  If you connect to your bank from adobe account, you should be able to recover the serial number if you have saved it. (If you signed up for photoshop.com, it is recorded).

  James, if it came with the machine and you are not registered, then you can't get it from the dealer where you purchased the machine. PSE 8 is now end of life and we have limited resources for the same thing, make sure you check the system requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements if you try to install it on a new machine.

  After my drive in the part serial number installation, I spend 30 minutes drive myself crazy b/c is not on the box as he's supposed to be, it is not on the package that the disc came, and the paper inside said supposed to start with 1057, some figures in front of me made who! I called Sam Club (where I bought last week, I also opened last week, keeping the discs, booklet and box) they open an and tell me that it's on the box that the disks are in... Well, I threw the part on last week, thinking it was nothing! Apparently, I don't see the serial number on it, otherwise I'd not throw it! Now what should I do? I was counting on this today and now I'm out of luck it looks like!
