and file versions)
  3 update applied manually
  4 Verfied that registry entries have the correct permissions (full system)
